Michelle Williams Holds Fan Competition for ‘Believe In Me’ Music Video

Michelle Williams is back with her fourth solo album “Journey To Freedom.”

Christian Post Report – Michelle Williams is allowing her fans to participate in her next music video for the single, “Believe In Me.”

Williams, the 34-year-old singer, is gearing up to film the music video for her latest single. Before she does, she is allowing fans to record themselves singing the tune which could become a part of the montage featured in the official “Believe In Me” music video.

The singer’s official website outlines the rules of the competition, which will allow people from all ages, backgrounds, locations, ethnicities, occupations and genders to participate.

“We want the videos to feel very raw and natural so no big productions please. You can sing by yourself or with other people as well,” Williams’ website states. “If your video is selected we are going to edit a clip of your submission together along with other fan submitted videos along with Michelle singing the song in a similar way to create an official music video for the record (ala Pharrell – Happy or Nickelback – Rockstar).”

The deadline for the competition is April 5.

Williams previously spoke with The Christian Post about her latest single, which is the most personal on her record, “Journey To Freedom.” She described penning “Believe in Me,” the song she most connects with on her album.

“People might tell you ‘oh my gosh you’re great, you have a great calling on your life,’ or ‘Oh your hair is so pretty today'” Williams told CP. “…If I come to you and give you a compliment, it probably should be confirmation of what you already know. I just did not believe, I didn’t think I was as good as other people around me.”

However, God showed Williams just how wrong she was.

“God keeps showing me time after time with the different things that He does in the industry that He’s with me and that He believes in me,” she told CP. “I know that it’s only Him that makes a way.”

Williams grew up in church all of her life and came to realize that her faith in God must also be evident in the belief she has in herself.

“He is real, and if God is real and He continues to bless me and allows me to do what I love, than I need to believe in me,” she told CP. “I believe in God, but you have to believe in yourself with God.”

Kierra Sheard currently serves as a judge on BET’s “Sunday Best.”

Christian Post Report – Kierra Sheard is getting ready to debut her plus-sized clothing line to the world.

Kierra, 27, is known for her powerhouse voice in the gospel music industry. As the daughter of Grammy Award-winning singer Karen Clark Sheard of the gospel music group The Clark Sisters, and Bishop J. Drew Sheard, she has managed to make her mark in the music world.

Now, it seems Kierra is ready to take over the world of fashion. She took to Instagram to announce her new business venture.

“My clothing line for Full figured women is coming soon,” Sheard wrote on Instagram. “I’m excited to announce that the launch of my clothing line for full figured women is coming soon… #eleven60 #plusSize.”

She went on to point out the need for a clothing line representing full-figured women.

“I’ve learned that the full figured apparel represents almost eighteen billion dollars and is growing. However, we haven’t been accepted into the high fashion realm,” Sheard wrote. “Why?! We are the money! Let’s show them how and why we should be accepted.”

Although she has yet to share a release date, Sheard gave fans a glimpse of what they can expect from her upcoming fashion line.

“It’s a clothing line that complements the thick woman. While being a full figured woman, I’ve found it hard to find quality and high fashion trends in my size,” Sheard wrote. “But no more skimpy clothes! And no more muu muus! Since the average American woman is plus size, I should be able to healthily, and fabulously own it!”

Sheard released her fifth album, Graceland last year, and spoke to The Christian Post about the concept behind it.

“I’m really kind of spilling the beans about my spiritual walk without giving all of my business. I’m letting people into my life, letting them know that I am human,” she told The Christian Post . “I’m letting people know, hey I may struggle with the same thing you do but God is working on me and it’s a process. It’s going to be a continual process until Jesus returns.”

HTC One M9 Release Date News: New Device Coming in Asia, With US Release Coming April 10

HTC’s next flagship smartphone, the HTC One M9 is now available in stores in Taiwan, the rest of Asia and Europe. This is in accordance to their March 1 launch announcement at the Mobile World Congress.

According to a report in GSM Arena, the phone is available in both 32GB and 64GB variants, but in limited case colors. Only Gunmetal Gray and the Silver/Rose Gold will be available. The Amber Gold variant is said to be available sometime in April. The report did not mention when the Pink/Gold variant will be released.

Buyers in the U.S. will have to wait until April 10, when HTC makes the phone available in the country. This is the same schedule that they announced during the Mobile World Congress. And incidentally, it is also the same day that Samsung will release the Galaxy S6.

