Grammy Winner Shep Crawford Aims to Reconnect Churches and Communities on Memorial Day

Grammy-winning producer Shep Crawford is making headlines once again, but this time for his remarkable efforts to bridge the gap between churches and communities.

In collaboration with Experience Christian Ministries and a collective of 40 faith-based organizations, Pastor Shep Crawford is spearheading a transformative initiative known as The Apology Tour. The primary goal of this tour is to restore the connection and foster meaningful relationships between churches and communities, thereby promoting unity and healing.

The Apology Tour is set to commence on Saturday, May 27, at 12:00 PM, with a highly anticipated press conference scheduled to take place outside Experience Christian Ministries, located in the heart of South Los Angeles. The tour encompasses participation from various ministries across California, including prominent locations such as Los Angeles, Compton, Long Beach, Inglewood, Watts, South Central, and San Bernardino.

At the core of The Apology Tour lies a threefold mission, represented by the acronym CPR. Firstly, the initiative aims to reestablish the Connection between churches and their respective communities. By fostering dialogue and understanding, The Apology Tour seeks to reintroduce the church as a vital pillar of support and guidance for the community.

Secondly, The Apology Tour emphasizes the significance of Partnership between churches and other essential community entities. By collaborating with schools, parks and recreation departments, politicians, law enforcement agencies, and community and faith-based organizations, churches can actively engage in joint efforts to address societal issues and bring about positive change.

Lastly, the initiative focuses on fostering healing and repairing strained communal relationships. Recognizing the impact of past shortcomings, faith leaders participating in The Apology Tour are prepared to acknowledge and take responsibility for their failure to provide sufficient alternatives and support for the community’s youth. Bishop Noel Jones, the esteemed senior pastor of the City of Refuge Church in Gardena, California, expressed his wholehearted support for The Apology Tour, stating, “The Apology Tour has my total approbation. I am sorry for failing to provide more wonderful alternatives for our community’s sons and daughters.”

The press conference, scheduled to launch The Apology Tour, will witness the gathering of participating faith leaders, residents, stakeholders, and local elected officials. This momentous event will serve as an opportunity to discuss the vision, objectives, and potential impact of The Apology Tour, setting the stage for an inspiring journey of collaboration and renewal.

With Grammy Winner Shep Crawford at the forefront, The Apology Tour promises to be a groundbreaking initiative that seeks to reconnect churches and communities, mending broken ties and fostering a sense of unity and empowerment.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

- We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?

If you are not a Christian, and would like to become a Christian. Simply say - "LORD Jesus, thank you for forgiving me of my SINs, today I am deciding to follow you. Accept me into your family, in Jesus name I pray. Amen "
