DCLM Daily Manna 31 July, 2017 by Pastor Kumuyi – Believers’ Inheritance

Topic: Believers’ Inheritance [Monday July 31, 2017]

Text: Genesis 25:1-11

Key Verse: “And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac” (Genesis 25:5).

A rich man had only one child and many servants. He appointed a favoured servant among his numerous servants as the captain over all other servants, and put all his inheritance under the care of this servant. While on his dying bed, he invited his only child and asked him to pick just one thing out of all his inheritance.

The young man, after much reflection, decided to pick the favoured servant. He was convinced that once he chose the favoured servant, he had inherited all his father’s riches. From the text today, we see how Abraham wisely settled his house before he passed on to glory. While he gave gifts to other children, he gave all that he had unto Isaac, through whom the Abrahamic covenant was to be fulfilled. He knew that, “Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children…” (Proverbs 13:22). Jesus is the only Son of God and He is the sum-total of God’s riches.

We can now inherit the riches of God the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, in whom we have obtained an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled. Jesus is the only Gateway through which we can have unrestricted access to the riches of God. To be a partaker of God’s inheritance through Christ, a sinner needs to confess and forsake his sins and plead for forgiveness. Grace is offered commonly to all mankind regardless of race and status. GRACE is God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.

You need this grace to make your life here on earth worthwhile and in the life to come, everlasting joy. You can appropriate this grace into your life now and become a member of God’s family, heir of the Father and joint-heir with the Son.

Thought for the day: Family inheritance is meant for children of the family, not strangers.

Open Heavens 31 July 2017: Monday daily devotional by Pastor Adeboye – Provision Before Need

Topic: Provision Before Need [Monday 31, July 2017]

Memorise: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  –  2 Peter 1:3

Read: 2 Peter 1:1-4 (KJV)

1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Bible in One Year: 1 Kings 9-10; Ezekiel 18:1-18, Hymn: Sing hymn 10: There Shall be Showers of Blessing

MESSAGE:

“God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.” – Psalm 46:5

From the above passage of Scripture, one great benefit available to those who have God as their Refuge is that the help or assistance they need will never be late. There are at least three different times an individual can receive assistance. It could be before, during or after one experiences a need. If a need or an emergency arises today and you already have the wherewithal to meet that need, maybe from your earnings from paid employment or a business venture, you have already received help before that need arose.  This is a great place to be in! Some families already have all they will never need to take care of their children and pay their way up to post-graduate degree programmes, even before this need arises. Such people will never panic for school fees. This is an example of provision before need, and it describes a state of living in abundance. You will experience such in Jesus’ Name!

Moreover, do you know that God follows this same pattern in dealing with His children? For example, before God created Adam and Eve, all they would ever need had been provided for in the Garden of Eden which God Himself planted. God knows exactly what you need even before you express or voice out your request (Matthew 6:32). Do you know that God has already provided all you would ever need to live a victorious Christian life and fulfil your God-given destiny? The Holy Spirit speaks about this to us in 2 Peter 1:3, where He says:

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

It is therefore possible for you to be a beneficiary of provision before need. However, one major challenge for most people with regards to this benefit is that when there is provision to meet their future needs, they become careless, frivolous and wasteful. When God provides ahead of time, it is possible to spend it on other things outside of God’s purpose. You therefore need divine guidance even in plenty. Having abundance does not justify wastefulness in God’s Kingdom. However, to partake of this great benefit, you need to increase your knowledge of the Provider, walk in obedience to Him, follow spiritual financial principles and wait on His directives always.

Prayer Point: What some people waste daily is more than enough to feed several needy, hungry people. To trigger blessings from the Lord, such excess should be spent on meeting the needs of others.

Our Daily Manna July 30, 2017: ODM devotional – The Thief That Was Envied!

What you don’t qualify for shall become your possession by the mercy of God from this day! What is hard for others will become bread for you!

Topic: The Thief That Was Envied! [Sunday 30 July, 2017]

(Hebrews 11:8-16)

Welcome to today’s devotional encounter! It is just so amazing that the Lord would allow a common criminal who probably had sent some innocent souls to an early grave, to make paradise in 24 hours! Remember that Moses with all his 80 days fasting (He did 40 days twice), could barely make it to the Promised Land. In fact, at his death, Satan was demanding an illegal hold on his body (Jude:9) and he nearly sent him to hell instead of Paradise. It took a strong archangel, Michael, to deliver Moses into paradise. Yet this thief-turned-believer made paradise in 24 hours. That was the same paradise that Abraham entered by the delay of a quarter of a century in waiting for Isaac.

