Antifa groups and gay rights activists protested a megachurch in Texas earlier this week and doxed the pastor’s son all because they oppose the church’s biblical views on sexuality.

Stonewall Militant Front-ATX and AZAAD Austin were among the groups protesting Celebration Church, a multisite nondenominational church in the cities of Austin and Georgetown. Antifa was reportedly protesting the Austin congregation on Sunday because they were meeting at the Austin Independent School District’s Performing Arts Center. The activists’ goal is to pressure the AISD to stop renting its space out to Christian “homophobes,” PJ Media reports. 

“Defend our youth from these attacks! Pride means fight back!” protesters said, waving rainbow flags, as worshipers walked into the auditorium.

When those attending the service left, protested yelled: “Bigots out of Austin; don’t come back.”

Under the Obama administration Antifa groups were designated as being a security threat and engaged in “domestic terrorist violence,” according to documents obtained by Politico, the National Review reports.

A woman is claiming that Kofi Danso, the leader of the Miracle for All Nations, told her that God wanted her to abort the child Danso impregnated her with or else she would die.

Chris-Ann Bartley’s son is now 6 months old. According to a DNA test, Danso, who calls himself a prophet, is the father.

Earlier this month, Danso asked the court to keep the paternity results sealed in Bartley’s lawsuit against him. He said if people knew he was the father, his reputation would suffer.

Ontario Supreme Court Justice Fred Myers denied the request.

“Ms. Bartley’s evidence is that when she approached Mr. Danso to tell him that she was pregnant, he asked her to have an abortion. When she declined, she claims that he told her that ‘the Lord showed him if I have the child I would die,'” Myers wrote.

Danso is married to Rev. JoAnne Danso. They have four daughters. His wife is also pregnant with twins.

According to a July affidavit, Danos said he did not have “sexual relations” with Bartley. He said the claims were meant to make him “pay child support for the child who was fathered by another man.”

After the paternity test was revealed to Danso, he said he was “shocked.” He has since said that he was seduced into the affair.

Sunday services at Inland Hills Church in Chino, California, will be dedicated to a time of worship and reflection in the wake of the recent suicide of Pastor Andrew Stoecklein, the church has announced.

“In lieu of our regular Sunday services, be with us for Open House Sunday anytime between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., as we process and respond in the wake of Pastor Andrew’s passing last weekend. May our church family declare God’s goodness at all times, in every season. #godsgotthis#inlandhills,” the church noted in a statement on Facebook Thursday.

A Texas organization is being criticized for promoting an “abortion war against black women” with a new billboard in Dallas.

The billboard shows three smiling African American women on one side with a message on the other side that reads, “Black women take care of their families by taking care of themselves. ABORTION IS SELF-CARE.” It is sponsored by The Afiya Center, which calls itself the only “reproductive justice” organization in “North Texas founded and directed by Black women.”

Pro-life advocate Abby Johnson, who once worked at a Planned Parenthood clinic, posted a picture of the billboard on her Facebook page with the message: “The abortion war against black women is so real.”

Her post sparked nearly 700 comments – most of them outraged at the sign.

“This black woman right here took care of her family BY taking care of her babies,” Bethany McLachlan-Reed, who is African American, wrote. “Such ridiculousness.”

Another person, Deanna Freeman, said the phrase “self-care” should never apply to abortion.

 “I’m sorry but self care is a bubble bath. A pedicure. A hot cup of coffee,” Freeman wrote. “I don’t understand how the term ‘self care’ can even remotely be construed as applicable in reference to abortion.”

On Aug. 20, the century-old Silent Sam statue at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill was toppled over as police officers stood by. According to WRAL News, the chief of the Chapel Hill, N.C. police force ordered officers to stand down and “give them space” as the Confederate statue was pulled over. 

Police Chief Chris Blue was reportedly texting one of his men orders as he closely monitored the situation from afar.

At around 9:00 p.m. Blue reportedly texted, “Do not engage w Crowd at statue. Stay way out.”

A half an hour later the statue fell. 

Law enforcement quickly received backlash for their strategy for handling the protest, critics arguing that more should have been done to prevent the toppling of the statue. 

According to the WRAL, Blue was paying particular attention to the potential arrival of counter-protesters to the scene.

A public relations request was sent to Blue for copies of his emails and texts from Aug. 20-21 and WRAL obtained around 400 pages of messages.

According to the text messages, Blue repeatedly asked about officers locations and appeared to be concerned about a clash between the protesters and potential counter-protesters.

The wildly popular fast food chain, In-N-Out Burger, has donated $25,000 to the GOP sparking controversy. The openly Christian, west coast food chain reportedly donated a large sum of money to the GOP this week causing Washington, D.C.-based journalist Gabe Schneider, to respond on Twitter, Wednesday.

Schneider posted a screenshot of the company’s contribution and captioned it, “In-N-Out added a new item to their secret menu.”
