President Donald Trump signed an executive order yesterday that will help relieve some of the burdens of the Affordable Care Act, making good on promises he made to Americans on the campaign trail.

In the past several months, Trump has also forged ahead with decisive actions on important issues such as the restoration of religious liberties, the representation of conservative views on the Supreme Court and the protection of the sanctity of life.

Award-winning journalist and author Stephen E. Strang says his interaction with the president—both as leader of the free world and a presidential candidate—has taught him that when Donald Trump makes a promise, he delivers.

Strang’s new book, God and Donald Trump, will be released in less than a month and reveals the strategies, behind-the-scenes activity and profound voices that helped shape the dramatic events of the election and presidency thus far.

“During the presidential debates, Donald Trump very wisely reaffirmed his commitment to making health care affordable and accessible again, appointing strong conservative jurists to the Supreme Court, overturning Roe v. Wade, and restoring religious freedoms for pastors, churches and everyday believers,” Strang said of Trump’s promises. “Those statements struck home with a lot of Christian voters and influenced thousands who had been skeptical to give Trump a chance. His evangelical support began to grow daily, and as it turned out, the evangelical vote accounted for nearly a third of all the votes cast for Trump.
