David became anointed but Saul would not allow him to sit on the throne. Have you been there? The time of the anointing is not the time for the sitting. David did not sit on the throne until he was thirty. You may be anointed today but it may take longer for the product to come out. It is a process! But many people don’t wait for that process.
Has God made a promise to you? Yes! But it is in the process of time. In the early days of this commission when it had no beauty that anyone should desire it, there were many things God said about the ministry of TREM that I even found very difficult to believe then. But what did we do? We decided to do what we could faithfully. Whatever our hands found to do, we did it faithfully, serving God with all our hearts. Then, we began to see God unfold His plans step by step. And every step by a miracle. You see, God will only tell you where you are going. He won’t tell you the challenges; because if He told you the challenges, you would run away.
David was anointed but Saul would not allow him to sit on the throne. If God has anointed you and there is a ‘Saul’ that is trying to stop you, let him have the throne. It is just a matter of time, he will surely come down. I decree that every ‘Saul’ in your life is coming down. He is an illegal occupier of your throne and a usurper of authority. Therefore, he must come down. When you notice any ‘Saul’ that is hindering what God has ordained, all you need do is to just stay clear. After all, you did not ordain yourself nor did you anoint yourself. It is God who decided to choose you. He saw you in your weakness and shortcomings and called you. He paid the price! And so, if He has paid the price for your redemption, get ready; because He will ensure that every ‘Saul’ in your life is dethroned.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you serve the Master, you draw from the benefits that flow from the Master naturally.
Previously, we saw that it is God’s desire for His people to live in honour and glory. We saw that there are secrets that a child of God has to know and practice in order to live this honourable life.
Today we shall be looking at yet another secret to living an honourable life, and that is kingdom service.
Our anchor scripture tells us that, ‘…he who waits on his master shall be honoured, and (this includes God, the Master of the universe).
Kingdom service is a secret to a life of honour. In the Book of First Samuel Chapter 9, and in Verse 6, Samuel was referred to as an honourable man.
Beloved, you cannot genuinely serve God and die in mockery and reproach. Whenever you carry the mantle of service, you are carrying a crown of honour. When you serve the Master, you draw from the benefits that flow from the Master naturally. The things that belong to the Master overflow to you by virtue of your service to Him.
My counsel is, give yourself to God in service. Do not waste your time going to Church and doing nothing for God. Do not just be a bench warmer, an ordinary hand-clapper, or an amen-shouter that is absolutely uninvolved in the affairs of God’s house; it is a waste of time and life. There are many things God cannot do with a man whom He has not found useful. Serve God faithfully.
REMEMBER THIS: When you serve the Master, you draw from the benefits that flow from the Master naturally.

Christians are expected to be involved in business so as to show the world how to do legitimate business and give people the required template to follow, by not conforming to the pattern of this world (Romans 12:2).
When a Christian is involved in a business, it should be seen as a divine calling where he can find his role in God’s plan to touch lives positively. Business is to provide goods and services to the community and it is only the institution that creates economic value and adds value into the system.
Believers in business need to be careful with their language not to be worldly and to do things in a way that glorifies God. Doing business for Him is the most open yet hidden secret on the earth of doing business God’s way. God’s blessing is a supernatural empowerment of His goodness and love for you as an entrepreneur.
A Christian in business should not compromise his or her faith in God as other people do especially in business. The Bible makes it clear that God does not condone compromising His standards. Matthew 6:24 says, “No man can serve two masters…”
Not compromising requires our total obedience to Him to do the right things, not to cheat people or take advantage of them especially in business. Romans 13:14 says, But put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make not provision for the flesh to fulfil the lust thereof.”

California Woman Holding Baby and Gun Says She’s a Prophet, Then Threatens to Blow up Her Church
On Sunday, 31-year-old mother of two and Navy Veteran Anna Conkey walked into her church with her baby in one hand and a gun in the other, and threatened to blow up the church.
According to the ABC 15 Arizona, Conkey walked up on the stage at Tsidkenu Church in San Diego around noon on Easter Sunday and waved her handgun around as she shouted threats.
One witness recalled the incident saying that Conkey was “saying craziness about the rapture not being real and everyone going to hell.”
Before anything could happen, however, several congregants were able to tackle the mother of two to the ground.
David Michael Miller who was a part of the team that disarmed the woman, also noted that she was acting erratically.
According to the Christian Post, Miller said, “She was being very apprehensive, pointing the gun at them, pointing the gun at her baby, saying ‘Don’t come closer, don’t come any closer.”
According to police, no one was injured in the scuffle and police later found that the gun Coney was holding was not loaded. A bomb unit also determined that there were no explosives in the area.
According to NBC 7, just before the incident took place, the news outlet received a tip from an account bearing the same namesake as Conkey.

