It’s rare that the sounds of a heavenly choir singing blissfully meets you in your
dream. For Kossi Bruno however, this method of receiving inspiration seems to be a
regular occurrence.
“I didn’t know I had these gifts, until I gave my life fully to God.” says the electrifying
songwriter and producer. “Come to Jerusalem was just one of the many songs that I
heard in my sleep.”
Now, after a multitude of astonishing spiritual encounters, Bruno is ready to share his story through this latest album.
Testimony of Songs is an inspiring gospel album with thirteen songs on healing, faith and divine deliverance – to name a few themes. This album features songs performed by his local church group, BBG Worship, Sarah Téibo, Jnr Robinson and many more talented artists. This project is one that comes from the heart and is fuelled with songs to inspire listeners whilst giving glory to the Most High. Born out of a love for Christ and the desire to advance the kingdom of God, the highly anticipated album is already set to make lasting impact.
Speaking on the many inspirations behind his new album, Bruno said:
“Some of the songs take me back over ten years ago. Into my teenage years and my experience back then when I was ill and struggling. I didn’t know whether I would make it and mysteriously through prayer, I was healed and delivered.”
“One of the songs in the album, ‘God of Miracles’, was written when my dad was in
hospital in his last days. It features Junior Robinson and my guitarist Ken McFarlene
who had a very strong connection to the song because he was also battling with a
terminal illness that eventually took his life. He’s in heaven right now and through this
album, I’m confident that his sound can heal many others.”
