Christian Post Report – It is one of the most exciting derbies in English football as Manchester United host neighbors Manchester City at Old Trafford in the English Premier League on Sunday. Kick off is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET and the game can be watched online through live stream (details below).

The race for the Premier League title may almost be over already with Chelsea having a comfortable lead heading into the final stages of the season, but the race for UEFA Champions League spots are still up for grabs, and there is a fierce battle for top four spots.

United and City are currently only separated by one point, with United holding third place with 62 points, and City in fourth place, meaning they currently are occupying the final qualifying spot for next year’s top European competition. Although if they finish fourth, City will have a more difficult route, having to take part in earlier Champions League games just to get through to the main group stages.

The Red Devils have been impressive lately, winning five straight league games and only losing once in their last 10.

They showed their strength in a big game against Liverpool where they won 2-1 behind a brace from Juan Mata.

The win gave them breathing space against their rivals in the Champions League spot but a win at Aston Villa propelled them to even greater heights.

In the 3-1 victory at home, Ander Herrera played the hero as he opened the scoring for the Red Devils.

Wayne Rooney also scored before Herrera completed his brace as he scored in injury time to get maximum points.

A win over City would see them create even more space between themselves and City and even start to challenge Arsenal for second on the table.

Meanwhile, City have been dropping games since their 5-0 thrashing of Newcastle United.

Following that win, they lost to Liverpool, Burnley and Crystal Palace.

The upset loss to Palace cost them their automatic spot in the Champions League, and another loss to United may put them on pace to miss out on next year’s elite competition.

When United and City met earlier this season, City won a close 1-0 match at the Etihad Stadium thanks to Sergio Aguero’s goal in the 63rd minute.
