It’s the first store to bring non-surgical procedures to the high street and will be available for people aged 25 and over in its store in the Strand, London, before rolling it out nationwide.

Emma Oliver from the charity Friendly Development told Premier she’s concerned about the development.

“It’s just becoming really normal. It’s becoming something that we can pop in and get Botox at lunchtime along with perhaps other procedures like lip-fillers…along with something that would be more of a day-to-day treatment like a manicure or a pedicure.”

Customers will only be able to have the cosmetic procedure after a phone booking and consultation with a qualified nurse.

However, Oliver explained why Christians should think twice before altering their appearance.

She said: “As Christians we’ve got the amazing word. One of the scriptures that I love reading at the moment is Psalm 139…it’s about how God formed us and knows every part of us and he carefully, skilfully shaped us from nothing into something and having that as testament to who we are as individuals.

“We’re all meant to be different – we’re meant to look different…with this procedure being available in such a way, we are going down the route of all wanting to have the same sort of hairline, the same eyebrows, so it’s a shame.

According to Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the group supporting Phillips, he was targeted by an attorney who asked him to create a cake designed pink on the inside and blue on the outside, which was to celebrate a gender transition from male to female.

The owner of Masterpiece cake shop declined the request stating the cake would have expressed messages about sex and gender identity that conflict with his religious beliefs.

Despite his earlier victory at the Supreme Court, the State of Colorado ruled that there was “probable cause” to believe that the law requires him to make the cake. The ruling means he now will face a new lawsuit in court.

Responding, ADF Senior Vice President of US Legal Division Kristen Waggoner, said: “The state of Colorado is ignoring the message of the US Supreme Court by continuing to single out Jack for punishment and to exhibit hostility toward his religious beliefs.

“Even though Jack serves all customers and simply declines to create custom cakes that express messages or celebrate events in violation of his deeply held beliefs, the government is intent on destroying him – something the Supreme Court has already told it not to do.

“Neither Jack nor any other creative professionals should be targeted by the government for living consistently with their religious beliefs.”

The 77-year-old singer sued over BBC coverage of a South Yorkshire Police search of his home in Sunningdale, Berkshire, in August 2014, following a child sex assault allegation.

Earlier this month Mr Justice Mann ruled in Sir Cliff’s favour following a High Court trial in London.

The judge concluded the BBC’s coverage was a “very serious” invasion of the singer’s privacy and awarded Sir Cliff £210,000 damages.

He said the award would be made up of £190,000 to cover the “general effect” coverage had on Sir Cliff’s life, plus £20,000 because the BBC had aggravated harm by nominating coverage for an award.

The BBC was refused permission to challenge the ruling by Mr Justice Mann at a hearing in July.

In a statement on Wednesday, the corporation announced it would no longer be pursuing an appeal against the judgment.

Instead, Director General Tony Hall has written to the Attorney General Geoffrey Cox QC and asked him to consider a review of the law on naming people involved in police investigations.

The organisation reiterated its view that the ruling “represents a dramatic shift against press freedom”.

Mr Justice Mann previously said his judgment did not amount to a “blanket” restriction on journalists.

The Pope will be visiting the country for the World Meeting of Families on August 25th for a two-day visit.

The emoji, which features the leader of the Catholic Church’s face against a backdrop of the Irish flag, was made available on Tuesday and can be triggered by using the hashtags #PopeInIreland, #PápaInÉirinn, #WMOF2018 and #FestivalOfFamilies.

Rev Rupert Kalus, of Lanchester and Burnhope Benefice, and the Rev Ali Miller were both married when they started the affair, which has now ended, a Diocese of Durham spokesman said.

The Bishop of Durham, Rt Rev Paul Butler (pictured below), broke the news to parishioners at a service on Sunday.

Following an investigation by the Church of England, both the vicar and the curate have been suspended from public ministry.

Mr Kalus was suspended for 18 months and Ms Miller for twelve months.

A Diocese of Durham spokesman described the affair as “adulterous” and said the organisation was “deeply saddened” by events.

He said: “Following the procedures of the Clergy Discipline Measure, the Bishop of Durham has prohibited both Rupert and Ali from their public ministry for a period of 18 and 12 months respectively.

“They have both therefore had to resign their posts.

“The Rt Rev Paul Butler, Bishop of Durham, confirmed these facts to the congregation at the normal Sunday service which he led on Sunday 12th August.

“We are deeply saddened that this situation has arisen and ask that you respect the privacy of both families and hold them in your prayers.”