That was the same paradise that Jeremiah entered via severe persecution and pain. At a stage, Jeremiah said, he was no more going to mention the name of the Lord. It was the same paradise that Esther entered via a very strange marriage which denied her of basic marital rites. Oh! It was the same paradise that all the holy prophets of old entered via long delays, pain, affliction and battles. Today’s scripture verse 13 says: “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth” Can you imagine that? Yet this man died instantly and made heaven!

The Holy Ghost is sending a word to the user of today’s devotional: You shall overtake your superiors from this day in Jesus Christ name! What you don’t qualify for shall become your possession by the mercy of God from this day! What is hard for others will become bread for you! Where others are sweating will be the place where you will soar! Yea! Men and Women shall begin to envy you because, favor instead of labor will have taken over your life and ministry! What is taking others 20 years shall take you 20 minutes from this hour!

Heaven shall shorten your miracle time in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Your life shall redefine the words, “MERCY and GRACE” because the everlasting compassion of Jehovah God shall be zoomed towards your star from this day in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The mercy on that thief-turned- believer is locating you and all your now. This is your hour! This is your day!! This is your year!!!

Joyce Meyer's Daily 30 July 2017 Devotional – The Gift of Repentance

Topic: The Gift of Repentance [Sunday July 30, 2017]

If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. — 2 Chronicles 7:14

When I am headed in the wrong direction, I thank God for the ability to turn around and go in the right direction. That is actually what true repentance is. It is not just a feeling of being sorry, but also a decision to turn and go in the right direction from now on.

We get into trouble through making a series of wrong decisions, and with God’s help, we will get our lives straightened out by a series of right decisions. It took more than a day to get into trouble, and it will take more than a day to get out.

Anyone who is ready and willing to make a real investment of time and right choices can see his or her life turn around for the better. God’s mercy is new every day. He is waiting to give you mercy, grace, favor, and help; all you have to do is be thankful for that mercy and say “yes” to whatever God is asking of you.

Prayer of Thanks: Thank You, Father, for the new starts You provide in my life. Help me realize when I do wrong, then help me repent and begin again. I am so grateful for Your mercies that are new every morning in my life.

DCLM Daily Manna 30 July, 2017 by Pastor Kumuyi – Divine Escort

Topic: Divine Escort [Sunday July 30, 2017]

Text: Exodus 23:20-33

Key Verse: “Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared” (Exodus 23:20).

Having delivered the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh, the Lord kept on leading them through Moses towards the Promised Land. This time around, He decided to lead them by His Angel. He promised to send His Angel to lead and keep Israel through the wilderness into the land of Canaan, the land He had promised and prepared for them.

The Lord warned them not to provoke the Angel. For us, believers, we are not to grieve the Holy Spirit. Provoking the Angel of the Lord, would bring great punishment on Israel. The Lord also forewarned them not to serve the idols of the inhabitants of Canaan. They were to serve Him only, the true and living God. After the warning, He promised them that He would bless their bread and water, prevent all forms of epidemic from visiting them, give them good health and healing as well as fruitfulness both in body and spirit. He also laid bare His security plan for them.

He would make them conquer and subdue their enemies not by their own weapons, but by the terror He would lay on the enemies’ hearts and by sending hornets to scare them away. God told them the reason why He would not drive out all their enemies at once, but gradually. It was to preserve the nation of Israel from the beasts of the land that might gather themselves together to exterminate them. A loving God indeed we have, who will never leave His people alone on their journeys in this wilderness called life. His Holy Spirit has been appointed to lead and comfort us.

We must make sure that we do not grieve His Spirit. Sin grieves the Holy Spirit; therefore avoid it like a dreaded plague.

Thought for the day: If God be for us, who can be against us?

Seeds of Destiny 30 July 2017 Devotional by Pastor Paul Enenche: The Voice Of God – Container Of Supernatural Supplies

Topic: The Voice Of God – Container Of Supernatural Supplies [Sunday July 30, 2017]

Scripture: …cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money…. Matthew 17:27

Thought For The Day: The Voice of God travels in the atmosphere of worship.

The Voice of God is pregnant with provisions and supplies. The Voice of God contains all that is needed by man to survive and flourish on earth. The Voice of God is a key to supernatural breakthroughs and supplies.

When Peter was asked to pay tax in Matthew Chapter 17, Jesus sent him to the sea of Tiberias to catch a fish, open its mouth and get the money needed for the payment of the tax (Mathew 17:27).

