5 Christian Athletes to Follow in the 2018 Winter Olympics

The 2018 Winter Olympics start Friday with some 3,000 athletes from around the world vying for medals.

Athletes are heading into the PyeongChang, South Korea games primed for competition, but many say they are also taking their faith to the slopes and ice.

Here are five Christian athletes on the U.S. team hoping for Olympic gold.

1. Elena Meyers-Taylor, Women’s Bobsled


Leading the women’s bobsled team, Elana Meyers-Taylor is hoping for her third Olympic medal. The team won bronze in 2010 and silver in 2014.
