The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Miami Heat at the Quicken Loans Arena in the NBA regular season. The match is on April 2, 2015 and tip-off is at 8 p.m. ET.
Christian Post Report – This is a highly-anticipated battle as the two teams are currently on the same course to meet in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Cleveland are second in the East, while their rivals are holding on to the seventh seed but the underdogs have had the best of the title favourites so far.
In their previous three meetings this season, the Heat have won twice, with the teams winning when playing as hosts.
When they first played in December, Dwyane Wade scored 31 points and grabbed five rebounds in the 101-91 victory. Luol Deng added 25 while shooting 11-of-16 from the field and added eight rebounds.
In a losing effort, LeBron James scored 30 points and grabbed four rebounds in 41 minutes on the court. Star guard Kyrie Irving helped with 25 points but the Cavs lacked contribution from other players as they could not make up the deficit they surrendered early in the game.
However, they got their revenge in the next game as seven players scored in double figures for the Cavs in a 113-93 victory. Timofey Mozgov led the team in scoring with 20 points, while James had a near triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in the victory.
The Heat played without Wade and got their contributions from Mario Chalmers with 18, while Hassan Whiteside scored 17 and grabbed 14 rebounds in only 29 minutes on the floor. They were still extremely efficient as they drained 55 percent of their shots from the field while limiting Cleveland to only 38 percent.
Just like the first game, the Heat dominated when they played in Florida, again winning while going away 106-92 with Wade scoring 32 points while shooting an impressive 72 percent from the field.
