Christian Post Report – Atheist author Richard Dawkins said in Twitter messages on Monday that Islam continues to uphold punishments such as stonings, and preaches about world domination, while Christianity and Judaism have moved away from such “Middle Ages” teachings.

“Laws designed for 7th-Century tribal desert society are not always well suited to modern conditions. Jews & Christians mostly realise this,” Dawkins wrote in a post.

“Yes, Christianity & Judaism are every bit as stupid as Islam. But they don’t preach world domination, theocratically imposed law, stoning, etc.,” he added in a follow-up post. “And yes, Christianity and Judaism USED TO preach equally terrible things. But we live NOW, not in the Middle Ages. That’s kind of relevant.”

Dawkins has criticized Islam on a number of occasions in recent months, and in January said that not all religions are equally violent.

“No, all religions are NOT equally violent. Some have never been violent, some gave it up centuries ago. One religion conspicuously didn’t,” Dawkins wrote following the terror attacks in Paris in January that left 17 people dead.

“Of COURSE most Muslims are peaceful. But if someone’s killed for what they drew or said or wrote, you KNOW the religion of the killers.”

And back in October 2014, the author of The God Delusion stated that 17-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai might leave her religion when she grows older.

“Of course Malala is religious now but give her time, she’s only 17 & getting the education she fought for on behalf of girls like her,” he tweeted at the time.

He later clarified that he was not criticizing Yousafzai, but defending her from others that attacked her for her faith.

“I congratulated Malala. People then attacked her for wearing hijab. I DEFENDED her; she’s only 17. So I was attacked for ‘attacking’ her,” he said.

Block Bot, a program that hides people on Twitter deemed to be offensive or abusive, placed Dawkins on its list back in March, after other users accused him of being racist and a “rape-apologist.”

The atheist professor shot back and said that he objects against libel.

“I have no objection to being blocked. Please block me if you wish. What I object to is being libelled, and linked with spammers and harassers,” Dawkins said in response.

“People are confusing the act of blocking, with libelling those blocked. Blocking is fine. Block me and I won’t miss you. Libelling is not,” he added.

Fans of the hit crime fighting TV drama series “Gotham” should expect for more Batman comic villains to appear in the show when it opens for its brand new second season.

“Clayface and Mad Hatter are both villains we’re going to bring in [as well]. They both have great backstories and great personalities. Clayface especially is a character I want to [explore the origin of],” he told Screen Rant.

The publication went on to point out the previous rumors about the arrival of supervillain Mr. Freeze, which Stephens also hinted in the event.

“We always want to walk the fine line of the reality of our world. Walking right up to that line where super-villains live. So there are a lot of characters from Batman lore that fit that bill. People like Victor Fries – who’s a science villain. You can play a lot of his abilities without going into the world of superheroes,” he added.

There’s also the pressing matter of corruption happening within the Dark Knight’s beloved city in which Stephens teased might also involve the Court of Owls.

“It’s clear that there is a group of shadowy individuals that control and influence Wayne Enterprise and have great power in Gotham and may or may not be connected to Carmine Falcone. Is that The Court of Owls? Maybe… Keep watching and those questions will be answered,” he went on to say.

“Gotham” Season 2 is confirmed to debut Wayne Enterprise’s tech whiz, Lucius Fox, who will be played by Chris Chalk. Also slated to return are primary characters James Gordon (played by Ben McKenzie), Det. Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), and more others.

“Gotham” Season 2 premieres this Monday, April 13 on FOX.

Sadie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” appeared on “Good Morning America,” revealing the inspiration behind her viral YouTube video on Monday.

Christian Post Report – Earlier this month, Robertson went make-up free in a seven-minute video posted to YouTube that encouraged viewers to “live original.” Furthermore, the 17-year-old addressed body image and revealed finding strength in her faith. After the clip received over 2.5 million views, the “Duck Dynasty” star was invited to “GMA” where she shared even more about the message.

“I was kinda preaching to myself, a message that I needed to hear,” Robertson recalled of recording the message for fans on YouTube. “Then my little sister came home from church and watched it. She said, ‘Sadie that’s really good, you should post it,’ so I posted it and the next thing I know, I’m on ‘Good Morning America’ talking about it.”

