Rumors that have been proliferating for a while indicates that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield’s relationship may have finally come to its end. The stars had allegedly been having problems.
“They had been fighting a lot and they hadn’t seen each other,” a source told Hollywood Life. “They have both been working but they weren’t getting along.”
However, fans of the Hollywood couple shouldn’t necessarily rule it as a split.
E! Online quoted their own insiders saying that Stone and Garfield may be on a break “but they do not appear to have officially split up.”
“We’re told that Stone and Garfield remain very friendly and on good terms, so the break appears to be connected to actual physical distance, the two having to spend a lot of time apart because of work,” the site claimed.
The “break-up” story sprung up a couple of weeks ago when the 26-year-old actress has been seen walking on red carpet events without the 31-year-old “The Amazing Spider-Man” co-star and boyfriend of three years beside her.
The last time they were reportedly spotted together was on Jan. 5 this year, during a Fox Searchlight dinner for “Birdman” in New York City.
Another source for E! reiterates the idea that although they weren’t been together much lately, it doesn’t necessarily mean that everything’s over between them.
The “Zombieland” star is reportedly set to appear with actor Bradley Cooper in Cameron Crowe’s “Aloha.” Garfield, meanwhile, is currently in Taiwan for a Martin Scorsese film titled “Silence.”
