TOPIC: Heaven’s Annex (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 3 May 2019)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Kings 14-15; Luke 22:3-46

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Psalm 24:1-10

MEMORY VERSE: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33

The MESSAGE:

In our Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught us to seek the kingdom and will of God on earth. In essence He is saying that you should ensure that your life on earth is a replication of what is happening in heaven. That is the reason why you were born: to be a citizen of heaven and God’s ambassador on earth.

This means that your life: body, soul and spirit, physical and spiritual environments are all God’s throne, and must be holy enough for God to want to inhabit (Isaiah 6:1; Revelation 4:2).

It also means that, just as in heaven, you of Heaven Annex on earth must seek to do the will of God at all times in your thoughts, words, actions, family, business, home, marriage: everywhere. Or is there an angel in heaven who would dare disobey or rebel against God? The only one who tried it is trembling with his gang as they await the day of judgement. God hates disobedience with a passion and if He did not spare an archangel, as a righteous God, He will not let the sinner go unpunished.

Citizenship of heaven means that, just as the place of Lucifer is no longer seen in heaven, satan’s place must not be seen in your life. In fact, Jesus tells us that though satan claims the earth as His territory, the only place reserved for him is underneath our feet (John 10:10). Yes, as a Christian, you are empowered to trample the god of this world under your feet.

As all ambassadors do, you are expected to connect to your Head of State all the time for briefing and instructions. Daily Bible reading and meditation plus ceaseless prayer is what you need for this. Just imagine, as a citizen of heaven and God’s ambassador on earth, you have many special privileges on earth, but the one I like most is the immunity from harassment from the law enforcement agents of the host country. Satan’s hosts cannot just invade your territory. If they do, there will be retaliatory war from Heaven! (Psalm 24:7-10).

Secondly, since you come from a richer country, even if there is a famine in your host country, your home country will keep you well supplied of the good things you need (Psalm 34:10).

Beloved, if you have not done so, I beg you, be quick and process your heaven’s citizenship papers through holy living, fear of God and total surrender. The King of kings is eagerly waiting to appoint you as His ambassador on earth.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
JESUS SAYS IF YOU SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS YOU WILL NOT LACK ANYTHING GOOD.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Receive the power to live a godly and righteous life.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. Lord, I glorify and adore You for counting me worthy to be a citizen of Your kingdom in heaven and on earth, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Almighty God, empower me to seek Your kingdom in all that I think, say or do, in the name of Jesus.
  3. I confess my sins and those of my parents and ancestors and plead the blood of Jesus to sanctify me and to keep me holy and worthy, in the name of Jesus.
    EVENING
  4. My Father, add fire to the shoes of iron You have given me to trample upon whatever wants to separate me from You, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Lord, I present my case before You today. Help me to deal with these issues in my life (name them), in the name of Jesus.
  6. Let all satanic gates blocking me from enjoying the dividends of Calvary be lifted up, in the name of Jesus.
  7. Father, make my own annex of heaven a place You will be proud to call Your throne, in the name of Jesus.

Daddy – Open Heavens for Teens 3 May 2019

Topic: Daddy [Open Heavens for Teens 3 May 2019]

Memorise: “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” – Galatians 4:6

Read: Galatians 4:4-7

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Bible In One Year: 1 Kings 6-7, Luke 23:27-38

MESSAGE:

After we became born again, God did not turn us into servants; 1 John 3:1-2 says that we have become sons of God. Believers in Christ are the only group of people who can call themselves children of their God. From the introduction of the Lord’s prayer in Matt. 6:9-13 (Our Father who art in heaven), there is no doubt that God is a Father to every believer, however, He is a Daddy to some.

