Christian Post Report – Before 2014 ended, LG announced an Android-powered smartphone with a unique feature – animated eyes.
Since its initial launch, the LG AKA has only been available in South Korea. However, it seems LG is looking to make a big splash in the international market as well.
According to a report by Phone Arena, the Android handset will soon become available in the international market. Some countries that will be getting the device in a few weeks include Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Turkey.
While the LG AKA may look like an ordinary phone, it transforms instantly when placed on a specially designed phone case. Its main selling point is the animated eyes that appear and “interact” with the consumers.
Some of the things that the “eyes” react on include incoming calls, appointments or meetings, and messages.
For interested buyers, the LG AKA is strictly a midranger, if not an entry-level device. It boasts a 5-inch display with HD or 1280 x 720 resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and a 1.5GB RAM.
Other specs include an 8MP primary shooter at the back and a 2MP front camera. The device will come with a 16GB built in memory, as well as a microSD card slot.
In the report, the new LG AKA bound for India will come in a number of color options such as Yello, White, Navy and Pink.
The device may feature entry-level specs, but its pricing is slightly on the expensive threshold with $310 unlocked.