The teen model is best known for starring on A&E’s “Duck Dynasty,” but Sadie has also appeared on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Consequently, the starlet has accumulated thousands of young fans who consider her a role model. In the viral video, Robertson used “straight up honesty” with her fans about her own struggle with jealousy and confidence problems.

“For girls, no matter who you are or what position you’re in, everybody struggles with insecurities and everybody kinda compares themselves to somebody else, whether they want to admit it or not,” Robertson continued while on “GMA.”

The tell-all video also left viewers with a strong message of faith with Robertson encouraging viewers to embrace their flaws and find confidence in God.

“I just wanted people to know that no matter who you are, you can’t reach it by comparing yourself to other humans,” the reality star noted on the morning show. “And for me, I found that going through God was the best way that I could do it.”

Meanwhile, Robertson’s YouTube post also included several quotes from Scripture relating to jealousy as well as worry. Today, the post continues to garner millions of views and comments. Watch the clip here.

Christian Post Report – Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose informed the press that his return from a meniscectomy procedure will “probably” happen this week.

“If anything, I’m just trying to get my mental [approach] together so when I come back it won’t be like my previous times,” the 26-year-old NBA player told ESPN. “I think I was away from the game too long [during] previous injuries, and with me missing five, six, seven weeks now, I think that my return is about to be [smoother].”

The 2011 Most Valuable Player further said that he and the franchise he’s playing in were “taking it day by day, really day by day” with regards to his return.

Rose has been out from the court since he underwent the procedure to correct his knee problems on Feb. 27. Prior to his latest setback, he was side-lined in April 2012 for the medial meniscus on the left knee and then on the right side back in November 2013.

Despite all the setbacks that he and the Bulls suffered, Rose didn’t let all the pressure get over him.

“I’m playing all right,” he continued. “For a guy that missed two years, coming back and just being able to be with these guys and still being on the game plan. What do you know, missed two years and still be on the game plan … the team is preparing for you? I’m just grateful for that. I’m grateful to still be able to play this game.”

Coach Tom Thibodeau meanwhile chimed in to speak about Rose’s recovery on Sunday.

“Only he knows his body, and that’s the big thing,” Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said before Sunday’s game. “So he’s got to continue to work through it, and I trust him. When he says, he’s ready.”

“The Big Bang Theory” star, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, once again blasted rumors that her marriage with tennis player Ryan Sweeting is on the rocks.

A report from Film-News UK cited Kaley’s latest social media post saying that all these speculations about her marriage had “only makes us stronger.”

“I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet – this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant ‘conversation’ regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make,” she said.

“I’m so proud of his passion and his inner strength to fight back, but most of all I am proud to be his wife,” she wrote on her Instagram. “So all of you who take it upon yourselves to trash our marriage, daily workings of our relationship and everything in between, go ahead and keep doing it, cause it only makes us stronger.”

The 29-year-old shared a pic of her husband in action, most probably during a tennis match, along with the lengthy caption above.

“If you were smart, you would take a look at your own marriage, relationship, job etc,, instead of focusing on someone else’s. You might be surprised at what you find,” she went on to say. “You know my name, not my story.”

Speculations previously pointed out the rumors stating that the couple were arguing over the issue of when they should really start building their family.

On Thursday, last week, she shared a photo of herself kissing Sweeting and captioned it with:

“We are totally getting divorced, can’t you tell!!?!”

The actress also bashed the rumors of her getting pregnant by adding the hashtag “#notpregnant.”

Then, Davis shows up and talks about Will cheating on Sonny with Paul and accuses him of blackmailing Paul to come out. Will goes for Davis, and Davis says that he knows a hotel employee who can prove it. Ben and Chad team up against Davis and John asks him to leave or he’ll arrest him.

Victor demands to know if Will cheated on his grandson. Maggie pulls him away and John asks Paul to leave. Victor turns to Lucas and tells him that his son will pay for what he did.

Christian Post Report – The cast of Guardians of the Galaxy will reprise their roles in the sequel, slated for a 2017 release

James Gunn, director of the successful “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie and sometimes considered a maverick in the film industry, recently came out and shared with fans some details about the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel. While Marvel Studios chooses to keep things hush-hush in most of its movie projects, Gunn has broken the mold once again by allowing himself to be interviewed about the movie.

In a recent interview done using a new livestreaming app called Periscope, Gunn gamely shared the status of the film’s script. He said that he was 70 pages into the script and he has lined up various meetings with Marvel folks this week to plan out how he will implement his plans for the movie.

