Joyce Meyer Devotional 24 November 2018 — God Knows You Intimately

Topic: God Knows You Intimately [Joyce Meyer Devotional 24 November 2018]

Because we relate to God as individuals—and that’s the way He wants it—we also pray as individuals. Even when we pray corporately with others, we are still individuals; we simply join our hearts with others as one voice.

During these corporate prayer times, I believe God wants our hearts to be in unity much more than He wants our methods to be the same.

When we say, “Lord, teach me to pray,” we are asking Him to teach us to pray in a distinctly personal way and to enable our prayers to be easy, natural expressions of who we are. We are not supposed to check our individuality at the door of the prayer closet. We need to go to God just the way we are and give Him the pleasure of enjoying the company of the “original” He has made each of us to be.

We need to approach God with our strengths, weaknesses, uniqueness, and everything else that so wonderfully distinguishes us from all the other people in the world.

God enjoys meeting us where we are, developing a personal relationship with us, and helping us grow to become everything He wants us to be. It is refreshing to realize that we can come to God just as we are and be relaxed in His presence.

Prayer Starter: Father, thank You that I can approach You just as I am and have a unique, personal relationship with You. Help me to continually be more comfortable as I come to You to talk, worship, or simply relax in Your presence. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Desire For Kingdom Wealth By David Ibiyeomie

Desire For Kingdom Wealth By David Ibiyeomie

Topic: Desire For Kingdom Wealth

Proverbs 18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

What you do not desire, you do not deserve. You do not fast and pray to become rich; you fast and pray to enhance the revelation of wealth and how to get it. Without the desire to have wealth, you can never come out of lack. Knowledge gives you freedom, even financially.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Poverty is a sin and it is wickedness. You were created to enjoy life; not to endure life. Enjoyment is not a sin. When you discover God’s ways, you exercise dominion. You cannot know His ways and not make waves on earth.

Every genuine and personal encounter with God’s word changes your life. The greatest investment is knowledge; you must desire it. Wisdom and knowledge is what will stabilize you no matter where you are; it is not who you know.

Also Read: Handling Offences by David Ibiyeomie

Isaiah 33:6a And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation.

True knowledge does not only generate results but sustains it. Lasting prosperity is not by gimmicks or tricks. Without knowledge, you cannot enjoy greatness. Poverty is a function of ignorance, that is, the knowledge is there but you have refused to know. Knowledge is the master key to a world of exploits. If you want things to get better, you have to see brighter things. You have to learn.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me.

Knowledge is not age-dependent, otherwise all old men will prosper. Do not assume you know something. Anything you do not know will not produce result. It is the depth of insight you have in God’s word that will determine how far you will go in your prosperity. To get out of poverty, you need to desire knowledge; you need to be preached to.

Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Rise above being dependent on people. Many desire to be rich but never desire knowledge because they believe someone somewhere will always help them just like Lazarus the beggar.

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores.

The day you get tired of begging, you will go for knowledge. Never beg, people change every day; go for yours. Take a quality decision backed with action and apply all you know. Decide now to read for there is no shortcut. Without revelation, you will not last long. Knowledge is of no value unless put it into practice.

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.

Be wise and do what you have heard. No man’s revelation can carry you, go for your own revelation in the word and walk out of poverty. You are not the first to be poor; desire knowledge to come out of it!

God bless you

TREM Devotional 24 November 2018 – Make Room For Abundance

Topic: Make Room For Abundance [TREM Devotional 24 November 2018]

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son Colossians 1:13 KJV

Every believer is a citizen of the Kingdom of God. In this Kingdom, we are never in recession. We are enjoying abundance. This is what you must choose to believe. Whatever is happening to the world is for the world. You don’t belong to the world. You are of the Kingdom and the Kingdom of God rules this world. This must be your mentality. In fact, this is the time to make the biggest plan that you have ever made in your life.

God sent me to tell you; no more dry season in your life. Make plans for abundance. Make plans to live. When you accept dry season, it means that you are making plans to die. But you will not die. You will live to declare the works of God. That car that you want to buy, you will still buy it irrespective of the global economy. God is able to lift you up to the place of abundance, so trust Him.

We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. So, don’t ever count yourself in. You are not part of them. Don’t moan or cry about the global rate of inflation. I can assure you that somehow God will sustain you. You won’t just barely make it; you will have abundance. You must, therefore, make room for abundance in your life. Whatever I am telling you is what I am doing. I am not making room for slowing down. I am not going to allow the devil to slow me down. He won’t scare me because I belong to God. You also belong to God. And He paid a supreme price on your behalf. You have been delivered from the power of darkness and you have been translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. And in that kingdom, there is no lack.

