Christian Post Report – The new James Bond “Spectre” trailer was released Friday showing the suave spy master on a mysterious quest at his family’s old estate.
The 24th James Bond film “Spectre” has just given audiences an eerie look at a dark and baffling quest 007 has set himself to solve involving Skyfall, his family’s torched estate in Scotland.
The teaser’s somber and moody atmosphere sets the tone for what may very well be an unwanted discovery about James Bond’s past.
Daniel Craig, in what many say is his last turn as 007, sifts through personal effects found in the burned ruins in his family’s lands, turning up a photograph of a female adult holding the hands of two boys, one of which has his face burned off.
Could James Bond have had a sibling?
“You’ve got a secret,” Eve Monepenny, played by Naomie Harris from the previous Bond film, “Skyfall” says ominously in the trailer. “Something you can’t tell anyone, because you don’t trust anyone.”
At the end of the trailer, Bond finds himself in an exclusive enclave surrounded by sinister figures, and a voice calls out from the shadows welcoming him, chiding him for staying away so long.
With the critical and commercial success of “Skyfall” in 2012, 007 fans and movie audiences are expecting great things from “Spectre when it opens in theaters in November 6 this year.
“Skyfall’s” cast is returning to join Craig in the upcoming film, including Ralph Fiennes, who takes over from Dame Judi Dench as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q. New faces to the franchise will include the two Bond women, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux, as well as Oscar Winner Christoph Waltz and Dave Bautista as the villains in the story.
