Pastor Mark Burns of Harvest Praise and Worship Center in Easley, South Carolina, says he saved U.S. President Donald Trump from a poisonous spider bite when he was in the Oval Office earlier this week.
Burns posted an 11-minute video on Twitter Wednesday where he revealed that the incident took place on Monday, when he and a group of evangelical leaders presented Trump with the “Friends of Zion” Award for his decision last week to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The pastor, who has been a strong supporter of the president, explained that he was at the Oval Office to present Trump with the award for “his courageousness,” when in his peripheral vision he saw a movement going up Trump’s back.
“It was this massive, huge white spider. And it was darting toward the back of his neck,” Burns recalled.
He thought to himself, “can anyone else see this?”
