Christian Post Report – Issues in the hit family TV drama series “The Fosters” has got even more complicated as it approaches its spring finale of its second season.
Spoiler report from Entertainment Weekly points out Callie Jacob’s (Maia Mitchell) on-going strife with her biological father, Robert Quinn (Kerr Smith). Robert has been on the trail to get full custody of Callie but apparently, she, Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) don’t want that to happen.
But things are about to complicate in this upcoming episode. The publication indicated that her biological grandfather, Robert Quinn Sr. (guest star Patrick Duffy) will swing by to make the matters worse for Callie.
Aside from the custody issue, a report from Carter Matt also pointed out Callie’s relationship with her biological half-sister, Sophia (Bailee Madison), whom fans hadn’t seen for quite some time.
The media outlet then cited a sneak peek for the upcoming episode where Sophia was seen “genuinely happy” to see Callie.
Fans have been wondering the situation between the two but according to Cater Matt, the two might not still be in good terms.
“It would be wrong to even expect for them to be in the first place. There is a whole lot of healing that still needs to be done here, and you cannot blink your eyes and expect for it to all be done,” the publication wrote.
Meanwhile, a synopsis for the episode titled “The End of the Beginning” teases that “someone’s story will end in tragedy.” Who could that be?
Viewers will find out when “The Fosters” Season 2 airs this Monday, March 23 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
