Christian Post Report – Chris Paul is a Los Angeles Clippers’ guard.

The Clippers are looking to improve their standing as they are in the mix in the playoff race, while the Thunder are trying to create distance between them and ninth-seeded New Orleans Pelicans for the final spot in the post season.

Russell Westbrook has been playing like an MVP in recent games. Named as Western Conference Player of the Month for February, the lightning quick guard recently had four consecutive games with a triple-double, becoming the first player since Michael Jordan to do such feat.

His streak got broken in a 108-105 loss to the Chicago Bulls, but Westbrook wasn’t done. Immediately in their next game against the Toronto Raptors, he returned to his usual ways by scoring 30 points, pulling down 11 rebounds and dishing out 17 assists.

Due to his heroics, the Thunder are eighth in the West, holding a 0.5 game advantage over the Pelicans.

On the other side of the court is one of the most consistent guards in the league, Clippers’ superstar Chris Paul.

He may not have the speed and intensity of Westbrook, but Paul is the quintessential point guard. His court vision is spectacular, and he can finish going to the basket or from range.

Paul is averaging 18.2 points, 10.2 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game. And his knack of making the players around him better is what makes him the best in the squad.

Both teams are still missing key pieces, with the Clippers without Blake Griffin and the Thunder missing Kevin Durant, but this does not take away the fact that these are two of the best teams in the league.

The two teams have met twice already in the season, both getting a win each. This coming match in Oklahoma will be their last before the playoffs, with the winner getting the season series win.

Christian Post Report – When the problems of life seem overwhelming, we need someone to come alongside and help us to see our difficulties through the eyes of our sovereign God. Joseph is just such a person. Although he lived thousands of years ago, his story still speaks to us with great insight into the Lord’s purposes.

Joseph experienced a wide variety of trials—hatred, rejection, and betrayal by his brothers; loss of home, family, and freedom; false accusation and imprisonment; and the loneliness and disappointment of being forgotten. His life was a series of difficult and unfair situations, yet Scripture never records any bitterness or revenge in Joseph’s responses to all these circumstances.

Though outwardly it may have seemed as if God had abandoned the young man, He was doing some awesome work in Joseph’s heart. The Lord had big plans for him, and He knew that these trials would be the most effective tools in preparing His servant for the work that lay ahead.

As Joseph responded to each situation with faith in God and diligence in every task assigned to him, one fact became obvious to all who knew him: The Lord was with Joseph (Gen. 39:2, 21, 23).

We need to remember this when we are going through hard times: The Lord is with us even when our circumstances seem to shout that He has deserted us. We may have little control over the difficulties we face, but we each have a choice of how to respond. Joseph calls to us from out of the past, urging us to trust God.

Christian Post Report – “The Bachelor” Chris Soules appeared on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, March 10 to confirm that he has signed up for the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars.”

With fiancée Whitney Bischoff by his side, the 33-year old announced the good news live on GMA.

“Instead of moving to Arlington [Iowa], we are going to be moving to LA for a couple of weeks at least to be on ‘Dancing With the Stars,'” he said.

Us Weekly revealed the news last week that Soules is the mystery contestant who will compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy for the show’s 20th season.

“It’s the worst kept secret ever,” Soules joked, alluding to rampant rumors about his casting.

Soules is paired with Witney Carson, who made her first appearance on the competition show in 2014’s 18th season and won her first Mirror Ball Trophy with partner Alfonso Ribeiro in the show’s 19th season.

According to Us Weekly, Carson recently went to Iowa to visit and bond with her DWTS partner. So as not to reveal Soules as the mystery competitor, Carson reportedly went incognito, traveling in a wig, sunglasses, and an Iowa hat while she was in Arlington.

Soules joins a competitive lineup of celebrities, including Olympic gold gymnast Nastia Liukin, television icon Suzanne Somers, music legend Patti LaBelle, football star Michael Sam,”‘Shark Tank” mogul Robert Herjavec, U.S. Army veteran Noah Galloway, model Charlotte McKinney, “Hunger Games” actress Willow Shields, actress Rumer Willis, “Party Rock Anthem” singer Redfoo and R5 singer-songwriter Riker Lynch.

