Exhausted Church Army worker in Tube feat

John Vivian from north east London completed his objective of going to all 270 stops on the network in 17 hours, four minutes and 36 seconds.

The 27 year old from Woodford told Premier: “I’ve now raised almost £600 for Church Army’s work and I’m more proud of this than the actual achievement completing the Tube Challenge.”

John was inspired to undertake the challenge after recently visiting Church Army’s project in Marylebone, the biggest women’s homeless project in the country.

 

Setting off from Chesham station in Buckinghamshire at 5:12am on Saturday, John needed to run between a number of stations which are located at the end of lines.

Covering a distance of nearly 15 miles by foot, John ended his challenge at Heathrow Terminal 5’s Tube station at soon after 10pm.
