We believe God is going to deliver us, but even if He does not, we are not conforming to your image of what you think we ought to be. We are going to do what God is telling us to do. You can do what you want to with your furnace. But whatever happens to us, we will have peace. — Daniel 3:17-18 (Paraphrased)
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to worship the golden idol that King Nebuchadnezzar constructed, and as a result were thrown into the fiery furnace (see Daniel 3). These three young men had no idea what would happen to them, but they were willing to put their lives on the line instead of disobeying God. We need people today who will take a stand for righteousness, for what is right according to God’s Word. If this does not happen, our world will be in serious trouble.
Many times, people fail to stand up for righteousness because they are afraid of what will happen when they do. Will they lose their jobs? Will they lose their friends? Will God abandon them? In situations such as these, when we do not know what the outcome or result of a situation will be, we need to trust God and press forward to do what we believe is right. Even if we are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, God’s Word says we are blessed (see Matthew 5:10). Those three Hebrew boys would’ve never experienced their incredible miracle if they weren’t willing to trust God as they stood in that fire.
The world desperately needs men and women who will trust God even in the midst of the fires of persecution and outside pressure. God can put us in better places than people could ever put us if we trust in Him and if we are people of integrity and excellence. We need people who will put everything on the line and say, “Even if I lose what I want, I will not compromise and do what I know in my heart to be wrong.” We need to fear the Lord above all else, and to trust Him at all times, in every situation, every day of our lives.
Trust in Him. Don’t be afraid to stand up for righteousness, because you know He’ll never leave you or forsake you.
Prayer Starter: Father, when the “fire” is turned up in my life, help me to stand strong and be a good representative for You. Help me to walk in integrity and do what’s right, even when it’s not popular. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Points on Today’s Open Heaven 14 April 2019 – The Book of Remembrance
1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
THE MESSAGE:
When the two disciples brought the colt and the donkey, they placed their coats and garments upon the young colt to serve as a saddle for Jesus. The people were all excited, hoping that Jesus was coming to overthrow the power of Rome and liberate them. Jesus was not coming to destroy the Romans, but rather to deal with the issue of sin in our lives.
His agenda is to lead us into a deeper relationship with God, so that He might change our lives, and we will receive that which is truly important in life. Depending on the hope they had, they responded to Jesus differently. One group took off their coats and clothing and laid them down the pathway as a royal carpet for the animal to walk on to honour Jesus. Another cut palm branches and laid them down as means of honouring Jesus. A third group simply stood alongside the road and cheered briefly and went back to their businesses.
Today Jesus our hope for peace and eternal life is marching into hearts. The hope you have in Him will determine how much of your heart you allow Him take possession of. He desires to make every heart His home but will not force it upon you. With Jesus in your heart, you have hope!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, my hope is in You. Help me surrender wholly to You.
Topic: Acknowledge His Presence And Ministry In You
…for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you) … (Hebrews 13:5 AMPC).
As a child of God, you’re never alone; you’ll never walk alone, because the Holy Spirit is in you. He lives in and with you always. Part of His ministry in your life is to stay in fellowship with you, strengthening your faith and stirring up courage in you to do the will of God, and fulfil your calling. Encourage His work and ministry in your life through your conscious appreciation of His indwelling and abiding presence. When you’re out on evangelism, witnessing to others about Christ, be conscious that He’s with you. As you minister and share the Word, you may be talking to the person from the outside, but He’s ministering to the person on the inside, confirming the Word in their hearts. He ministers along, and together, with you as your Helper.
Always acknowledge His presence and work in you, as Jesus did. Jesus said, “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works” (John 14:10). He recognized the Holy Spirit as the Father in Him, working in and through Him. The Holy Spirit is the Father in you; your Guide and your Keeper. Trust Him with your life. He’s the best friend and Helper you could ever have.
If you’re experiencing challenges right now, perhaps with your finances, health, academics, marriage, business, or career, don’t fret; trust the Holy Spirit. Set your attention and affection on Him; He never fails. Read again His reassuring and comforting words to you in our opening scripture, and ponder on the emphasis: “…for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)…. ”
PRAYER I’m a champion for life, by the Holy Spirit who lives in me, and works in and through me. I acknowledge His presence and work in my life, and declare that He’s my guarantee of a life of everlasting success, limitless progress and victories, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” – Matthew 21:9 (KJV)
This account is such an interesting one. It was exactly one week before the same people turned around and shouted ‘Crucify Him.’ The huge lesson to learn from this is that we should never to be moved by the applause of men; rather focus on God who called you and strive for His applause, for when He celebrates you He truly celebrates you. Man oscillates from one mood swing to another but not God. His Word is Yea and Amen.
In this account, the sovereignty of God was displayed. Imagine going to a man, whom you have never met, and asking him for his colt with only one instruction: The Lord has need of it, and the man did not argue. That goes to show that the Lord whom you serve has incredible power at His disposal. He can make and unmake, He can wound, and He can heal. He is God all by Himself. The hearts of kings are in His hands and He can turn it as He wills. So, the disciples went and spoke as commanded, and the man handed over the colt without another word.
Then, think of the women who threw their wrappers on the floor and those who climbed to cut palm fronds! Who instructed them? The truth is: God is God. When He is set to do a thing, everything gravitates to make it happen. It may not look like it, but if God has said it, then it must of necessity come to pass. The Word of God never falls to the ground; it must always accomplish what it is sent to do.
What has God spoken to you about? No matter how impossible it looks, don’t give up. Hang in there. Believe Him for His Word and be assured that it will come to pass. Creation will work for you in Jesus’ name.