Only a few people can call God Daddy. Many people call a man ‘father’, but it is only those who are close to him that will call him ‘daddy’. When you say ‘father’, it gives the impression of someone distant, but when you say ‘daddy’, it suggest one who is living and homely, with whom you can easily converse. You can cultivate your relationship with God to the point you begin to see God as your daddy who you can discuss anything with. The fellow who will can God Daddy will be God’s favourite, one that does His will and He is very pleased with. Do you prefer God as a Father or Daddy, the choice is yours.

Key Point: When you become born again, that makes God your Father. When you become His favourite, He becomes your Daddy.

Hymn 16:

1 I am so glad that our Father in heaven
Tells of His love in the book He has given;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see;
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

Chorus
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus love me;
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

2 Though I forget Him and wander away,
Still He doth love me whenever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms would I flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

3 Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song in eternity be,
“Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me.”

Topic: Divine Assessment of Giving (Open Heaven 3 May 2019)

Memorise: “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”- 2 Corinthians 9:7

Read: Mark 12:41-44 (KJV)

41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.

43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Bible in One Year: Genesis 46-47, Jeremiah 29:24-30:9

Open Heaven 3 May 2019 Friday MESSAGE:

Many children of God are losing a lot, either because they do not know the Scriptures enough or fail to apply what they know from it. Like Abraham the father of faith, some of them who are millionaires today would have graduated to the level of being billionaire, but they have not moved to that level because they feel they are already doing enough in the area of giving when compared to what others are giving. They do not know that God’s assessment of giving is different from the way people see it. Although today’s memory verse encourages us to be cheerful givers, we should also be conscious of the fact that God is the one who gives commendation for our offerings, and His commendations is not based on how much is given but how much remains after giving! This is clearly seen in today’s Bible reading. Many well-to-do folks among the brethren would be amazed to discover that in spite of the millions they are giving, through commendable, many brethren who are less endowed are actually out-giving them in the sight of God!

Contrary to the misguided opinion of some people, God is actually interested in what we give. In Mark 12:41, Jesus Christ personally observed the offertory in the synagogue, so much so that He knew how many mites the widow dropped in the offering box! I would like to point out here that not all widows are poor. There are actually multi-millionaire widows in our society. However, we are very sure that the widow referenced in today’s Bible reading was poor. We need to get this distinction right because there are certain widows in the Church today who are not supposed to queue up for charity whenever it is being distributed, but they do so. Such charity is meant for the poor among widows. Another lesson we should learn in today’s Bible reading is that in spite of all those who gave fat offerings, heaven commended the poor widow’s giving as being the most sacrificial of all. Let those who specialize in taking offering beware of making uncomplimentary remarks against those who give “tattered notes”, because that might be all that they have!

Beloved, the amount you have left in your storehouse after you have given to God determines your score card in His presence. I pray that you will not only give cheerfully from today but you will also begin to give bountifully, and you will not miss your reward in Jesus’s Name.

Open Heaven 3 May 2019 Friday Action Point:

Whenever you are giving to God, always consider what you are holding back to determine how sacrificial your giving is to the Almighty God, who gives power to make wealth.

Open Heaven 3 May 2019 Friday Hymn 4: Take My Life, And Let It Be

1 Take my life and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in endless praise,
Let them flow in endless praise.

2 Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee,
Swift and beautiful for Thee.

3 Take my voice and let me sing,
Always, only for my King.
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee,
Filled with messages from Thee.

4 Take my silver and my gold,
Not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use
Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose,
Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose.

5 Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is Thine own,
It shall be Thy royal throne,
It shall be Thy royal throne.

6 Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself and I will be
Ever, only, all for Thee,
Ever, only, all for Thee.

Terrorists Execute Six Christians in West African Protestant Church

Terrorists Execute Six Christians in West African Protestant Church

Six Christians were executed in a West African church on Sunday after they refused to convert to Islam.

According to Christianity Today, several armed motorcyclists opened fire on the Assemblies of God church in a Burkina Faso on Sunday killing six people, including the church’s long-time pastor Pierre Ouédraogo, after they refuse to deny their Christian faith.