Open Heaven 25 April 2019 Thursday MESSAGE:
Life is a call to service. At the end of it, God has set a day of reckoning, when everyone must appear before the judgment seat of Christ to receive the reward of their stewardship, according to what they have done on earth, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10). When God created the world, He ordained work as a means of rendering service, in order for man to find fulfillment and obtain reward or praise. He also introduced regular periods of rest for man, just as He rested after creating the world. However, many people are over-stretching the need for rest by misusing and wasting away precious time. Such people forget that time measures life, and so time-wasting is a deadly shortcoming.
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” –Genesis 1:28
God’s mandate to mankind in this scripture shows that we are called to a life of service. The Holy Spirit further tells us that we only have one opportunity to make good use of the gift that life is. In Hebrews 9:27 He says:
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
Knowing then that we have only one life to live, let us live our lives maximally for the glory of God. The story of David, the shepherd boy who later became king of Israel, serves as a perfect example in this case. As a little boy, David was in the wilderness, busy managing his family’s wealth. He was putting his life at risk while his brothers enjoyed the protective environment of the town with its fun and entertainment. Nevertheless, David carried out his duty without complaining, and he used the opportunity of his time in the wilderness to polish his musical talent and shooting skills. Down the line, his proficiency in music singled him out to play for the king, while his skill with the catapult was harnessed in the destruction of Goliath the blasphemer and enemy of God. Your diligence will single you out for honor in Jesus’ Name. On the other hand, excessive rest leads to idleness, laziness, boredom and a multitude of other sins that rush in to fill the vacuum created by idleness. Quite obviously, it was excessive rest and idleness that paved the way for David’s fall into adultery and murder (2 Samuel 11:1-5). Furthermore, Ezekiel 16:49 confirms that the “abundance of idleness” played a major role in the sins and eventual destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. ‘Your Prayers Are Working’ Says Family of Boy Tossed from Third-Floor Balcony at the Mall of America
The family of a 5-year-old boy thrown off a Mall of America balcony said Tuesday the prayers of others “are working,” although they wouldn’t confirm comments by a pastor that he has “zero evidence” of brain damage.
The boy, whose first name is Landen, was picked up by a stranger and tossed from the third-floor balcony to the first floor at the Bloomington, Minn., mall this month. A 24-year-old man was arrested.
“We have an important week ahead with more milestones to accomplish,” the family said Tuesday in a statement read by their attorney, Stephen Tillitt. “God’s hand is working. Your prayers are working.
“Thank you for respecting our family’s privacy through this unimaginable time. We remain steadfast in our faith. Thank you so much and keep praying.”
But Tillitt would neither confirm nor deny comments by a family pastor, Mac Hammond of the Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, Minn. Hammond during an Easter sermon said an MRI of Landen showed “zero evidence of brain damage,” according to the Star Tribune newspaper. Hammond was referencing comments the grandfather made to him.

Some Transgender Teens Aren’t Really Transgender, Re-Published Study Still Says
A controversial academic study that suggested some teenagers self-identify as transgender due to peer and social influences has been re-published following a peer-review process, and it’s reached the same controversial conclusion.
The study by Lisa Littman of Brown University was published in the academic journal PLOS ONE last year but came under fire from gay and transgender advocates, who insisted children and teens identify as transgender because they are born that way and not because of outside influences.
Facing criticism, Brown University pulled a press release on the study, and PLOS ONE launched a review process.
PLOS ONE re-published the study in March with more details about Littman’s research. It emphasized the data was collected from parents. But it said “the Results section is unchanged.”
Littman told Quillette.com she is “very pleased with the final product” and with the fact “that my work has withstood this extensive peer-review process.” That process included PLOS ONE staff, a statistical reviewer, two academic editors and an external expert reviewer examining her research, she said.
Littman said the study examines a phenomenon whereby teens and young adults “who did not exhibit childhood signs of gender issues appeared to suddenly identify as transgender.”
ISIS Claims Responsibility for Easter Sunday Bombings in Sri Lanka
The Islamic State is claiming responsibility for the coordinated suicide bombing attacks across the South Asian island of Sri Lanka.
According to ABC News, the terrorist group first claimed responsibility for the attack through their Amaq news agency on Tuesday. In Arabic, the group said that the bombers were “among the fighters of the Islamic State.”
According to extremist group watchdog SITE Intelligence Group, ISIS later identified the seven bombers in a formal statement.
According to ABC News, several U.S. sources briefed on the incident believe that ISIS may indeed have been involved in the attack.
Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also noted that the Sri Lankan government knew that there were “foreign links” to the bombings. He said in a press conference, “All that we knew earlier is that there were foreign links and that this could not have been done just locally.”
He continued, “There has been training done and a coordination which we [have] not seen earlier.”
According to Sri Lanka’s State Minister of Defense Ruwan Wijewardene, some officials were made aware that an attack may happen, but the information was only shared among a few, the Associated Press reports.

Four Christians, Including U.S. Woman, Arrested from Hotel in Nepal
NEW DELHI, April 24, 2019 (Morning Star News) – Police in Nepal arrested four Christians from a hotel, including a woman from the United States, early Tuesday morning (April 23) on false charges of conversion by allurement, sources said.
Police from Dang Deukhuri District Police Headquarters in Ghorahi charged into the Hotel Doko in Ghorahi at 7 a.m. and detained Pastor Dilli Ram Poudel, 49, general secretary of the Nepal Christian Society; Gaurav Shrivastava, 34, a citizen of India; Kunsang Tamang, a Nepali woman from Sankhuwasabha District; and Oleana Cinquanta, a 49-year-old U.S. citizen from Colorado. Ghorari is 421 kilometers (261 miles) west of the capital, Kathmandu.
Cinquanta was held for more than 10 hours without her medication before being deported to the United States, she said.
“The allegations are completely false,” Cinquanta texted Morning Star News while escorted by plainclothes police by bus to a flight back to the United States. “We were not distributing any Bibles or dollars.”
Police searched the Christians’ hotel rooms and confiscated Bibles as “evidence” of carrying out fraudulent conversions, Christian leader Pratik Bista told Morning Star News. Officers also confiscated U.S. dollars from Cinquanta’s room as evidence of “allurement to convert,” he said.
