Topic: He Inspires Excellence [Thursday, 5th October, 2017]

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Job 32:8

There is one thing about the life of God in us, it does not accommodate mediocrity. God has never been mediocre in His dealings, and there is no iota of mediocrity in His nature. And it is this very nature that we have. It is not in our nature to even settle for average, we always demand the best. That’s because the Spirit in us always inspires excellence. Scriptures said in Isaiah 4:2 that “…the branch of the LORD shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent…” This is a wonderful testimony about us. The fruits that we will produced shall be excellent, because we are the branch of the Lord. Glory to God.

If you know how the connection between the vine of a tree and the branches works, you will know that it is the vine that gives the main nutrient to the branch to produce leaves and fruits. The vine inspires the process. And we know that Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches. The life of Jesus in us supplies the nutrient for our fruits, the tangible and intangible things that we produce, to be excellent. Every supply of Jesus only inspires excellence. It cannot go below that. This should inspire us to do the things we do. We’ve got the excellent Spirit of God in us.

One way God inspires excellence in us is through the availability of His wisdom. His wisdom profits us by guiding us on the path of excellence. His wisdom that isn’t of this world is at work in us and it’s fruits are evident in our lives. Never think below who God has made you to be. Your fruits are excellent. The Spirit of wisdom in you inspires excellence. You are a wonder to your world and so are the things you produce and do.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

The Spirit of God is at work in me. His wisdom inspires me to produce excellent things that blesses my sphere of influence. I do not settle for less than excellent. Mediocrity is abhorrent with me. I am am consistently excellent, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
