ABC Family’s “The Fosters” Season 2
Christian Post Report – The second season of the hit family drama TV series “The Fosters” is already nearing its end and spoiler reports hinted that the drama and intrigue will escalate even further in preparation for yet another exciting brand new third season of the show.
A synopsis for this week’s segment titled “Not That Kind of Girl” was posted on The Futon Critic and it reveals that Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) will be having a hard time confronting the “uncomfortable truths of their past,” Mariana worrying about Ana’s baby, Jude (Hayden Byerly) suffering the mishaps of his choices and Lena’s (Sherri Saum) issues at home.
“Callie meets another roadblock in her pursuit of a happier future, leading her to confront past demons. Mariana, troubled by the uncertain future of Ana’s baby, follows up on a letter Ana wrote to relatives. Meanwhile, Jude faces the painful fallout of a bad decision. Lena confides in Monte about her difficulties at home,” the full summary reads.
A report from Screen Fad meanwhile shared information about the show’s upcoming Season Finale titled “The End of the Beginning” which is slated to air next Monday, March 23.
The synopsis from SF reads:
“With one too many lies told in an effort to keep their growing family together, relationships will be put to the test and someone’s story will end in tragedy. A visit with Robert’s father (Patrick Duffy) makes Robert and Callie see each other in a new light. Mariana prepares for a make-or-break dance team showdown at school, and Jude takes a stand for a friend.”
For the meantime, “The Fosters” Season 2 airs tonight with penultimate episode titled “Not That Kind of Girl” at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