Pricing for the international market is pegged at TWD 21,900 for an unlocked 32GB variant and TWD 23,900 for an unlocked 64GB variant. Prices in Europe are roughly the same, at EUR€650 for the 32GB and EUR€710 for the 64GB model.

Pricing in the US is expected to be a bit different, because it will be dependent on carrier pricing and packages as the phones are sold through mobile carriers. No reports as of yet on the US prices.

In terms of specifications, one report in Daily Tech calls its combination of specs as “one of the most powerful Android smartphones available.” It has a Qualcomm Inc. Snapdragon 810 processor, a 3GB RAM and a beautiful 5-inch 1080 HD display. Its rear camera is a 20.7 MP one, while its front camera is at 4.0 MP. Its rear camera is capable of 4k video recording.

Design wise, it is also said to be “one of the hardest devices in the market” for its dual-anodized scratch-resistant coating on its metal finish to “resist dents, dings, and scratches and a sapphire glass cover over the camera lens.”

Other reports are however criticizing HTC’s design decision to stick with the same design as the HTC One M8. The company however came out defending this decision as trying to build “a timeless piece of design,” as reported in CNET.

Dragon Ball XenoVerse DLC 2 for PS4, Xbox One Release Date and Details Revealed

Only a month has passed since “Dragon Ball XenoVerse,” a video game for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC was released in February 2015. To date, the game has reportedly shipped 1.5 million copies worldwide.

On March 17, Namco, the game’s developers, made available the first set of Downloadable Content for the game. Immediately after DLC 1 was released however, Namco came out detailing the contents of the second DLC pack, in what is seen by observers as building up the momentum for the game. According to a report in iDigital Times, Namco published more than 30 screenshots of its next DLC last March 20, “giving fans a glimpse at everything from new characters to the various special moves coming to DBX later this year.”

The second set of downloadable content, which is scheduled to be released sometime before the end of March in Japan, is reported to be introducing four new characters to the game’s roster. The next round will supposedly add “Eis Shenron, Mira, Nuova Shenron and Towa, along with costumes inspired by both of the ‘Dragon Ball XenoVerse’ antagonists.” The game already has a long list of characters, but this is not stopping Namco from adding some more. It is not yet known when DLC Pack 2 will be made available outside of Japan.

DLC Pack 2 will also “introduce a new Master (Pan), along with new Parallel Quests, new Time Patrol Quests and half a dozen new Z-Souls from the various “Dragon Ball” characters.” Players will also have access to “24 new special moves for their custom fighters.” One of the new features of the video game is the ability of players to create their own characters. Players can customize their character’s race, gender, head, build, voice and clothing. Screen shots were also shared in the iDigital Times report.

The game is the 15th “Dragon Ball” game released on home consoles. Unlike previous games, which were based on the original “Dragon Ball” storyline, “Dragon Ball XenoVerse” features “an entirely new story featuring the player’s custom character.”

“It was very simple,” Koncz said. “If Manny failed a test, he would have to pay $5 million. If Floyd failed, he would have to pay $5 million.”

A report from LA Times meanwhile cited Mayweather’s camp firing back with the controversy saying that the drug testing condition have been “rigorously negotiated” by Pacquiao’s promoter, Top Rank, suggesting that they are already in the disadvantage.

In a statement given to ESPN, Mayweather’s chief executive Leonard Ellerbe called Koncz a “moron.”

“If this moron didn’t convey his fighter’s wishes when the negotiation was going on that’s their problem,” Ellerbe told The LA Times. “This is a lame-a– attempt to generate publicity.”

It was revealed that earlier this week, Pacquiao’s legal assistant, David Moroso, received a letter from Mayweather’s legal counsellor Jeremiah Reynolds indicating that the currently undefeated boxer would not enter into the mentioned penalty deal.

Top Rank’s Bob Arum meanwhile chimed in his opinion about the disagreement saying that he fully understood Mayweather’s people not accepting the deal for the reason that if either side fail, “the other camp would be able to sue for far more than $5 million.”

The previous reports from the US Anti-Doping Agency announced that both fighters have agreed to submit themselves for an unannounced blood and urine testing at anytime during their training sessions in their respective camps.

The search would test each athlete for performance-enhancing substances like Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and EPO.

Amber Portwood was sent to jail for 17 months for drug abuse and domestic violence charges, and now the “Teen Mom OG” star is returning for a new season of MTV’s reality series and says that she is determined to show that she has changed and is getting her life back on track.

