Three months after the official unveiling of the device at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Christian Post Report – Asus Zenfone 2 lineup of smartphones is now arriving to its target markets.
A few weeks ago, the device was made available in the company’s home markets in Taiwan and China. And contrary to previous reports, the device may be hitting Western markets initially, particularly the EU, before other Asian countries.
According to the report by TheFuseJoplin on Monday, the Christian Post Report – Asus Zenfone 2 devices are available to purchase in Europe, with pricing costs beginning at only 179 euros.
While this pricing is still pretty expensive, considering the original price tag of the new Zenfones in Asia, it can still be considered cheap, especially taking note of its specs.
While the Christian Post Report – Asus Zenfone 2 was seemingly announced as a single device, it is in fact a lineup of several Android-powered devices.
The highest-end model is the ZE550ML which packs a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a quad-core Intel Atom chipset, a whopping 4GB of RAM, a 13MP primary camera, 32GB of built-in storage, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Based on the report, this model costs just 349 euros in the EU.
Meanwhile, other versions of the Christian Post Report – Asus Zenfone 2 have varying amounts of RAM and built-in storage, different levels of frequency, camera and display resolution, etc.
In another report by the International Business Times, the popular Asus handset will become available in Malaysia beginning April 21.