He also acknowledged that the studio had earlier called his plan as “very risky” but that they “trust him and was okay with his seemingly radical plan.”

The sequel “is not really based on anything. The story for Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1, and it’ll answer some of the questions that were put forth in the first movie about Peter Quill’s father and who he is and what’s going on with that,” he previously told Screen Crush.

Another revelation is about two new characters who will important to Guardians movies as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He did not reveal who these two new characters are during the interview, however. One of the things he confirmed is the return of Nebula, played by Karen Gillan. Nebula is the adopted sister of Gamora, one of the Guardians played by Zoe Saldana. Some speculations says that perhaps the two will pick up where they left off in the first movie. Ronan, the other villain who made an appearance in the first movie, will not come back as he was killed off the first time around.

Shooting is set to begin in February 2016 at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. It is slated for a May 5, 2017 release.

Christian Post Report – Android Lollipop update is available for Verizon customers with Samsung Galaxy S5 devices

Android 5.0 Lollipop updates have rolled out intermittently for several of Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones, with network carriers making the update available for a majority of the manufacturer’s handset variations than most.

With the latest version of the Android mobile OS, Android 5.0 Lollipop, initially made available in November 2014 for smartphone users, its latest round of release in March 9, covered nearly four percent of all Android devices that have access to Google Play, which includes most Samsung Galaxy handsets.

Samsung Galaxy S5 affiliated carriers have already released their updates for Android 5.0 Lollipop, except for AT&T, which issued a statement last month they were still going through the update to search for possible bugs, and have not given out any information on their progress since then.

Android 5.0 Lollipop is available for Samsung Galaxy S4 in a number of regions, including several areas in Europe and Asia, with U.S. and Canada users still awaiting word on when the update will be released for their S4 handsets.

No information is yet forthcoming on when the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be getting its own Android update, but tech insiders are speculating there may be no chance the aging device will be getting its own update anytime soon. With Samsung’s efforts focused on the release of its latest flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S6, pushing for Android 5.0 Lollipop on the S3 may be the least of the South Korean multinational’s concerns.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport exclusively distributed by Sprint is already running the Android Lollipop, while the Active, Alpha and Mini will soon be getting their own updates, as well. However, Samsung has yet to release a timeframe on the latter three, so users may continue to stay tuned this month for more news on the latest Android OS updates for their devices.

Customers waiting for new of pre-order dates for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge won’t have to worry about uploading the Android 5.0 Lollipop on the new devices which will ship by April 10 with the latest update already installed.

Hayden leaves and Ric arrives. He tells Liz about his meeting with Cameron before walking away. Nikolas arrives and tells Liz that he’ll keep an eye on his son.

Yacht Games Club will releasing “Shovel Knight” on Sony game platforms this month, the independent game developer tweeted on its social media account over the weekend.

“Shovel Knight,” a 2D side-scrolling video game published by Yacht Games Club, will be making its way to Sony Platforms on April 21, including PlayStation Vita, a post on the independent game developer’s Twitter account announced Sunday.

Originally released for Microsoft Windows, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, with Linux and OS X following soon after, “Shovel Knight” made its debut in June 2014 to critical acclaim, receiving nominations and awards for its stunning graphics and design, wide-ranging gameplay, dramatic soundtrack, excellent controls, and engaging characters.

Selling nearly 180,000 copies in the month of its launch in North America, “Shovel Knight” was dubbed one of the best games released in 2014, and “a brilliant homage to a bygone era, yet an equally fresh, captivating and innovative game,” an IGN review stated. By the end of 2014, the game had sold over 300,000 copies across the platforms it was available in, making a success of Yacht Games Club first published game title.

The storyline centers on two adventurers, Shovel Knight and Shield Knight who journey the world together until a cursed amulet downs Shield Knight and leaves Shovel Knight stranded outside the Tower of Fate. Shovel Knight then embarks on a quest to defeat the evil Enchantress responsible, battling members of “The Order of No Quarter,” with the ultimate goal of rescuing Shield Knight in the end.

With positive reviews giving the game a 90/100 rating on Metacritic, and a 9/10 score on IGN, “Shovel Knight” fans and Sony game console users can rest easy their favorite title will soon become more accessible in two weeks’ time.
