Christian Post Report – Combining the latest in color display technology with stylish and sophisticated design: the SUHD TV from Samsung. Samsung TV Facebook page. April 3, 2015.

Samsung recently introduced their family of curved TVs at a New York event Thursday.

Initially revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, Samsung revealed the price range and details of their new 4K SUHD curved monitors at New York’s Rainbow Room April 2.

Touted to take display technology up several notches, the South Korean electronics conglomerate will be selling their 23.6-inch black framed model at $299.99, the 27-inch white framed model for $399.99, the 31.5-inch black framed model for $599.99, the 40-inch model for $949.99, and their 78-inch model for up to $9,999.99.

With the new curved monitors in its SUHD line, Samsung is set to offer more computing and PC gaming options to customers with its use of “nano-crystal” technology offering more brightness, a wider color range, and some of the deepest blacks seen on LED displays.

Powered by a Tizen operating system, the entire SUHD range runs on an octa-core processor. Smartphone users who own one of Samsung’s Galaxy handsets can even use their phones as SUHD TV remotes.

The curved screen has also been designed to match the natural curve of the eyes so users needn’t have to keep focusing on the screen’s edges. They come complete with an Eye-Saver Mode to reduce the damaging effects of TV’s blue light output after long hours of usage. It also features Flicker Free technology to lessen eye strain from traditional screen flickering.

Samsung’s curved display will soon be making its way to its computer monitors, laptops, desktops, and gaming devices.

Gaming devices, in particular, will benefit from the curved screen’s Game Mode, which improves dark scenes in gameplay. Its 4-millisecond response time ensures the absence of motion blur for fast-paces gaming scenes, as well.

Samsung’s SUHD curved monitors will be available in stores by May 2015.
