Christian Post Report – The LG G4 may be too late to compete with other high-end devices from Samsung, HTC and Huawei, which have been announced earlier in March. However, that does not mean it will just succumb to the competition.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the new LG flagship model would be announced a month earlier than previously expected.
The report came from industry sources in Korea, claiming that LG’s newest high-end device would be announced by the end of April, and should be available shortly after.
If these details are true, then it would have taken the Korean manufacturer just 10 months to release a brand new device.
Based on previous reports, the LG G4 will boast a 5″ or 5.5″ display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution. Considering the fact that the LG G3 had a QHD screen, it only makes sense that its successors would have the same screen resolution as well.
Leaked images also showed that the device will boast a metal-like finish. It is still unclear whether it is indeed aluminum, or just a brushed metal finish on top of a polycarbonate plastic body.
Rounding up the rumored specs is the “curved touch” feature.
In the report, LG made a bold target, claiming that it would be able to sell 9.2 million phones this year. Unfortunately, it has not yet unveiled any high-end devices just yet.
