Hi.
Without knowing all things one cannot always give guidance except for through the leading of the holy Spirit however respectfully there can be any reason for the change and we must walk in the Spirit in all things including the way things look.

I once asked God to get get rid of whoever should not be in the Church and He cleared it. I mean CLEARED which is not an understatement at all.

It is possible that God has put out those who were or would have been destructive. When Israel lost a battle against Ai, it was because of one bad transgressor, therefore they would have been stronger in war without him.

The question is, why have people left?
If people left for example:
They did not like the preaching style, the changes of service times and people being given new or different duties they have deserted the Church in battle instead of uniting. The question then becomes their motives. Wrong motives can cause people to become the adversaries gateway to the fellowship as can weakness.

Seat fillers are dead weight and often cause the fellowship to be weak.

As disheartening as it may be, there’s times people just have to move on or a spring clean needs to take place, not based on “this is how we used to do it”, or “she’s been there for years, how could she leave, we love her” etc.. then these are not the things to look at.

this is a time to seek the Lord not for what the Church wants but to find out what “His” will is.

Its not about numbers. Better 100 strong genuine saints…
