Christian Interrail Journey through Europe Calls for Youth Participation

Young people are being presented with a unique opportunity to embark on a transformative journey of faith and exploration through a Christian interrail trip across Europe.

Organized by Operation Mobilization (OM), the highly anticipated three-week Race Across Europe event aims to encourage individuals over the age of 18 to learn more about evangelizing overseas while building confidence in both conversational and practical gospel sharing.

In an exclusive interview with Premier, Lara Jenkins from OM highlighted the organization’s objective to make missions more appealing and accessible to young people. The Race Across Europe initiative seeks to bridge the gap between faith and adventure, providing participants with an unforgettable experience that combines cultural immersion with spreading the message of Christianity.

“We’re aware that people want to travel on gap years and people are keen to see the world. So we wanted to think of ways that they could do that, as well as share the gospel and have mission experiences that they might not just by travelling,” she said.

The interrail trip will take participants on a whirlwind journey across various European countries, offering them the opportunity to engage with different cultures, explore historical landmarks, and form lasting connections with fellow travelers.

As they travel from one destination to another, young Christians will have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations about their faith, sharing the gospel message with individuals they meet along the way.

The group has planned an extensive itinerary, encompassing various countries such as France, Germany, The Balkans, Greece, and Poland, where they will actively engage in outreach activities and collaborate with ministries focused on assisting refugees, children, and sports initiatives.

In preparation for their journey, the group will undergo evangelistic training in the UK and receive ongoing training during the trip. This training will emphasize the importance of considering cultural differences when sharing the gospel, enabling the group to effectively connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Jenkins further explained that during the trip, there will be a midpoint stop in Greece, where a select few members will fly out to facilitate debriefing and processing sessions. This will provide an opportunity for reflection and discussion before the group continues their journey. Upon their return, they will also participate in a week of debriefing, accompanied by field-specific training tailored to the unique aspects of each country they visit.

The scheduled trip is set to take place from 25th June to 18th August, allowing the group ample time to immerse themselves in the various cultures, build meaningful connections, and make a positive impact through their outreach efforts.

Jenkins emphasized the importance of providing young people with hands-on experience in evangelism. The interrail trip not only allows participants to learn more about the diverse cultures and religious landscapes of Europe but also equips them with the necessary tools and confidence to share their faith in a respectful and engaging manner.

OM, a renowned international Christian organization with a strong emphasis on missions, has carefully designed the Race Across Europe event to cater to the interests and needs of young Christians. By combining travel, adventure, and evangelism, they aim to inspire a new generation of believers to actively participate in global missions.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

- We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?

If you are not a Christian, and would like to become a Christian. Simply say - "LORD Jesus, thank you for forgiving me of my SINs, today I am deciding to follow you. Accept me into your family, in Jesus name I pray. Amen "
