Actress Alyssa Milano started a Twitter debate with Senator Ted Cruz on the Bible and the Second Amendment following three gun attacks over the Labor Day weekend, according to the Christian Post.
The controversy began after a gunman killed seven people and injured 22 others in West Texas on Saturday. Texas state Sen. Matt Schaefer tweeted after the attacks: “I am NOT going to use the evil acts of a handful of people to diminish the God-given rights of my fellow Texans…YES to your God-given, constitutionally protected rights. YES to God, and NO to more government intrusions.”
