WATCH: Group of Evangelical Women Pray Over Donald Trump ‘to Give Him Power Like None Other’ During Reception at His D.C. Hotel — Just One Thing, I Don’t Think We’ve Ever Seen People Trying to Pray and Take a Selfie at the Same Time

A group of evangelical women prayed over Donald Trump by laying hands on him when he unexpectedly appeared at their event in his Washington D.C. hotel.

Video shows Trump in the center of the group of at least a dozen women, all with heads bowed and arms outstretched toward him or touching his shoulders in prayer.

‘Holy Father, we thank you so much for this evening. We thank you for this man of God. We thank you for his courage of standing up when others would rather stay seated,’ one woman led the prayer as the others called out in agreement.

‘Father, we ask you that you protect him. That you to lift him up, that you give him strength and know that he must be tired at times. And we just pray that you give him power like none other. We love him, we hold him up, and we thank you. Amen.’

The event took place at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D. C., but was not on the president’s agenda for the day, blog 1100 Pennsylvania revealed.

Trump made the appearance with televangelist and his longtime faith adviser Paula White as he continues to aggressively pursue evangelical and religious voters, having held a rally in Miami and being the first sitting president to attend a March for Life.

The White House press office’s schedule for Wednesday said the president was at his hotel to deliver ‘remarks at a Fundraising Committee Reception’, but was seen on video obtained by DailyMail.com speaking in front of a room of women from Be Still Ministries and Love From Above Inc.

According to one woman in attendance, Rachel Faulkner Brown, the group had ‘no idea’ Trump was coming to their reception.

Faulkner Brown, an Atlanta-based speaker for Be Still Ministries and pro-life activist, posted to Instagram about Trump’s visit and referenced the prayer circle.

‘We prayed tonight for @realdonaldtrump because we all need to be prayed for, we all need to be loved and we all will thrive in freedom. Hail to the Chief tonight…WHAT A DAY! #ifyoudonthavelifeyoucanhaveliberty #vote #prolife,’ she wrote.

The president spoke in front of the crowd while standing at a podium inscribed with the Trump Hotels insignia, rather than the presidential seal.

He appears to have spoken about the ‘founder of ISIS’, calling him a ‘tough character’ that you ‘don’t find too easily’.

He then thanked his supporters and gave a special thank you to evangelical preacher Paula White, who is in her third marriage to Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain.

White made remarks as well, gushing about her decades-long friendship with Trump and told of how he would pray with her family for hours at a time before she called for ‘four more years’.

‘This is a longtime relationship, this is not a political relationship, this is a genuine family relationship that I love to tell about the man who’s now leading the free world as President of the United States.

White joined the White House in an official capacity in October, advising the president’s Faith and Opportunity Initiative and handling outreach to religious groups.

Just last month, White was hit with backlash after calling for ‘all satanic pregnancies to miscarry right now’ during a sermon.

Also at the reception was Chicago suburb-based public speaker Yvonne Florczak–Seeman, of Love From Above Inc., which brands itself as ‘not pro-life, nor pro-choice, but pro-women’, but advocates about how ‘abortion hurts’.

Florczak–Seeman is also president of Taking Back Our Power – Protectors of Women’s Equal Rights group and was joined by other members at the event with the mission to ’empower and educate women on their inherent, fundamental human dignity.’

Florczak–Seeman took to Facebook to post about the night, writing: ‘What an awesome, exciting night for women who are ready to take back our power! And a special thanks to President Trump for showing up to support our work! Together, there isn’t anything that we can’t do! Let’s do this, ladies!’

She was seen in photos at the event with Candy Carson, the wife of Dr. Ben Carson, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

And another photo was snapped of Florczak–Seeman posing with Paula White at a White House Policy Briefing.

Faulkner Brown captioned her post from the night’s events: ‘Tonight I was in a room with the POTUS and precious @PaulaMichelleWhite sat at our table. I’m just not even sure what to say…but what I can say is ONLY JESUS and I am so so PROUD to BE AN AMERICAN.

‘I always have been but this is next level and my freedoms as a ministry leader are being protected because this man is not afraid,’ she wrote.

