Sensation on the internet as Nigerian pastor and overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God prayed for Mercy for Nigeria in a short video clip released on social media pages.

During the early hours of the day, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, a Nigeria-based clergyman and scripture teacher took to his official Twitter handle, where he released a video of him earnestly praying for Nigeria. The fall in economy, currency crises, insecurity, and political unrest prompted the prayer of the prominent pastor to supplicate and pray tirelessly for the good and safety of Nigeria, as well as that of the citizens.

The preacher and Bible teacher prayed amidst the 50days annual fasting and prayer that commenced on the 11th of January and runs through till 1st of March. The short clip which was posted on his twitter handle got a lot of responses and reaction from his followers and general public. The video got over two hundred thousand views with lots of likes, comments, and retweets.

- We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?

If you are not a Christian, and would like to become a Christian. Simply say - "LORD Jesus, thank you for forgiving me of my SINs, today I am deciding to follow you. Accept me into your family, in Jesus name I pray. Amen "
