Thought For The Day: Nothing punctures destiny like iniquity.

Yesterday, it was established that mentality is a major factor for destiny fulfilment. We also saw how the devil can truncate a person’s destiny by saturating his mind with iniquity. The fact is, nothing punctures destiny like iniquity.

Today, we shall look at other factors that assist destiny fulfilment, and they are: Vision and integrity.

Vision:

Vision is a mental picture of a preferred future. Your vision determines your future. What you see determines what you seize.

That is why when the devil wants to frustrate a man’s destiny; he organizes iniquity to attack his vision. Many people’s vision changed immediately they received an immoral friend into their lives, or entered into a fraudulent or dishonest association.

Solomon had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines; he married and married until his vision for life became marriage.

When there is vision, there is focus; and focus guarantees destiny fulfilment (Matthew 6:22).

Integrity:

This is possessing high moral principles; it is the neatness of soul and spirit. Integrity is a factor for destiny fulfilment. The purer gold is, the more valuable it would be. That is why gold is purified so its worth and value can be maximized. So, when a person is insincere, dishonest, fraudulent, murderous, or does anything that defiles the conscience, he is corrupting the value of his destiny. Samson for example was destroyed because he allowed filthiness in his life.

So, the dirtier a person’ life, the more destroyed or corrupted his destiny.

Remember this: Nothing punctures destiny like iniquity.

Assignment (S):

1. Write out your vision and pursue it until it becomes a reality.
2. Delete whatever you do not want to see from your mind.
3. Avoid the company of sinners.

Topic: The Third ‘’P’’ of Joseph [Our Daily Manna ODM Wednesday, February 14th, 2018]

Basic Scripture: Genesis 39: 19-23

The third ‘’P’’ of Joseph is ‘’The Prison’’ (satanic cages). Note that, a prison is a place of confinement, restriction, and limitation! It is a cage that hides your true self and gives you a false image or picture of your real identity! It is a place that can render a place a great destiny and star impotent. It is a place or land of forgetfulness, rejection and abandonment! It’s a place where your voice is not heard!

The worst prison is not the physical prison but the spiritual prison! Many people are in one form of spiritual prison or the other and they are ignorant! In this New Year 2018, the enemy may be planning the prison or cage life for you. But any physical, spiritual, financial, marital, academic, career, health and business prison programmed for you shall scatter and expire in Jesus name! Listen to this: God of the mountains and the hills is still God in the valley!

The God of the palace is still the God in the prison (cage)! But hear the conclusion of any satanic plan to cage your destiny: ‘’But the lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison’’ (Genesis 39:21). Ah! There is a but that will encounter every satanic plan against you this year! But the Lord was with Joseph! Oh!

I am excited that your God will not leave you at the mercy of your enemies! There is a but between their plans and His plans! He will show up for you even at the last minute! That is why you must never give up trusting him and don’t miss the Asaba anointing service of this weekend! I shall lay hands on everyone as I am commanded. Come with your 2018 prayer points again and limitations will scatter!

An extra copy will provoke an extra decoration for you! The Lord said this at the last world anointing night! This is your year!

Topic: The Advance Team [Our Daily Bread 14 Wednesday February, 2018]

My Father’s house has many rooms; . . . I am going there to prepare a place for you. John 14:2

A friend recently prepared to relocate to a city more than 1,000 miles from her current hometown. She and her husband divided the labor of moving to accommodate a short timeline. He secured new living arrangements, while she packed their belongings. I was astounded by her ability to move without previewing the area or participating in the house hunt, and asked how she could do so. She acknowledged the challenge but said she knew she could trust her husband because of his attention to her preferences and needs over their years together.

In the upper room, Jesus spoke with His disciples of His coming betrayal and death. The darkest hours of Jesus’s earthly life, and that of the disciples as well, lay ahead. He comforted them with the assurance that He would prepare a place for them in heaven, just as my friend’s husband prepared a new home for their family. When the disciples questioned Jesus, He pointed them to their mutual history and the miracles they’d witnessed Him perform. Though they would grieve Jesus’s death and absence, He reminded them He could be counted on to do as He’d said.

Even in the midst of our own dark hours, we can trust Him to lead us forward to a place of goodness. As we walk with Him, we too will learn to trust increasingly in His faithfulness.

Prayer: Help me, Lord, to lean on You when my life feels uncertain and hard. You are trustworthy and good.

We can trust God to lead us through difficult times.