Be Still Ministries, according its website, began as an ‘intimate monthly gathering centered around stories and prayer’ but has has since expanded into ‘workshops, retreats, and curriculum that have crossed state lines into Georgia, Colorado, Maryland, and South Carolina.’

‘The ministry exists to create a hunger and thirst for the gospel of grace and for every daughter to know she is His favorite,’ the site states.

PODCAST: Special Valentine’s Day Episode of Whyte House Daily Devotional Bible Reading Episode #79: 1 Corinthians 13 (with Daniel Whyte III)

This is Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International with the Whyte House Daily Devotional Bible Reading Episode #79. Where I read three chapters of the Holy Bible in the King James Version a day with my family as a part of our family devotions, to encourage you to read the Holy Bible in a year’s time. We are using a modified version of the Five Day Bible Reading Plan. It is modified because we read the Bible everyday and not just five days a week. The benefit of using the Five Day Bible Reading Plan is: you can read the entire Bible in a chronological reading plan that helps the Bible make sense. Since today is Valentine’s Day, I want to read the greatest words ever written on love: 1 Corinthians 13.

Billy Graham said, “I am convinced the greatest act of love we can ever perform for people is to tell them about God’s love for them in Christ.”

1 Corinthians 13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

When I was a teenager I wanted to get wisdom and knowledge, so I set out the read the big family Bible that many families had in those days. But I couldn’t get past Genesis 2 before I got bored with reading the Bible. I found out later in life that you have to believe on Christ and get saved before you can understand the Bible. So here is how I became a Christian and how you can too:

First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”

Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18:8: “Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by the power of God for you so that you can live eternally with Him. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.

Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead, and you want to trust Him for your Salvation today, please pray with me this simple prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. I am sorry for my sins, and today I choose to turn from my sins. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior and I choose to follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour! For more information to help you grow in your newfound faith in Christ, go to Gospel Light Society.com and read “What To Do After You Enter Through the Door”. Jesus Christ said in John 10:9, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

If you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior today, please email me at [email protected] and let us know. There is some free material that we want to send you. If you have a prayer request, please e-mail that to us as well, and we will pray for you until you tell us to stop.

God loves you. We love you. And may God bless you.

Lecrae Hopes New Album and Book Will ‘Restore the View the Black Community Has of Itself’, Discusses Upcoming Projects, Business Ventures, and Partnerships to Help Restore Atlanta’s English Avenue

Lecrae Devaughn Moore is a Grammy award-winning hip-hop artist, best-selling author, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and co-owner and president of Reach Records. His 2014 album, Anomaly, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the first album to top both the Billboard 200 and the Gospel Charts simultaneously. He has sold more than 3 million copies and been nominated for five Grammy Awards, including a win for Best Gospel Album. He also received 15 Dove Awards, one Billboard Music Award, and a Soul Train Music Award, and a BET Hip-Hop Nomination.

In an exclusive interview with BLACK ENTERPRISE, the artist and businessman opened up about his new projects and entrepreneurship.

BE: What is the most important thing you are working on now?

Moore: With conversation rising about the number of teens committing suicide and the heightened conversations around mental health awareness and suicide prevention, this is the perfect time for my ninth album, Restoration. I’m also writing another book, I Am Restored, due out later this year. A follow-up to my first book, Unashamed, I Am Restored, chronicles how I’ve navigated the highs and lows of success and celebrity and shares how coming into faith has helped to restore, transform, and define who I am as a man, father, community activist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.

Can you tell us a little more about your new album, Restoration?

For Restoration, I’ve gotten to work with a lot of major artists. I’m excited to put out some healing music. I want people to know that you’re never too messed up for a restoration. Second divorce, prison sentence, it doesn’t matter. There’s always hope, healing, and restoration available if you seek it.

Restoration seems to be a big theme for you. What have you done and/or doing in terms of ‘Restoration?

I want to restore the view the black community has of itself. We can change the narrative, empower the disenfranchised, and close wealth gaps. We can restore the dignity that was stripped from us. We can lean on God to restore our sense of purpose and worth. I am partnered on several projects to restore Atlanta’s English Avenue, an area known for its rampant drug trafficking and violent crime statistics. I’m also an active member of the Board of Advisory for Peace Academy, the first school in the English Avenue area to be opened in more than 20 years.