MFM Daily Devotional 24 November 2018 – Reversing Breakthrough Miscarriage

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 24 November 2018 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Reversing Breakthrough Miscarriage

TOPIC: Reversing Breakthrough Miscarriage (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 24 November 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Mark 8:22-26

MEMORY VERSE: “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” – Psalms 138:8

The MESSAGE:

A goalkeeper in a football match will be sad if he catches a ball from a striker, mysteriously loses the grip of the ball and it rolls into the net. It would be declared a goal against his team, and it will be more painful if a trophy is at stake. Before you begin to pray for a breakthrough, there must be a target; there must be an objective you want accomplished at the end of the prayers. It may involve the need to get over a resistance in order to get your desire fulfilled or the need to get enough power and strength to get to where you desire to be. Therefore, you need angelic assistance and spiritual power because breakthrough prayers are not meant for gentlemen and women.

Beloved, after getting your heart’s desire and you do not know what next to do, that which you have got could still be lost. This is called miscarriage of breakthrough blessing. Miscarriage means failure to attain a desired result. For example, a woman prayed for the fruit of the womb and she broke through in prayers. She was blessed with the fruit of the womb, but before delivery, she lost the baby. This is what happens with breakthrough prayers; they can be lost before they become physically useful to the beneficiary. Some instances include financial blessing; you perceive the money or you see the green light that it has come, but it does not manifest physically. Marital blessing can also be miscarried. The groom could go missing before the day of wedding or shortly after wedding, divorce can take place if not properly handled. The blessings of a job well done can be lost during interview or after the interview, even when you have been told you were the best in the interview.

The blessing of admission into a school can be lost even when your name is in the final list. But at the point of registration, the enemy can strike and the name can simply disappear. It is the same with the blessings of promotion, contract or big sales, which can be lost if not properly managed. The blessing of healing can also be lost, and the person healed can still die few days after receiving the healing etc. Miscarriages, therefore are akin to seeing it, carrying it, and later missing it. It is like saying I have got it and as soon as you finish giving the testimony, you lose it. In the Fire Scripture, the blind man was about to miss the healing of receiving his sight and Jesus had to tell him to neither go into the town nor tell it to any in the town. The lesson here is that there are agents of miscarriage you must run away from such as talkativeness, prayerlessness, insufficiency of fire, selfishness, unavailability for God’s use, sin, and foundation and lack of deliverance.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
THE MORE YOU PRAY, THE MORE YOU DISCOVER, THE MORE YOU RECOVER, THE MORE THE BREAK THROUGH.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Every satanic attacker assigned to attack your breakthrough shall die.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Enemies of my breakthroughs, you are a liar, you shall not succeed again, die, in Jesus’ name.
2. Every resistance to my breakthrough, I pull you down, scatter, in Jesus’ name.
3. I cut off every supply of food that strengthens the enemies of my breakthrough, in Jesus’ name.

EVENING
4. My paralysed breakthroughs, receive resurrection power, come alive, in Jesus’ name.
5. O God my Father, You have begun Your work in my life, arise and perfect it, in the name of Jesus.
6. I reject miscarriage of my breakthrough by the power in the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name.
7. Power, strength, fire, anointing to carry my breakthrough to perfection, come upon my life, in Jesus’ name.

Teens Open Heavens 24 November 2018 – Raw Materials Needed

Topic: Raw Materials Needed [Teens Open Heavens 24 November 2018]

Memorise: And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man. Genesis 2:22

Read: Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 (KJV)

Bible In One Year: Ezekiel 32-33, 1 Peter 1

MESSAGE:

One lesson from Genesis 2:21-24 is that Adam made a contribution towards Eve’s existence. Another lesson here is that when God asks you to sow, He may tell you where and when you will harvest the benefits of that seed. All you should do is simply obey. You can sow a seed and it can bring you increased anointing or divine grace. Your seed could pave way through academic defects or spiritual bondage.

Your seed is the raw material Heaven requires to make your finished product. Eve was the finished product that Adam got after he parted with something dear to him. God doesn’t have need for your gifts, you are the one who needs to sow for yourself. You may never know where your seed will speak for you: just trust the Lord. He knows what is best for you and He is acquainted with your needs. Keep on sowing.

Key Point: Sometimes, when you sow a seed in a particular area, Heaven may see the need you cannot see in another area and therefore apply it there.

Hymn 6:

1. Our God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home:

2. Under the shadow of your throne
Your saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is your arm alone,
And our defense is sure

3. Before the hills in order stood
Or earth received its frame,
From everlasting you are God,
To endless years the same.

4. A thousand ages in your sight
Are like an evening gone
Short as the watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.

5. Time, like an ever-rolling stream,
Soon bears us all away;
We fly forgotten, as a dream
Does at the opening day.

6. Our God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Still be our guard while troubles last,
And our eternal home!

DCLM Daily Manna 24 November 2018 – Who Am I?

Topic: Who Am I? [DCLM Daily Manna 24 November 2018 Daily Devotional by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: Mark 8:27-38 (KJV)

Key Verse: “And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ” (Mark 8:29).

MESSAGE:

This is an inescapable question everyone must ask and be prepared to supply unambiguous answer to. Yet, majority of individuals walking along this part of eternity consciously or unconsciously, fail to address this question. The Lord Jesus in our text wanted the opinion of His disciples on who men thought that He was. Yet, He posed a second and stronger question to them: “… But whom say ye that I am?…” (Mark 8:29).