“I didn’t want people to have a bad taste in their mouth of things that happened in the past,” she told People magazine. “I thought, ‘This is my chance, don’t blow it.'”

Portwood made headlines when she made the decision to report to jail back in June 2012 rather than attend a court mandated rehab program. She tells People that in a way, being in prison saved her life.

“The only thing I could see happening to me if I [hadn’t] gone to prison is I would have died. I would have overdosed. When you’re an addict you know what your bottom,” she explained.

Portwood revealed that she earned her G.E.D. while in prison and is now trying to decide between colleges.

“Obviously I had some speed bumps. But it’s never too late to try to get your life back and so something positive,” she tells the magazine.

“The whole time I was in there I worked my [expletive] off. There were hundreds of hours of drug addiction classes. I did extra classes, parenting and anger management and even started teaching. I put myself in there for a reason so I didn’t want to make it a waste,” she adds.

Now, aside from being on the “Teen Mom OG,” Portwood is busy raising her daughter Leah. She has also found love with 43-year-old fiancé Matt Baier.

“He’s amazing, funny, carry and loving,” said Portwood. “We want to be engaged for at least a year before we really jump into anything. We want everything in place.”

Design:
The Lumia 640 has straight sides and gently curved edges, and the phone is encased in a colorful plastic shell. The phone measures 5.56 x 2.84 x 0.35 inches and weighs 5.11 ounces. It’s available in matte white, black, blue, and glossy orange.

The Moto G 4G has curved edges and a curved back. It measures 5.57 x 2.78 x 0.43 inches and weighs 5.47 ounces. The phone is available in black and white, though Motorola offers brightly colored shells in red, purple, hot pink, bright green, turquoise, and bright yellow so you can customize your phone according to your whims.

Features:
The Moto G 4G and the Lumia 640 have a lot of similarities when it comes to specs. Both phones have a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and pixel density count of 294ppi. The handsets also have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to make them scratch-resistant.

The Moto G 4G and the Lumia 640 have the same type of processor—a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset, but the Motorola handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, while the Microsoft phone runs on Windows Phone 8.1.

The phones have the same 8MP rear-facing camera, but the Moto G has a slightly better 2MP front facing camera compared to the Lumia 640’s 0.9MP front facing shooter.

When it comes to internal memory, the Lumia has less—only 8GB internal storage versus the Motorola device’s 16GB memory, but the Lumia’s storage can be expanded up to 128GB, whereas the Moto G’s can be expanded up to 32GB only.

Price:
The Moto G 4G costs $224, while the Microsoft Lumia 640 costs $150 for the 3G version and $173 for the 4G version.

Over at Eve’s house, Paige arrives and tells her mother that she forgives her and that she and JJ are talking about getting back together.

Vin Diesel just became a father of three with the birth of his child last Monday, March 16, but the actor went straight from the hospital to the first California “Furious 7” screening on Wednesday, March 18, to honor his co-star and close friend, the late Paul Walker.

Christian Post Report – “I had to come from the hospital, and I had to introduce the first screening in California where the whole franchise started,” Diesel told the audience.

Vin Diesel gives an emotional tribute to the late Paul Walker

The 47-year old was overcome with emotion as he spoke about making the latest movie, and he told fans how he and Walker, who he sometimes called Pablo, usually spent time together at the premieres of previous “Fast and Furious” films.

“As you know this was a very personal and important film to us, every time when I saw the movie at the premiere, Paul Walker and I would go off to the side, and he would always tell me, ‘Vin, the best one’s still in the can’. Well, I hope tonight, you’ll let Pablo know that this, this is the best one for you guys,” he said.

Diesel also reminded the audience that others have to wait a little to see the film, so it’s important to keep the story line quiet and not spoil it for everyone else.

At one point, the actor’s mood became somber.

“This was a labor of love. It was in some ways the hardest movie that I ever had to do because the relationships you see on film are so real, when the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend, I lost my brother,” he continued.

“Tonight,” said Diesel, before taking time to compose himself. The audience offered their support by telling Diesel that they love him, and one audience member shouted, “You’ve got family here Vin.”

“Oh I love that, thanks for being my family,” Diesel continued. “Thanks for always taking care of us, thanks for believing in us. You know what’s most important in life …This is our gift to you, but more importantly, it’s for my brother there.”

“Furious 7” premieres on April 3.
