When you’re in London, Düsseldorf, Germany, is 357 miles to the east. Edinburgh, Scotland, is 403 miles to the north. If you’re flying to Düsseldorf, you’d not expect your airplane to land in Edinburgh.
But that’s just what happened Monday.
The aviation company operating British Airways Flight 3271 filed the wrong flight plan, sending the jet to Edinburgh. The pilots, cabin crew, and air traffic controllers thus assumed the plane was supposed to go to Scotland.
When they landed, confusion ensued. Flight attendants asked for a show of hands of passengers who thought they were traveling to Düsseldorf. When every hand went up, they realized that every passenger was now in the wrong place.
We can be both sincere and wrong
There are many ways to be sincerely wrong today.
Same-sex marriage supporters are convinced that biblical, moral, or religious liberty objections are irrelevant or wrong. The same is true with abortion advocates. Their claims seem simple and persuasive: “Everyone should be able to love who they love,” “A woman is the best person to decide what to do with her own body,” and so on.

The situation grew dire when Brad Patterson discovered the bad reputation his new church had developed in the community. The advice he’d received from mentors to, “preach, pray, and stay” rested heavily on him during his first year. He recalls the next three years as some of the hardest of his life. Fifteen months in, Patterson discovered that a group of supposed friends sought to remove him from the pastorate.
It is a common travail. The pastor has gotten to the end of his week without having had much time to focus on his sermon. He might have been thinking about his text, might have jotted a few things down, but the meat of his preparation and heat of his composition falls to the Saturday prior to preaching, perhaps even spilling into the wee hours of Sunday morning.

NEW DELHI, March 29, 2019 (Morning Star News) – Nearly two months after Hindu extremists in India humiliated, beat and forced Christians to praise a Hindu god, the host of the house church has yet to return to his home.
Kumar Gautam is still in hiding after more than 20 Hindu extremists in Chapar village, Sultanpur District, Uttar Pradesh state on Feb. 7 burst into his home, beat the 39 adults of the fellowship, kept them from medical care and stood outside the police station threatening to kill them if they filed a complaint.
“Nearly every day the attackers come and threaten my family, saying that if I register a complaint with police, they will kill me,” Gautam said. “My family is very scared.”
House-church pastor Om Prakash said the hard-line Hindus kept the injured from getting medical are.
“The assailants chased us away from the hospital,” he told Morning Star News. “We somehow reached the local police station to report the matter to the police at 10 in the night, and a group of [Hindu extremist] Bajrang Dal people were standing outside the police station. They threatened to kill us if we filed a complaint against them, and we had to flee for our lives.”

Open Heaven 31 March 2019 Sunday MESSAGE:
At a point in everyone’s life, we all come face to face with crossroads. Many people don’t know what to do when they find themselves at crossroads, and so they take steps in the wrong direction, leading to setbacks or destruction. This will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name. However, for this not to be your lot, you need to know what to do when at crossroads in life. The Holy Spirit offers an excellent solution in today’s memory verse. From His recommendations, the first thing you need to do is to pause and consider the options before you. He said “Stand ye in the ways, and see.” Some people are always in a hurry to make decisions at such moments, but this is not a wise thing to do. Do not allow your emotions or anyone rush you into making a decision when at crossroads. You need to learn to wait for the Lord, especially at such moments. Wait to hear expressly from God for Him to give you a sign on the right thing to do. In today’s Bible reading, when Paul and his company faced a dilemma on where next to take the message of the gospel, they waited until God gave them a sign through a night vision. Mind you, they were obeying the commandments of the Lord “to go ye into the world and preach the gospel”, and yet the Holy Spirit forbade them from preaching in two places. They had to wait for the Lord until He showed them the path to toe. How marvelous are the ways of our God! No wonder Isaiah 30:18b from our Bible reading says:

After pausing to see, the next step the Holy Spirit recommends in Jeremiah 6:16 is to ask for the old paths. There is a Nigerian adage that says “He who asks questions will not miss his way”. You need to ask questions on how the issue you are facing was handled by those who have gone ahead of you and what their results were. It is unfortunate that today’s men and women tend not to see anything good in the old paths, and yet these sometimes hold the key to their future. However, take careful note of the words used by the Holy Spirit in Jeremiah 6:16. He did not say you should ask for the old paths and walk in them; He said you should ask for the old paths and walk in them; He said you should ask for the old paths and make further enquiries on where the good way is. The old paths are not necessarily the good way, but they can point you in the direction of where the good way is. Don’t be fixated on doing things the way they have always been done, except that is seen to be the good way. You need to have a relationship with the One who declared Himself to be The way, in order for you to discover where the good way is in all situations (John 14:6). When you are His sheep, you will hear His voice behind you, telling you which way to go. When you yield to His voice, you will surely find rest for your soul.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18).
Every Christian is called to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus said: “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15), and everything we require to achieve this divine commission is already available to us. Recall what the Master said to His disciples in Luke 22:35, “…When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing.”
When God sends you on an assignment, He sees to it that everything you require to accomplish that assignment is made available to you. All He needs is your commitment to His dream. You have to be determined that there’ll be no limit to how far you’re willing to go and do for the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. It’s the power of God to make sinners righteous. It’s the power of God to catapult the poor from obscurity and misery to a life of prosperity, glory, and excellence.
The sinner needs to know that Jesus already bore the penalty for his sins. The poor needs to know that they’ve been brought out of poverty, into prosperity and abundance. The sick needs to know that divine health is available in Christ; Jesus has taken away every pain; all they have to do is call on His Name. But Romans 10:14 says, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
That’s where you come in; you’re the bearer of the good news of Christ’s salvation. Decide that through you, those in your world who haven’t yet known the Lord will hear and receive the Gospel. Like the Apostle Paul, take the call to preach the Gospel seriously; make it your life’s work.
Paul said in Romans 1:16, “…I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ….” Then in 1 Corinthians 9:16, he said, “Woe unto me, if I don’t preach the Gospel!” Have the same mentality about the Gospel, for it’s been committed to your trust.
PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the glorious Gospel of Christ, through which life and immortality is unveiled. I’m convinced that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation; therefore, I’m committed to its spread around the world. Today, many are brought out of sin, into righteousness, and into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, as the Gospel is preached around the world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