Christianity Today reports that the gunmen also looped the church and burned its pulpit.

The Assemblies of God church in a Burkina Faso was founded in the 1980s and is considered one of the oldest Protestant congregations in the region.

Pastor Ouédraogo had served as the pastor of the Burkina Faso Assemblies of God church since it was founded some forty years ago.

Reportedly, before the attack, the pastor feared that the church might be in danger since it is located near the Mali border, which has been a center for conflict for some time.

Despite this, Ouédraogo was determined to stay in the community and continue to share the word of God in the Burkina Faso village.

In a statement from the general superintendent of the Assemblies of God in Burkina Faso, Michel Ouédraogo, the pastor’s family said of Pierre Ouédraogo, “he prefers to die for his faith rather than leave the village where he has served for nearly 40 years.”

According to the Associated Press, no one has immediately…

Dad Faces Arrest if He Tries to Stop His Child’s Transgender Treatments

Dad Faces Arrest if He Tries to Stop His Child’s Transgender Treatments

A Canadian court is threatening a father with arrest if he calls his transgender teen by the child’s birth name, uses the wrong pronoun, or attempts to dissuade the teen from hormone treatments.

It is the latest chapter in a transgender legal case involving a father who opposes hormone injections for his biological daughter and a mother and medical community who support them.

The 14-year-old biological girl wants to become a boy. The father, known in court documents under the pseudonym “Clark,” believes his child may regret the treatments when reaching adulthood, as sometimes happens. His child is referenced as “Max” or “Maxine” in court documents, depending on the gender.

The order by British Columbia Justice Francesca V. Marzari forbids Clark from “attempting to persuade” Maxine “to abandon treatment for gender dysphoria.” It further orders him not to use Maxine’s “birth name” or refer to Maxine “as a girl or with female pronouns.” The order also prevents Clark from speaking to the media about the case.

Violating the order, Marzari wrote, can result in immediate arrest. Marzari is a member of the British Columbus Supreme Court, an intermediate court. The highest provincial court is the Court of Appeals.

“Disobeying this order is a criminal offence,” the order states.

The father has given interviews to…

Hundreds Gather to Read Bible for 90 Hours on Steps of U.S. Capitol

Hundreds Gather to Read Bible for 90 Hours on Steps of U.S. Capitol

During a contentious week in the Nation’s Capitol—which saw lawmakers grilling Attorney General William Barr over the contested Muller report—hundreds of citizens gathered on the steps to read the Bible in a marathon 90-hour session.

The annual event began on Sunday and takes place around the clock, rain or shine.

“We had a lady last night that was on standby from Alabama and flew in just to read, and she left back out at 6 a.m. this morning,” Keith Davidson, founder of Indiana-based Seedline International, told CBN News. Seedline assumed sponsorship of the DC Bible Marathon this year.

Launched in 1990, the four-day event serves as a prelude to the annual National Day of Prayer service, scheduled for tonight. About 400 people from around the country have read the Bible aloud, from cover to cover, and without commentary, including Rep. Louis Gohmert, R-Texas.

The read-a-thon was designed as a vivid reminder of the Bible’s role in America’s history—and future.

“Because the Bible is at the heart of America’s founding principles, it should be voiced at the heart of our federal government, exhorting our nation to return to God’s precepts,” said a statement on the ministry’s website. “Therefore, it is our desire to publicly read God’s Holy Word on the steps of the nation’s Capitol, every year, for ninety consecutive hours.”

Davidson said volunteers…

White House Hosts National Day of Prayer Service for the Third Year in a Row

White House Hosts National Day of Prayer Service for the Third Year in a Row

President Trump hosted a National Day of Prayer service at the White House on Thursday with religious leaders from around the country.

“Today we give thanks for this magnificent country and we proudly come together as one nation under God,” Trump said at the start of the service.

According to CBS News, the President and Melania Trump hosted the service in the White House Rose Garden where the president asked for prayer for Venezuela and called for the protection of religious freedom amid the recent string of attacks on houses of worship across the United States and all over the world.