Topic: Challenge The Status Quo [TREM’s Daily Wednesday February 14, 2018]

“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus”. Matthew 14:29 (KJV)

The first key to stepping into the water or breaking barriers is to recognize what God has put inside you. The second key to stepping into the water, as demonstrated by Peter in Mathew Chapter 14, is that you must make up your mind to challenge the status quo. Whenever you settle for the status quo, your life will end uneventfully. All the disciples were comfortable inside the boat but Peter dared to walk out. It was a risk because he had never walked on water before. But it paid off!

Beloved, stop rehearsing how you failed in time past. Rather, begin to look at the future and make necessary preparations. This is the time to review, re-strategise and re-launch. Yes, you can still spring a surprise. For instance, the man Zacchaeus in the scriptures (Luke 19) knew he had a challenge. He was very short and could not see what others were seeing. He made up his mind to change his situation. He re-strategised by going ahead of the crowd. He went ahead to wait for them in the “future”. That was the game changer. He climbed a tree and from the treetop, he could now see beyond what they could see. He challenged the status-quo and got the attention of Jesus’

I challenge you to stop going around in circles. Break out of your comfort zone and break barriers. Step into the deep waters and stop fishing at the shoreline. Great things happen only in deep waters. Refuse to allow another person tell you that there is nothing you can do. You can do something. The answer is inside you waiting for expression. I am in a hurry to read about your exploits on the pages of newspapers. We have been reading about people on the internet and about other people’s testimony. It is time for your testimony.

Topic: Love Is the Power Charge [Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Wednesday January 14, 2018]

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. – John 15:12-13

Love. It is the first and foremost command Jesus gave us, yet all too many believers neglect to follow it.

I’m talking about believers who can quote tremendous amounts of scripture and who may speak the Name of Jesus 35 or 40 times a day, yet they’re rough and insensitive to the needs of their friends and family. They’re so busy “serving God,” they don’t have time to serve people. Strife is their hallmark.

You may have been saved 45 years; you may talk in tongues all day long; but if you have strife in your heart and you’re not living by the love commandment of Jesus, spiritual things are foolishness to you.

When you’re in that condition, the Name of Jesus won’t work. Faith won’t work because the Bible says that faith works by love. In fact, none of the gifts of the Spirit will work if you don’t have love. First Corinthians 13 says so.

Do you want to see the incredible power of God released through your life? Then start putting the love command in action. Start loving those around you.

Love is the power charge, friend. God’s power package just won’t work without it. That’s why we’ve seen so many power failures in the Body of Christ. Starting today, you and I can turn those failures around. We can make up our minds to let the Word dwell richly within us. We can set our hearts on keeping the commands of Jesus and speak His Name with confidence and authority. And, most important of all, we can begin to love one another.

Then we will truly see the power of God begin to flow.

Topic: God’s Word Has No Limits [Andrew Wommack’s Daily Wednesday February 14, 2018]

John 4:50, “Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.”

Text: John 4:46-54

Jesus didn’t have to touch the child. He didn’t have to send anything home with the father to affect the cure. All He did was speak and the son was instantly healed (v. 53).

This man had traveled over fifteen miles from Capernaum to Cana to find Jesus. Therefore, the son was not within ‘earshot” so that Jesus’ words sparked some cord of hope in his heart, thereby releasing God’s power. No, Jesus’ spoken word had so much power that no barriers (such as time or space) had any affect on it whatsoever.

This is hard for us to comprehend. We spend an entire lifetime learning physical limitations and adapting to them. But there are no limits to the power of God’s word. Jesus created everything in this physical universe by His words, and that creation will respond to anything He says.

The Lord gave His Word to the Jews but they didn’t believe it. Hebrews 4:2 says, “…the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].” We have been given God’s words too, in the Bible. If we will speak God’s Word in faith, we will get the same results that Jesus did here.

Topic: The Mystery of His Love [Billy Graham’s Daily Wednesday February 14th, 2018]

I have loved thee with an everlasting love . . . — Jeremiah 31:3

No human experience can fully illustrate the imputed righteousness of God, as conceived by His infinite love. It is a mystery-incomprehensible and inexplicable. Like the mystery of the sun’s heat and light, we cannot measure it or explain it, and yet we could not live without it.

Writing of the mystery of completed righteousness, Paul said, “We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. . . . But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:7, 9). What God has wrought in us is wonderful. But His work has just begun. He has a wonderful, exciting, thrilling future for all of His believing children.

Prayer For The Day: My finite mind cannot grasp all there is in store for those of us who love You—but this does not take away the joy and expectation all Your love has prepared—everlastingly!
