Asbury University has become the epicenter of a new revival, and social media influencers are helping to spread the word.
Instagrammers and TikTokkers are flocking to the Kentucky campus, sharing their experiences and spreading the message of the Asbury Move of God.
The revival began on the 8th of February, with students and staff reporting a renewed sense of spiritual awakening. As word spread, visitors from across the country began to flock to the campus, seeking to experience the revival for themselves.
As social media influencers began to share their experiences, interest in the revival exploded. Instagrammers and TikTokkers posted videos and photos of their encounters with the Holy Spirit, drawing thousands of followers and sparking a wave of interest in the Asbury Move of God.
Graham Allen, the host of “Dear America Podcast” posted a video on his Twitter handle with the caption; “Day 8 of the great Asbury revival.

A popular Nigerian Gospel artist, Dunsin Oyekan also posted a Tweet on the Asbury Revival with the caption;
“Indeed, we are in the season of THE BIRTH OF REVIVAL. When the Lord Spoke to us in Dec 2022, that the next album will be titled THE BIRTH OF REVIVAL, I felt that was very audacious but Ofcourse we believed the one who spoke! What is happening in Asbury for the past 100hours”

As of Wednesday, there had been an outburst of Asbury revival on social media, with the hashtag #asburyrevival circulating with videos and millions of views on Tiktok and Instagram.
Asbury University President Kevin Brown said to local news outlets that he is thrilled to see the revival gaining momentum, and he credits social media with helping to spread the message.
“We’re living in a digital age, and social media has a huge impact on how people learn about and engage with events like this,” Brown said. “We’re grateful for the Instagrammers and TikTokkers who are helping to share the Asbury Move of God with the world.”
The revival is still going strong, with visitors continuing to come to Asbury University to experience the move of God for themselves. As social media continues to play a role in spreading the message, it’s likely that the revival will only continue to grow.
