The CW’s “The 100”

Christian Post Report – Things are getting more intense and exciting as the second season of the hit post-apocalyptic TV drama series “The 100” is now closing on its finale with the first part episode titled “Blood Must Have Blood.”

Guest cast member Alycia Debnam-Carey revealed some interesting details about the relationship which is expected to come more into play between Lexa and Clarke (Eliza Taylor).

As detailed out by the Australian actress, there are actually a lot of similarities linking between the two characters and that they both have so much to learn from each other.

“They’ve both lost ex-loves. Lexa’s lost Costia and Clarke’s lost Finn and so in many ways they both have been called to similar positions. And I think that’s such a great bond,” Carey explained.

“I think Clarke brings a very new perspective which is refreshing and attractive. So it’s a lovely friendship, as well, that we see growing too. It’s an interesting time for Lexa because she can start opening up a little bit, which is obviously very hard for her,” she went on to say.

Eric Goldman of IGN went on to probe with the cast member to ask what fans should expect in the 2-part finale episode to which the actress teases a lot of “twists and turns.”

“There’s always many twists and turns in this show and I obviously don’t want to spoil anything, so I think you’ll just have to watch and find out. But there are definitely exciting things that are going to happen and a lot of maybe unexpected things too,” Carey said.

Meanwhile, a synopsis for this week’s segment was posted on The Futon Critic where it reads:

“Clarke and Lexa prepare for battle, while Raven (Lindsey Morgan) and Wick (guest star Steve Talley) experience a major setback. Meanwhile, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) and Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) are each forced to make a difficult decision. At Mount Weather, Jasper (Devon Bostick) and Maya (guest star Eve Harlow) witness a horrible act, Bellamy (Bob Morley) follows through on a promise and Cage (guest star Johnny Whitworth) goes public with powerful information.”

“The 100” Season 2 Finale Episode part 1 airs this Wednesday, March 4 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