Only God knows the sea that carries the fish that holds your money. He knows the business endeavour and the location where your billions can be made. One revealed idea from God can make you a billionaire. It is a futile effort to be looking for money where it is not.

So, sensitivity to the Voice of God is critical for existence in the realm of unlimited supplies (Psalm 23:1-2).

Now, we will be looking at other secrets to spiritual sensitivity in addition to the ones we have seen in previous days.

1. The atmosphere of worship: There is a connection between just a song and the Voice of God. You shall have a song, and the Lord shall cause His glorious Voice to be heard (Isaiah 30:29-30). So, the Voice of God travels in the atmosphere of worship. When Elisha needed to prophesy in 2 Kings 3:14-15, he asked for a minstrel (a worshipper) to play.

2. Submission to spiritual instruction: God uses the voice of your pastor to talk to you. While preaching is going on, God can make you hear something else concerning your life and destiny (Isaiah 30:20-21).

3. The atmosphere of fasting: The fast is key to light (Isaiah 58:6,8); it sharpens spiritual sensitivity.

4. The attitude of enquiry: When you ask God for direction in a specific area, He will show you through any means He considers necessary (Jeremiah 6:16).

I declare that God will show you the direction of where your resources are, in Jesus’ Name:

Remember this: The Voice of God travels in the atmosphere of worship.

Billy Graham’s Daily 30 July 2017 Devotional – A Covenant With Eyes

Topic: A Covenant With Eyes [Sunday July 30, 2017]

Keep thyself pure. — 1 Timothy 5:22

Someone has said, “You cannot help the first look, but the second is sin.” Jesus indicated that you can engage in immorality by a look. The Bible places the “lust of the eye” right along with other major sins. Listen: “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” Peter spoke of having “eyes full of adultery.” No wonder Job said, “I have made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?” Your eyes see only what your soul allows them to see.

Prayer for the day: May my eyes be on You, Lord Jesus, for I need Your purity and love to fill my heart and mind.

Winning Wisdom: Preach The Gospel

Topic: Preach The Gospel [Sunday, 30th July 2017]

Ese Ehimare Dave

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2

There is one thing that is paramount for us and that is preaching the gospel. This importance was emphasized in 2 Corinthians 5:17-18, when, after we are made new creatures, we were immediately handed the task of reconciling men unto God. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” This shows the immediacy God attaches to the preaching of the gospel.

The preaching of the gospel is very important because it is God’s medium to bring salvation that the world desperately needs. It is the miraculous power of God to vitalise dead lives. Jesus said in John 5:25: “verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” We are the voice of the Lord here on earth (2 Corinthians 5:20). And when we preach the gospel we are giving the Lord the opportunity to bring people to life from the dead.

The preaching of the gospel does not have anything to do with how long a believer has been in Christ. If a man gets saved today, he is well capable of preaching the gospel. The woman at Jacob’s well in John 4 encountered the gospel. Immediately, she went into the town to preach about Jesus, telling the people of what Jesus has done. So, it doesn’t matter if you just encountered the salvation of Christ, go ahead and preach the gospel that saved you. Don’t be shy, but create the atmosphere for the power of God that engenders salvation reach out to people (Romans 1:16).

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord for empowering me to preach the gospel. I am excited to create the atmosphere where Your power can vitalise the lives of people. I am an agent of Your global change going on right now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Benefits Of A Christian Ambassador

A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Benefits Of A Christian Ambassador [30/07/2017]

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Read: – Matt 6:33

There are so many benefits a true ambassador stands to gain from his or her own government. But first and foremost, the interest of the government that sent an ambassador must be the most important thing in his or her life. He or she must do everything possible to see that the interest and the protection of his or her fellow countrymen is guaranteed. Any ambassador that fails in his or duty must face the music. When you fail in your responsibility to your government, you are on your own. If you abandon your country’s interest and begin to run after shadow, your country would also abandon their own commitments towards you.

Every country is responsible for the upkeep of their ambassadors. Another benefit to a true ambassador is that, what affect others (whether in his or her own country or the one assigned) never affects him or her. As long as he or she remains faithful to keeping and defending the interest of his or her country in that foreign land, he or she shall never be cut off supply. While others are living in penury, an ambassador shall be living in abundance. If you are a true Christian ambassador, you don’t live by earthly economy but heaven’s economy. The recession on earthly economy should not affect you because in your country – heaven, there is no recession. While the people of the earth are saying there is a casting down, you as a Christian ambassador should be saying there is a lifting up. Job 22:29

#BiblePromisesPrayer

* Father, as Your ambassador to this earth, let not economy downturn in the nation affect me in any way in Jesus Mighty Name.
