Christian Post Report – Manchester United’s Robin van Persie reacts after their English Premier League soccer match against Everton at Goodison Park in Liverpool, northern England, August 20, 2012.

Today’s big game sees the fourth placed Manchester United taking on the 5th placed Liverpool. There are just two points separating the two teams with Liverpool on 54 points from their 29 games so far, and United on 56 points from their 29 games.

That means whoever claims the win today will finish the weekend in the all important fourth spot, which is the final place that would secure a place in next season’s Champions League from the EPL.

In team news, Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has been out for five weeks with a groin injury, and although reports have confirmed he has started training again, he may not be ready to be thrown in at the deep end with a game against United.

Striker Mario Balotelli will be available following his illness, which kept him out from his side’s win over Swansea earlier in the week.

For Manchester United, midfielder Angel Di Maria is back after a one-match ban, and defenders Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo could return after injury but neither will start.

Liverpool have been in good form against United in recent years and have lost only one of their last seven meetings against the Manchester team, winning five, drawing one, and losing one through that span.

Fans can expect a clear result today with only one draw between these two teams in their last 18 league games against one another.

Today’s big game between Liverpool and Manchester United will kick off at 1.30 p.m. GMT (9.30 a.m. ET) and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