The 10th anniversary season of “Dancing With the Stars” is being billed as the biggest ever. The show will bring back Disney and Latin theme nights and introduce a new Spring Break special night. Another new element is the addition of all-access cameras in the rehearsal studios, which will be made available in live stream.

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 20 premieres on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Christian Post Report – On Sunday’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Teresa Giudice’s sister in law Melissa Gorga stopped by to talk about the “Real Housewife of New Jersey” star’s condition behind bars and also revealed how Joe Giudice is coping nowadays as he takes on the role of primary caregiver to his four daughters while his wife is in jail.

Melissa told host Andy Cohen that Teresa is “doing really well.” Melissa said that it hasn’t been easy for Joe without his wife around. However, she reveals that Joe has stepped up to the plate and is doing quite well.

“It’s heartwarming to see him,” said Melissa, who was visibly emotional as she recalled the family’s morning routine. “He’s manning up and doing what he has to do. I see him drive the girls every morning.”

Though Joe and his daughters have established a routine without Teresa, Melissa said that Joe handling everything without his spouse is “heavy on his heart.”

Meanwhile, a source tells E! News that Teresa is doing better and “getting in the best shape of her life” since beginning to exercise three times a day in prison.

“She says [exercise] helps her sleep,” said the source. “She does cardio, bikes, weights, and even Pilates. She does not miss a day, she does it religiously. She is extremely fit right now.”

“She says it herself, she’s in the best shape of her life. People find different things to focus on while they’re in prison. This is what she’s throwing herself into,” the insider added.

The source reveals that Teresa has struggled to find a way to eat healthy food, but she is diligently seeking out alternatives to the meals served in prison.

“She’s doing her best to eat right, but it’s a challenge … She always attends breakfast, lunch and dinner, but sometimes she’ll skip a meal and get something from the commissary after, like tuna,” the source said.

Christian Post Report – 2015 is looking to be a very good year for Joe Manganiello. The actor is starring in this year’s “Magic Mike XXL,” and will also be in the new TV series “Scream Queens.” Moreover, the “True Blood” star is engaged to Sofia Vergara, and the couple is all set to have their wedding this year.

Though everything is coming up roses for the actor, this has not always been the case for him as he has always been open about his sobriety in the past, most notably in his 2013 fitness book “Evolution.” In a new interview, Manganiello told Us Weekly that he has been sober for 12 years since giving up drinking.

Manganiello spoke to the magazine at the Slamdance Cinema Club screening of “The Resurrection of Jake the Snake,” which is about pro wrestler Jake “The Snake” Roberts and his own problems with sobriety.

“Of course sobriety is something near and dear to me,” said Manganiello. “Twelve and a half years sober. So obviously this is something very close to my heart.”

This isn’t the first time that the actor has spoken about the topic. In a 2013 interview with HuffPost live, the actor said, “There was a period of four years where I needed to quit drinking. It was one of those obstacles I needed to get over. Once again, I needed to clear the road in order for these things to happen.”

When asked about his fiancee’s involvement in his sobriety, Manganiello remained tight lipped but did confirm that they have set a date for their wedding.

While the actor didn’t give any further details about their nuptials, a source from Us Weekly reveals that Manganiello and the “Modern Family” star have done some wedding planning at Palm Beach, Florida and that they were reportedly scoping out a Breakers resort as a potential wedding location.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Vergara said, “We’re kind of busy so we’re trying to do it maybe [this] fall. It’s going to be big. We started off with 20 [on the guest list], and now there’s like pages and pages.”

Christian Post Report – The cast and producers of “The Good Wife” were at Saturday’s PaleyFest panel for the show, and they shared a lot of spoilers for upcoming episodes of the CBS show.