Does the distinction of performing gospel separate you from other rappers or does it put you in line with other rappers who only perform secular music?

The distinction is very important to those who want to neatly place the artist in boxes, but for me, it’s about being authentic to who I am. Jay-Z is who he is for hip hop as Kirk Franklin is the same for Gospel. But I live in between those two worlds. I’m passionate about my faith and the art of rap.

Gospel has exploded more into the mainstream lately. Do you see more converts in the near future? Does it affect the way you do business and/or music knowing that trend has translated into someone like Kanye West making a big splash?

Justin and Hailey Bieber Say They ‘Trust God So Much With Every Aspect of Our Life’

Justin Bieber’s new YouTube series “Seasons” released two episodes this week showing footage from his and his wife, Hailey’s wedding day.

During the episodes Bieber revealed that he “was shaking” when he proposed to Hailey in the Bahamas in 2018.

“I was like, ‘I loved you for so long and I just can’t see myself being with anybody else. I love you so much and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?’” he recalled to his friends right before the wedding.

In episode 7 of the series, Hailey shared why the couple had a civil wedding ceremony shortly after their engagement before their religious ceremony last October.

“It’s actually really funny because we got engaged, and we were like, ‘Yeah, we’re not in a rush to plan a wedding, we’re chilling,’” Hailey said.

“We wanted to live together, we wanted to move in together, and we didn’t believe in doing that until we were married. So we got legally married and then moving in together, and living together, and getting to share space with each other, and just keep learning more about each other. It took the pressure off of the scary part of getting married,” she added.

In a previous interview with Vogue magazine, Bieber said he and his bride waited to have sex until their wedding night because he vowed to God that he’d live a chaste life after battling a sex addiction.

Luis Palau Says Lung Cancer is ‘at Bay’ Two Years After Diagnosis and Announces He is Passing Mantle of Ministry to His Sons

World-renowned evangelist Luis Palau revealed his cancer is now at bay, though doctors had given him months to live when he was diagnosed two years ago. And now he’s ready to fully pass the mantle of ministry to his sons.

At the top of 2018, the beloved minister made the unexpected announcement that he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Months later, in a Thanksgiving Day update, Palau testified that he was defying the odds and doing much better than doctors had anticipated. Now, two years after the diagnosis, Palau says his cancer is under control because of their care regiment.

In March 2018, Palau shared that after two months of chemotherapy, the doctors were amazed at the results of his CT scan and blood work. All tumors had shrunk by one-third and there was no new growth of the tumors. The results were so uncommon for someone with stage 4 cancer that Palau said the doctors were stunned.

Again, at the end of last year, “One of the tumors actually shrank slightly!” he wrote on his website.

“I’m actually feeling quite well. And the cancer seems to be kept at bay with the current protocol,” he said.

Since then, the Luis Palau Association has carried on with multiple initiatives and in a new interview with CBN, the minister said it’s time for him to step out of the way and let his sons and those that follow continue on with the ministry freely.

He said moving aside and allowing Andrew and Kevin Palau to take up the ministry mantle will be “without relinquishing love and caring for my sons.”

We are also relieved that this is no longer a secret.”

Group of Southern Baptists Roll Out New “Conservative Baptist Network” to Oppose Social Justice Movement

A coalition of Southern Baptists have rolled out a new network, dubbed the Conservative Baptist Network, for conservative Southern Baptists who are concerned about the influx of liberal ideology and progressivism — particularly, social justice — in the Southern Baptist Convention.

According to the network’s website, the network plans to officially launch June 8 during the denomination’s annual meeting in Orlando.

Listing Brad Jurkovich as the spokesman for the Conservative Baptist Network, a press release on February 14 said that the network is a “product of a grassroots movement that developed organically in the hearts and minds of devoted Southern Baptists who have become concerned about the current direction and perceived future of the convention.”

The press release cites “insolence” and “disrespect” to Vice President Mike Pence as many Southern Baptist leaders and messengers walked out in protest during his speech at the 2018 annual meeting and concerns that there is “growing apprehension about where the Southern Baptist Convention is headed.”