TOPIC: Christ’s Foundation (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 14 April 2019)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 25-26; Luke 12:32-59
FIRE SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 3:10-13
MEMORY VERSE: “For no other foundation can a man lay than what is laid, which is Jesus.” – 1 Corinthians 3:11
The MESSAGE:
There is no superstructure without a base. The foundation is a very important part of a building. It is the support and determinant of the strength, health as well as longevity of the building. It is interesting to note that just as buildings have foundations, human beings also have foundations — the platform on which a life is erected or built.
If the foundation is good and strong, the life will be healthy, strong and fulfilled. Many lives are a far cry from what they are supposed to be because they are founded on faulty foundations.
Two children can be born on the same day in the same environment, into two different families and one will grow to fulfil destiny while the other finds life terrible and lack fulfilment. Such marked difference in life experiences and results usually come from difference in their foundations.
How do people inherit faulty or evil foundations? First, unscriptural method of conception creates evil foundation for the child. For example, if a woman in a desperate bid to conceive seeks help in ungodly places, any child obtained from such source would inherit an evil foundation. The devil will claim ownership over such child and its life will be full of battles.
Another way people inherit evil foundation is through incest. Children that are products of incest and those born out of wedlock have faulty foundation.
Similarly, a child whose parents and grandparents are idol worshippers and ungodly people will have an evil foundation. In Psalm 11:3, the Bible says, “If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The righteous should turn to God in prayer. God has the power and grace to help man and save him from trouble.
In Jeremiah 18, the Bible talks about the Potter who was working and what he was moulding with the clay bacame marred. He picked the work up again and remoulded it until it fitted the perfect image of what he wanted. In the same vein, if you are a product of a faulty foundation, turn to the Great Potter and the Perfect Builder. He will remove the fault in your foundation and perfect all that concerns you. Finally, as a parent, you must be careful about what you do today, so that you do not create a bad foundation for your children and grandchildren.
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: WHOSO IS WALKING UPRIGHTLY IS SAVED, BUT HE THAT IS PERVERSE IN HIS WAYS SHALL FALL AT ONCE.
PROPHETIC WORD: The Lord God who is your Maker, shall perfect everything concerning you.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
O God, arise and deliver me from every faulty foundation I have inherited from the womb, in the name of Jesus.
I vomit by fire, every ungodly evil material I have been fed with in the womb, in the name of Jesus.
I challenge my foundation with the fire of God, in the name of Jesus. EVENING
Foundational strongman, die, in the name of Jesus.
Blood of Jesus, purge my foundation unto perfection, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Ghost fire, melt away anything in my foundation that does not glorify God, in the name of Jesus.
Every ungodly power reigning over my life, your end has come, die today, in the name of Jesus.

The sacrificial highway is an angelic highway. Everywhere there is sacrifice, angels are present.
SCRIPTURE: And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob. Genesis 35:5
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The sacrificial highway is an angelic highway. Everywhere there is sacrifice, angels are present.
A covenant walk with God is a relationship of very high commitment and effortless sacrificial living (Psalms 50:5). People of covenant are people of altars and sacrifices. They lay their all on the altar; their time, talent, resources and energy. By their sacrifices, they experience substantial Divine covering and tangible Divine defense.
From our anchor scripture, it is clear to note that covenant people are not pursuable people because of the terror of the Lord that surrounds them. The dread of God is upon them like a garment. Everywhere they pass, people see them and fear.
Now, how does the covenant and sacrifice cover you?
Covenant sacrifice facilitates the reversal of curses: Jesus, who is our sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary has reversed the curse on mankind. Every curse on your life is breakable by the covenant (Galatians 3:13).
Covenant sacrifice establishes the hedge of Divine defense: Job offered sacrifices continually in Job 1:5-10, and God placed a hedge around him and around all that he had.
Covenant Sacrifice established angelic traffic/presence.
Covenant people experience the defense of fire round about them (Judges 13:18-19). The sacrificial highway is an angelic highway. Everywhere there is sacrifice, angels are present.
Beloved, maintain an unwavering commitment to God and His Word in order to live a sacrificial life. Do not just play church; mean business with God. Engage in the covenant of giving and receiving – in tithes and offerings, giving to the poor, etc. Obey Divine promptings from God, and as you do all these, you will see multiple releases and multiplied harvests, in Jesus’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS: The sacrificial highway is an angelic highway. Everywhere there is sacrifice, angels are present.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Make sacrificial living a lifestyle
Do not delay or fail in your covenant practices
PRAYER: O Lord, I ask for Your grace to be steadfast in my covenant practices. Help me to live the life of sacrifice, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