One persistent rumor that has been going around was of CBS planning a spin-off of “The Good Wife.” According to People, the producers said that they are not planning one as they are too busy working on the show, which is currently in its sixth season. Furthermore, the show’s producers reportedly don’t think that their show has the kind of “broad, mainstream appeal” that lends itself to a spin-off, though they did admit that it would be fun to dream up a series for frequent guest stars such as Carrie Preston and Gary Cole, whose characters Elsbeth Tascioni and Kurt McVeigh are fan favorites.

It was also revealed that guest stars Ed Asner, Oliver Platt, and Ron Rifkin will be appearing in future episodes.

As for fans still mourning Josh Charles’ Will Gardner, “The Good Wife” co-creator Robert King said that they need not worry about Archie Punjabi’s character leaving in a similar fashion, as it has been reported that the actress will leave the show this season.

“[Kalinda] can’t go out Will Gardner style because you guys know that she’s leaving,” said King to People. “Will Gardner style was that no one knew … Since everybody expects it, it’s a whole different beast.”

Meanwhile, Christine Baransky spoke to TVLine and said that Cole will be back in an upcoming episode, and the actress also gave a hint about Platt’s character.

“We go out hunting together, and I meet up with a Republican billionaire [played by Oliver Platt] … It’s so great to see that two people can be married and disagree politically, and have a political discourse that doesn’t derail the relationship,” said Baransky.

“The Good Wife” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on CBS.

Christian Post Report – Two devices which have been released at the MWC and CES 2015 are creating major buzz on tech sites nowadays, the HTC One M9 and the Asus Zenfone 2. The M9 is the highly anticipated follow up to the One M8, a device that has earned a lot of admiration last year, while the Zenfone 2 is a budget device which looks, feels, and performs like a premium smartphone.

Here, we compare the two smartphones:

Design:
The HTC One M9 has an all metal body, just like the One M8, but instead of gentle curves, the phone now has defined edges and flattened sides. The phone measures 5.69 x 2.74 x 0.38 inches and weighs 5.54 ounces. The color variations include a gold edge around a silver body, a silver edge around a dark grey body, and a gold body with a black edge

The Asus Zenfone 2 has a hard plastic chassis, and the phone curves at the edges. The device measures 6.00 x 3.04 x 0.43 inches and weighs 6 ounces. It’s available in black, white, red, gray, and gold.

Features:
The One M9 has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density of 441ppi. Meanwhile, the Zenfone 2 has a bigger screen at 5.5 inches and resolution of 1080 x 1920, with pixel density of 403ppi. The Zenfone 2 is protected by a layer of scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Asus phone is powered by an Intel Atom quad core processor and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen interface on top, while the HTC device has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 octa-core chipset and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI.

When it comes to cameras, the HTC has a better rear camera at 20MP versus the Asus phone’s 13MP rear shooter. However, the Zenfone 2’s 5MP front facing camera is slightly better than the HTC phone’s 4MP front camera.

The Zenfone 2 comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options and can be expanded with a microSD card up to 64GB. The One M9 comes with 32GB internal storage and can be expanded up to 128GB.

Price:
When it comes to price, the Asus Zenfone 2 is cheaper as is it is expected to cost $200 off contract. Pricing is currently unavailable for the HTC One M9 at the moment, but AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile have committed to carrying the phone in the U.S.

In their first meeting at Parc des Princes, both squads settled for a 1-1 draw.

The match was a very competitive one, with possession being shared between the two teams as PSG held the ball 55 percent of the time, while Chelsea had it for 45 percent.

Playing at home, PSG were able to force more shots, with a total of 12 with half of them being on target as compared to Chelsea’s only two total attempts on goal.

However, the Blues were able to draw first blood as Branislav Ivanovic scored the match opener in the 36th minute.

John Terry played a perfectly weighted cross towards the middle of the box, with Gary Cahill lifting the ball with a back-heel before Ivanovic headed the ball past goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu for the lead.

Chelsea held the lead until half-time but PSG found a way to level the score in the 54th.

