Muslims in Nigeria, all members of Boko Haram, have been forcing Christian children to watch their own parents get slaughtered right before their eyes. This was reported in a recent Christian conference in Nigeria between church leaders.
In the conference it was declared in a statement that “in territories controlled by Boko Haram that the insurgents slaughter Christian parents and brothers in the presence of their wives and children.”
This is part of a major plan to systematically exterminate Christians, as was made clear in the conference.
In the meeting “Bishop Shehaan Pastorial Center, the Christian leaders, in a communiqué issued signed by the Catholic Bishop of Yola, Stephen Dami Mamza, Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, LCCN’s Archbishop, Nemuel Babba; Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria, EYN President, Samuel Dali Danti; and LCCN Bishop, Amos Yakubu” all agreed that Christians are being systematically exterminated in Nigeria.

Kentucky Baptists yesterday voted to expel a Louisville church which is open to performing and holding same-sex marriage ceremonies.
During the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s annual meeting on Tuesday, church leaders from around the state decided to sever ties with Crescent Hill Baptist Church. Executive director of the convention Paul Chitwood said: “We’re all sinners and we recognize that, but for a church to say ‘we’re going to endorse the sin, we’re going to call what the Bible calls wrong, [and] call it right’, that becomes the issue.”
Crescent Hill’s website states that the church believes “God loves all people without condition” and says it is “a diverse community of faith including people of various races, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation, and world-views.”

A historic church in Syria dedicated to the one and a half million Armenians murdered by the Turks in 1915 has reportedly been reduced to rubble by Islamists.
According to The Independent, the destruction of the Armenian church in the eastern city of Deir el-Zour appears to have been committed by Jabhat al-Nusra rebels.
Irreplaceable archives dating back to 1841 – shortly before the church’s 1846 construction – and which included documents on the Armenian genocide have been reduced to ashes.
In a further act of insult, the bones of hundreds of genocide victims have reportedly been removed from the crypt and strewn on the street outside.
Overseer of the Armenian church in the Deir el-Zour district, Monsignor Antranik Ayvazian, told The Independent’s Robert Fisk that the militants tried to use the church as leverage, promising not to destroy the priceless archive if he in return acknowledged them as the legislative authority in the area.

The black and white ISIS flag has come to symbolise terror and inhumanity across the Middle East but churches in Australia are putting their own spin on it to use it for good.
That’s thanks to a new poster by Outreach Media based on the challenging command from Jesus to love our enemies, even when that enemy is an outfit as brutal and merciless as ISIS.
On first sight, the poster looks like the ISIS flag but look a little closer and you’ll see it replaces the Arabic text of the original with the words of Jesus telling his followers to “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” – Matthew 5.44.
The original ISIS flag declares: “There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
Outreach Media has made this its November poster in the hopes that it will “contrast the love of Christ with the … cruel behaviour of ISIS”.

Christian groups in North Korea are vowing to carry on their missionary work despite mounting risks since Korean-American activist Kenneth Bae was imprisoned two years ago.
North Korea and neighbouring China have clamped down on the groups’ activities recently, and the organisations say that has forced them to become more secretive. Bae’s unexpected release has not changed that.
“We are getting more nervous,” said Kim Seung-eun, a missionary for the Caleb Mission, which is based in South Korea’s South Chungcheong Province but frequently travels to North Korea. “We have to come up with a strategy to avoid another case like Kenneth Bae’s.”

Intimate messaging with strangers on WhatsApp has led to an increase in divorce rates in Italy, according to a leading Italian lawyer.
“Forty percent of divorce cases that cited adultery have used WhatsApp messages swapped by unfaithful spouses and their lovers as evidence,” Gian Ettore Gassani, president of the Italian Association of Matrimonial Lawyers, was quoted as having said in the Times of London.
“Social media has boosted betrayal in Italy by making it easier, first through texting, then Facebook, and now WhatsApp, which is being used widely and has encouraged the return of the Latin lover,” he added.
“Lovers can now exchange intimate photos of themselves and we have seen adulterers using the service to maintain three or four relationships. It is like dynamite,” Gassani said.
In Italy, WhatsApp is the most popular messaging service.
A 2012 survey found that 88 percent of the instant messaging market was captured by it.
“The family here is the cornerstone of society, but it has been under attack for years and WhatsApp is the final straw,” said Gassani.

The Kellogg’s cereal company is experiencing a backlash from Christian consumers who claim they’ll no longer buy the company’s products after it helped sponsor the Atlanta gay pride march in mid-October by using the beloved Frosted Flakes mascot, Tony the Tiger, in a pro-LGBT advertisement in the event’s pride guide.
“Wear your stripes with pride,” the Kellogg’s ad states, highlighting the word “pride” in large-font rainbow-colored letters, while Tony the Tiger stands to the right with his arms crossed and a familiar smile on his face.
The American Family Association, a traditional Christian values activist group, posted a picture of the Tony the Tiger advertisement to its Facebook page last Friday and since then, the post has received over 800 comments. Many of the comments were highly critical of the company for using a cartoon character to promote homosexuality, while a number of other commenters stated that Kellogg’s has no place, as a food manufacturer, to weigh in on sexual preference.
“Our policy toward corporate America and companies that serve the public is that we ask them to remain neutral in this battle over same-sex marriage,” Ed Vitagliano, research director for AFA, told The Christian Post on Tuesday.