Key Verse: “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD” (Proverbs 18:22).
MESSAGE:
Several newspaper in Nigeria recently carried the sorrowful story of a woman that stabbed her husband to death as a result of a minor misunderstanding. This story brings to the fore, the universal aphorism that not all married women are wives. Similarly, not all married men are husbands. Some women are disguised foes to their spouses. Such women desert their spouses in times of troubles such as loss of job, illness or accidents.
The text mentions sundry issues among which is the importance of a good wife. A good wife is a great blessing to a man and a token of divine favour. A man who finds a wife finds a treasure of priceless value and is a clear evidence that the man has received favour from the Lord.
A man can only receive the favour of God by yielding his life to Christ through sincere repentance unto God, faith in Christ Jesus and obedience to divine guidance. To get God’s favour, one needs to trust in Him and seek His mind when one wants to choose a life partner. A wife cannot be got through carnal match-making, friends or parents’ suggestion. Match-making is the exclusive work of the Holy Spirit. Choice of a marriage partner based on physical appearance, level of education, family background, tribe and race, will only result in regret and sorrow.
Marriages that have been contracted wrongly can be corrected by Christ, if the two partners involved come to Calvary with readiness to obey Christ’s precepts. Any marriage between a believer and unbeliever is nothing short of unequal yoke and this is against the revealed will of God in the Scriptures. A wife provided by God is the best friend any man can have on earth as she will stick to the man in sorrow, joy, poverty, wealth, health or in sickness.
Thought For The Day: God is the perfect Matchmaker!

Topic: The Book of Remembrance (Open Heaven 14 April 2019)
Memorise: “Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.”- Malachi 3:16
Read: Esther 6:1-13 (KJV)
1 On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
2 And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
3 And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.
4 And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king’s house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
5 And the king’s servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.
6 So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?
7 And Haman answered the king, For the man whom the king delighteth to honour,
8 Let the royal apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:
9 And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour.
10 Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.
11 Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.
12 And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.
13 And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.

Open Heaven 14 April 2019 Sunday MESSAGE:
The book of remembrance is a divine record of those who fear God and obey His commands. Kept before the throne of God, it documents their righteous deeds. In today’s memory verse, some godly people were discussing among themselves the challenges they faced in an environment where the ungodly seemed to be prospering while they were not. The Lord took note of their conversation and immediately opened a book of remembrance on their behalf. This tells us that God listens in on their heartfelt discussions, and His attention is always drawn to our good deeds and challenges, so much so that He even documents them. In times of uncertainty and when faced with challenges, you can draw on this truth to call God to remembrance and cause Him to move on your behalf. Nehemiah knew this, and so when he was faced with the challenge of building the walls of Jerusalem in times of uncertainty and adversity, he prayed this prayer in Nehemiah 13:14, saying:
“Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.”
I pray that God will bring your righteous deeds into remembrance for due reward today in Jesus’ Name.
Indeed, God rewards the righteous deeds of those who persistently hold on to Him. I am a living testimony of this. The Holy Spirit says in Galatians 6:9:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
This suggests that God can never forget our contributions to the progress of His kingdom. He will ensure that we receive proper recognition and reward for our righteous deeds. Speaking in Hebrews 6:10, the Holy Spirit further says:
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
Any attempt to deny anyone the reward of their labour is an act of unrighteousness before God, and because God cannot be unrighteous, it is part of His nature to call a person’s deeds into remembrance for adequate recompense. He did this with Abraham, Noah, Cornelius, Rachael, Hannah and the nation of Israel. God will therefore remember your contributions to the growth of His kingdom and adequately compensate you in Jesus’ Name.
Open Heaven 14 April 2019 Sunday Prayer Point:
Father, please remember my labor of love in Your vineyard today, in Jesus’ Name.
Open Heaven 14 April 2019 Sunday Hymn 8: My Faith Looks Up To Thee
1 My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!
2 May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire!
3 While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
4 When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul!

The law surrounding divorce is having the biggest change in 50 years, in that neither party will be required to attribute blame to the other for it to be granted.
Currently, evidence of ‘fault’ is legally required.
David Gauke, the justice secretary, said this change would help end the “blame game” for divorcing couples.
Some Christian organisations have raised concern with the plan to abolish the right to contest a divorce and the general idea of marriage being seen as easier to end.
David Hodson OBE says no fault divorce will not make ending a marriage easier and that Christians should take on the job of helping couples reconcile.
As a specialist family law solicitor, mediator and abitrator, Mr Hodson is experienced in family disputes.
The solicitor, who also sits part-time as a family court judge, told Premier: “I, and almost every other family lawyer around the country, support no fault divorce.
“We in effect have quasi-no-fault divorce at the moment because nobody deals with a real fault for why a relationship has broken down.
“Divorce matters – which are sad in almost all circumstances, where they are tragic, where there are children involved – let’s try and work out the best arrangements for everyone; financial arrangements, parenting arrangements – but please, there is no need to engage in artificial blame in a legal context which doesn’t help…