Blaise Matuidi played the ball perfectly from the side, enough to spot the open Edinson Cavani who headed the ball towards the ground before bouncing in to beat Thibaut Courtois.

This result sets up a very intriguing match in London, where both teams have a chance to move on in Europe’s elite competition.

Both squads have been in very impressive streaks, as Chelsea have gone unbeaten in their last eight matches across all competitions. They currently hold a five-point lead atop the English Premier League and are seeking for their fifth league title and second European triumph.

As for PSG, they have slowly become a force in World football and have also been unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions. In Ligue 1, they are second in the table but only one point behind current leaders Olympique Lyonnais.

Both teams battled to a 0-0 draw in the first leg at L’viv Arena, setting up a winner-take-all clash in Germany.

The 2013 champions, Bayern were expected to go through the next round without too much trouble but Shakhtar had other plans.

Munich dominated the match, handling possession 59 percent of the time, but were only able to get four shots – with only one on target.

They also had four corners while failing to concede one to the hosts.

It was also a very physical affair, with a total of 34 fouls between two teams – and a total of nine bookings, with Bayern’s Xabi Alonso being sent off in the 65th minute after claiming his second yellow card.

Now in the clash at the Bavaria, look for Shahktar to go even harder on defense as they try to extend the match as far as possible and look to take advantage of the small openings that the German heavyweights may present.

Both teams are doing well in their own domestic campaigns, with Bayern leading in the Bundesliga – with an 11-point lead over Wolfsburg. They have also gone unbeaten in their last eight matches across all competitions, while winning their last four.

Shakhtar are second in the Ukrainian Premier League table, seven points behind reivals Dynamo Kyiv.

They have also been unbeaten in their last seven matches in total.

Shakhtar’s chances rest heavily on the shoulders of striker Luiz Adriano. The striker currently leads the competition with nine goals, with Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi behind him with eight.

Meanwhile, Bayern’s main assets are in the stars in their lineup. Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, Mario Gotze and Thomas Mueller are only a few big names who are readily available for Munich when they play at home.

Christian Post Report – LG has released its most innovative device to date at the CES 2015, the LG G Flex 2, which is designed to bend and flex, and the smartphone is touted to be a better version of the original G Flex. Meanwhile, Sony is still getting a lot of fans for its Xperia Z3, with its premium build, bright screen and nifty features. Though Sony is reportedly gearing up to launch the Xperia Z4, their current flagship phone can still go head to head with other devices that have recently debuted.

Here, we compare the LG G Flex 2 and the Sony Xperia Z3:

Design:
LG isn’t holding anything back with the G Flex 2. Whether it’s facing up or down, the phone can be pushed down to flatten it straight, but the device springs back into its curved shape once the weight comes off. It measures 5.87 x 2.96 x 0.37 inches and weighs 5.36 ounces. The phone comes with a self-healing coat, so scratches and scuffs disappear in a matter of seconds. The device is available in two colors, Flamingo Red and Platinum Silver.

Meanwhile, the Xperia Z3 is a smaller, slimmer and lighter Z2. It has the same glass covered front and rear and the aluminum band that holds it all together, but the dimensions are different from its predecessor. It measures 5.75 x 2.83 x 0.29 inches and weighs 5.36 ounces and is available in white, black, copper gold, silver green.

Features:
When it comes to screen size, the G Flex 2 has the advantage over the Xperia Z3. The LG phone has a 5.5 inch display, while the Sony device has a 5.2-inch screen. Both screens have a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

The G Flex 2 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, while the Z3 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The LG device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 octa-core processor, while the Z3 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core chip set. The G Flex 2 comes with 32GB internal memory out of the box, while the Z3 comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage options. Both phones have a micro SD card slot, allowing you to add more internal storage should you need to do so.

The Z3 has the better camera—the phone has a 20.7 MP rear facing camera and 2.2MP front shooter, while the LG phone has a 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera.

Price:
The LG G Flex 2 costs $600 off contract, while the Sony Xperia Z3 costs $630.