These questions were pertinent to the Lord who desired to know what men around and His disciples in particular knew about Him. We must know who we are in the sight of God, in the light of His word and based on the objective assessment of men around us.

Failure to ascertain the facts of who we are before God and the watching world will affect the quality of life we live in terms of our vision, mission, ministry, message and morals. We must first present our lives to Christ and allow our hearts reverence Him in the private and in the public. We must commit ourselves to thinking and acting right daily, maintaining good conscience before God and men as well as letting the world see Jesus in us in our daily living.

This level of the Christian life is possible and can be attained through utilising the resources available to us in God’s word and fellowship with His abiding Spirit, who reveals all truths about life to us. Knowing who we are in time and in the future, is indeed the greatest laurel any man can achieve in life. Many of God’s saints, past and present, have achieved this feat. You too can make it.

Thought For The Day: Our greatest task in life is to see ourselves through God’s lenses.

Seeds of Destiny 24 November 2018 Devotional – Prayers That Open Doors

Topic: Prayers That Open Doors [Seeds of Destiny 24 November 2018 Devotional]

Scripture: Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: Colossians 4:3

Thought For The Day: Prayer has the capacity to open doors supernaturally.

It has been confirmed that prayer has the capacity to open doors supernaturally (James 5:17, 18). However, there are kinds of prayer that open doors and we are looking at those kinds of prayer today.

1. Intercessory prayers
This is the prayer that overlooks personal challenges to focus on the challenges of others (Job 42:10).

Sometime ago, someone who had a heart condition (Arrhythmia) for 21 years met another person who had a similar condition and decided to pray for him. Both of them went down under the power of the Holy Ghost after the prayer and stood up healed. So, intercessory prayers work.

2. Kingdom vow-based prayers
This is where the prayer includes a vow that targets the needs of the Kingdom. Such prayer opened Hannah’s womb (1 Samuel 1:11-19). God needed a priest and Hannah needed a son so she asked God for a son and vowed to give him back to God as His priest.

3. Consecrational prayers
These are prayers of submission and surrender to God for the fulfilment of His purpose in one’s life (Luke 3:21).

4. Corporate prayers
This is the prayer of agreement with the Church. It opened the prison gates for Peter (Acts 12:5-12).

5. Praiseful prayers
These are prayers that are heavily laced with praise. It broke open the prison doors for Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25-26).

Beloved, engage these prayers with all your heart and watch all closed doors around your life open.

Remember this: Prayer has the capacity to open doors supernaturally.

Assignments:
1. Endeavour to engage in the kinds of prayer outlined in our study today.
2. Take out time to intercede for revival in the Church and for the salvation of lost souls.
3. Make demands on the opening of every closed door around your life.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: PRAYERS THAT OPEN DOORS

Prayer: Lord, thank You for access into Your Presence. By the power of Your Presence, let every closed door around my life be opened Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Our Daily Bread 24 November 2018 Devotional – A Constant Helper

Topic: A Constant Helper [Our Daily Bread 24 November 2018 Devotional]

Read: John 14:15–26, Bible in a Year: Ezekiel 22–23; 1 Peter 1

[The Holy Spirit] will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26

After a spinal injury left Marty paralyzed, he decided to go back to school to earn his MBA. Marty’s mother, Judy, helped make his goal a reality. She sat with him through every lecture and study group, jotting notes and handling technology issues. She even assisted him onto the platform when he received his diploma. What might have been unattainable became possible with the consistent, practical help Marty received.

Jesus knew His followers would need a similar kind of support after He left the earth. When He told them about His upcoming absence, He said they would gain a new kind of connection with God through the Holy Spirit. This Spirit would be a moment-by-moment helper—a teacher and guide who would not only live with them but also be in them (John 14:17, 26).

The Spirit would provide Jesus’s disciples with internal help from God, which would enable them to endure what they couldn’t handle on their own as they fanned out to share the good news. In moments of struggle, the Spirit would remind them of everything Jesus said to them (v. 26): Do not let your hearts be troubled . . . Love one another . . . I am the resurrection and the life.

Are you facing something that exceeds your own strength and ability? You can depend on the Spirit’s constant help. God’s Spirit working in you will bring Him the glory He deserves.

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for the ongoing support available through the Holy Spirit. Help me to rely on Your Spirit when I need help.

When it is a question of God’s almighty Spirit, never say, “I can’t.” —Oswald Chambers

INSIGHT:
In John, Jesus teaches extensively about the Holy Spirit: The advocate or comforter will help us and never leave us (John 14:16). The world cannot accept this “Spirit of truth,” yet He lives with and inside believers (v. 17). He teaches us and reminds us of Jesus’s words (v. 26; 15:26); convinces us of sin and reveals God’s “righteousness,” or moral rightness (16:8); and guides us into “all the truth” about Christ and brings Him glory (vv. 13–14).

Another said he felt a “long rattling in Yokohama” – which is over 300 km away from the Fukushima Prefecture.

Fukushima is the capital city of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, and was subject to a nuclear disaster in 2011.

It is in the norther part of Nakadori, the central region of the prefecture.
