US Gospel Artist Causes In-Flight Disruption with Unwanted Singing on Delta Airlines

On a Delta Airlines flight, US gospel artist Bobbi Storm found herself in trouble with a flight attendant after insisting on serenading fellow passengers.

The incident was captured in a video posted on Storm’s Instagram account.

The video begins with a Delta flight attendant politely asking Storm to return to her seat. Despite complying, Storm takes the opportunity to introduce herself to nearby passengers, proudly announcing her recent Grammy nominations and sharing the titles of her songs. The flight attendant intervenes, requesting her to be quiet.

An irritated Storm asserts that the passengers are enjoying her singing, to which the flight attendant bluntly responds, “Well, I’m not enjoying it. Can you please be quiet?” Storm questions whether she will go to jail for not complying, prompting the flight attendant to ask a simple yes-or-no question: “Are you willing and able to be quiet right now?”

Ignoring the direct query, Storm turns to fellow passengers for support, only to be met with silence. Frustrated, the flight attendant informs her that she won’t be allowed to stay on the flight if she cannot be quiet. In response, Storm backs off, conceding to the flight attendant’s instructions.

Even after the flight attendant walks away, Storm can’t resist the urge to perform. However, she does so in a much lower voice. In a follow-up video, Storm claims that Delta Airlines reached out to apologize, declaring the matter closed and giving glory to God for the resolution.

The video of the incident has circulated widely on social media, with many expressing disapproval of Storm’s actions. One Instagram user criticized her apparent egotism, suggesting she believed Grammy nominations exempted her from following the rules. On Twitter, another user commented that while Storm’s intentions may be good, the timing and place were inappropriate.

In a subsequent statement, a Delta representative emphasized the importance of following crew instructions for the safety of customers and crew. The airline acknowledged contact with Storm but reiterated the need for adherence to guidelines.

Storm, featured on Maverick City’s Grammy-nominated album “The Maverick Way,” emphasized in a statement that her intentions were to spread love and not to annoy fellow passengers. Despite the controversy, she expressed gratitude to Delta executives for reaching out and making amends.

This incident shows the delicate balance between individual expression and respecting the shared space on a commercial flight.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

- We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?

If you are not a Christian, and would like to become a Christian. Simply say - "LORD Jesus, thank you for forgiving me of my SINs, today I am deciding to follow you. Accept me into your family, in Jesus name I pray. Amen "
