Memorise: “Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.” – Isaiah 35:3
(Give strength to hands that are tired and to knees that tremble with weakness. GNT)

Read: Matthew 15:1-2

1.Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2.Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

Bible In One Year: Joshua 14-15, Luke 4:33-44

MESSAGE:

Bullying is intentionally abusing, intimidating or aggressively dominating someone else. Bullies are those who chose to make other people feel unsafe and afraid. The most common type of bullying is physical bullying like picking on someone obviously smaller than you and beating them up. But there is also another form of bullying, that you must be aware of and desist from. This is verbal bullying, it is intentionally saying hateful and hurtful things about someone, it also involves intentionally spreading rumours, persistent teasing and name calling.

You must always remember that God loves everyone on earth and he cares very deeply for everyone of us. It is with this same love and care that God expects us to treat everyone we meet. In fact, when you decide to treat people badly, God is unhappy (Matthew 25:34-44). You are to be good to everyone, you are to treat everyone with respect and honour. As Christian, you are the one to stand up against bullies. You should be fighting for and shielding the weak around you.

Key Point:Make it a point of duty to treat everyone you meet with love and respect.

Hymn 13:

1. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is the love of God flowing through you?
Are you telling the lost of the Savior?
Are you ready His service to do?

Chorus:
Make me a channel of blessing today,
Make me a channel of blessing, I pray;
My life possessing, my service blessing,
Make me a channel of blessing today.

2. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Are you burdened for those that are lost?
Have you urged upon those who are straying
The Savior who does on the cross

3. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is it a daily telling for Him?
Have you spoken the word of salvation?
To those who are dying in sin?

4. We cannot be channels of blessing
If our lives are not free from sin;
We will barriers be and a hindrance
To those we are trying to win.