If you’re like most of us, you’d rather not read another article about abortion this morning.
The subject is divisive, the debate vitriolic. If you haven’t had an abortion, if you don’t love someone who has, or if you’re not considering an abortion personally, it can be tempting to ignore the issue.
Then comes a movie that changes everything.
Startling abortion statistics
Unplanned is being released today. My wife and I were invited to attend an advance screening of the film a few weeks ago. It makes the issue of abortion so real and relevant that everyone should see the film.
One-fourth of this population (the number who have had abortions, according to Planned Parenthood), is 10,935,455 women.
In other words, only 8.5 percent of the American female adult population and 4.3 percent of the entire American adult population has personally experienced an abortion.
Even if you dispute my calculations, you’d have to agree that the vast majority of Americans who support abortion have never experienced one.
A scene you won’t forget
Unplanned tells the story of a woman who became a Planned Parenthood clinic director, then personally witnessed an abortion gone awry. (This scene is apparently what caused the movie to be rated R, though I’ve seen far more violence in PG-13 movies.)…
El-Shaddai is one of the Hebrew names of God that means ‘Almighty’ and means ‘all powerful’ and also means ‘the many breasted God’.
El-Shaddai in two words means ‘Divine Provider’ and ‘Divine Protector’
FIVE DIMENSIONS OF THE DIVINE PROVISION CAPACITY OF EL-SHADDAI:
1. He is the incomprehensible Provider
He beats your imagination with His provision capacity.
With man you may understand how he will provide a thing for you, but with God His provision capacity is incomprehensible, it beats the imagination of man.
If you want to comprehend God, you can never go far with Him and He can never go far with you.
2. He is the incomparable Provider
There is nobody to compare God with; that is why when you begin to look up to man, God begins to look away from you.
There is no human being that is a yardstick that you can measure God with.
3. He is the inexhaustible Provider
He is the Ocean that never dries and the Supply that never finishes.
4. He is the indefatigable Provider
5. He is the infallible Provider (Matt. 6:11)
He is the unfailing Provider; He is always there (Matt. 6:11)

Enjoying the abundant life Jesus died to give you is based on a decision you make, not on your circumstances. Thankfully, you can decide to be happy right where you are and to enjoy the life you have right now on the way to where you are going. You can make a firm decision to enjoy your journey.
You can begin by saying out loud, “I am going to enjoy my life.” Until you get that thought established in your mind, every morning when you wake up, before you even get out of bed, I encourage you to declare out loud, “I am going to enjoy this day! I am seizing the day! I am taking authority over Satan—the joy thief—even before he tries to come against me. I have made up my mind that I am going to keep my joy today!”
Having a right mind-set always helps in every situation.
Prayer Starter: I thank You today, Father, that I can choose to live in the abundant life Jesus died to give me. I don’t have to live a miserable, unhappy life. I can choose to celebrate Your goodness and enjoy the life You have given me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Infanticide Issue Prompts ‘Day of Mourning’ in Virginia
Pro-life advocates in Virginia, responding to Gov. Ralph Northam’s comments defending infanticide, will hold a Day of Mourning to fast and pray in Richmond April 6. The event is being called a grassroots movement and is designed after a similar gathering in New York last month.
The New York observance followed the January passage of the state’s Reproductive Health Act, which removed most restrictions on abortion statewide. An estimated 4,000 people attended the Day of Mourning in Albany, with 40,000 more participating through live streaming, according to LifeSite News.
Participants at the Greater Richmond Convention Center are being asked to wear black as they call for the repentance of the sin of abortion.
“Have we already forgotten that Virginia Governor Northam advocated for executing already born full-term babies?” Elizabeth Johnston, the Activist Mommy, told the Christian Post.
“Have we already forgotten that New York Governor (Andrew) Cuomo and his friends at Planned Parenthood celebrated child murder by lighting up the World Trade Center pink? Is our commitment to our unborn neighbors so fickle that we have already allowed our righteous anger to subside,” she questioned?

Norwegian officials say they have found a ship buried in the ground west of Oslo, adding that it likely dates to the Viking era.
The ship was found by use of geo-radar, and archaeologists say they have no immediate plan to unearth it, but they will be using non-invasive methods to find out more about it.
Vestfold county spokesman Terje Gansum said Monday the ship burial — where a vessel is used as a container for the dead — was found in the Borre burial mounds, considered one of Norway’s most important cultural heritage sites.
He said Viking-era ships are always at least 15 metres (50 feet) long.
The find is next to a museum promoting the local area’s Viking heritage. The Viking era was approximately 793-1066.