Among his guests were rabbi Yisroel Goldstein who survived the San Diego synagogue shooting last week.

In a video of the service Trump said, “As we unite on this day of prayer, we renew our resolve to protect communities of faith and to ensure that all people, and all of our people, can live and pray and worship in peace.”

The President made mention of several incidents on houses of worship in the U.S. including the arson of three historically black churches in Louisiana and the mass shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue last year. He said, “In recent months, it’s been pretty tough. We’ve seen evil and hate-filled attacks on religious communities in the United States and all around the world,” Trump said. “One month ago, three historically black churches were burned…

Alleged synagogue shooter appears to have used Christian faith to justify actions

John Earnest has been accused of writing a seven-page manifesto outlining his Christian theology on salvation, as well as his views about Jewish people, claiming that they deserved to die because they killed Jesus.

The 19-year-old, a member of an Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), is believed to have written that his intention to kill Jews would glorify God and encouraged others to follow suit.

One Jewish worshipper was killed in the shooting. A rabbi, a worshipper and a child were also injured at the synagogue in Ponway, California.

According to the Washington Post, Rev Mika Edmondson, a pastor in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church said the letter was shocking and admitted that the church had to take some responsibility for Earnest.

Rev Edmondson condemned the attack and added: “He [Earnest] was radicalized into white nationalism from within the very midst of our church.”

The OPC denomination, which was founded in response to the modernisation of Presbyterianism, said in a statement: “Anti-Semitism and racist hatred which apparently motivated the shooter… have no place within our system of doctrine.”

Baptist Pastor Opens Bar One Block from Church: ‘We Have to Think Outside the Box’

Baptist Pastor Opens Bar One Block from Church: ‘We Have to Think Outside the Box’

The pastor of a multicultural church in Minneapolis is set to open a pub he hopes will be a place for the community to come together.

Pastor Jeff Cowmeadow of Calvary Baptist Church and his wife, Randi, say they’ve long dreamed of owning a bar, possibly because they met in one.

“We believe that the church has to do new things. We have to think outside the box. So people have been very generous to help this come to fruition,” Cowmeadow told Southwest Journal, a Minneapolis community newspaper.

The bar, Prodigal Public House, will serve food and focus on whiskey and Guinness. It is just one block from Calvary Baptist, a member of the American Baptist Churches USA denomination.

The pub’s name was inspired by Jesus’ Parable of the Prodigal Son. Cowmeadow and his family own it.

“People say we have the gift of hospitality. So it’s really just living out who you are,” Cowmeadow told WCCO. “We can have spirits and have spiritual conversation. You can laugh, cry, do life together in a pub.”

He has served at the church since 1986 and sees the pub as an extension of Jesus’ commandments.

“The two great commandments, right? Love God, love your neighbor,” he told the Southwest Journal. “So we’re just trying to be a neighbor.”

The church’s vision, according to its website, is to be “a multicultural…

Israel’s UN ambassador uses Bible to defend Jews’ claim to land of Israel

Speaking during a special session at the United Nations Security Council on Monday, he outlined four reasons Jews’ connection to the Holy Land should be respected: “The Bible, history, international law, and the pursuit of international peace and security.”

Danon opened the Bible and read aloud God’s covenant with Abraham from Genesis 17, which states: “And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you throughout the generations for an everlasting covenant.

“And I will give to you and your descendants after you all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession and I will be their God.”

Danon then raised up the Bible and told attendees: “This is the deed to our land.”

“From the book of Genesis to the Jews’ exodus from Egypt, to receiving the Torah on Mt. Sinai, and to the realisation of God’s covenant in the holy land of Israel, the Bible paints a consistent picture.

“The entire history of our people and our connection to Eretz Israel begins right here.”

Danon highlighted the fact that all of the Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam reflect Jewish people’s connection to…
