Read: Esther 6:1-13 (KJV)

1 On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.

2 And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.

3 And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.

4 And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king’s house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.

5 And the king’s servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.

6 So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?

7 And Haman answered the king, For the man whom the king delighteth to honour,

8 Let the royal apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:

9 And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour.

10 Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.

11 Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.

12 And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.

13 And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.

Open Heaven 14 April 2019 Sunday MESSAGE:

The book of remembrance is a divine record of those who fear God and obey His commands. Kept before the throne of God, it documents their righteous deeds. In today’s memory verse, some godly people were discussing among themselves the challenges they faced in an environment where the ungodly seemed to be prospering while they were not. The Lord took note of their conversation and immediately opened a book of remembrance on their behalf. This tells us that God listens in on their heartfelt discussions, and His attention is always drawn to our good deeds and challenges, so much so that He even documents them. In times of uncertainty and when faced with challenges, you can draw on this truth to call God to remembrance and cause Him to move on your behalf. Nehemiah knew this, and so when he was faced with the challenge of building the walls of Jerusalem in times of uncertainty and adversity, he prayed this prayer in Nehemiah 13:14, saying:

“Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.”

I pray that God will bring your righteous deeds into remembrance for due reward today in Jesus’ Name.

Indeed, God rewards the righteous deeds of those who persistently hold on to Him. I am a living testimony of this. The Holy Spirit says in Galatians 6:9:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

This suggests that God can never forget our contributions to the progress of His kingdom. He will ensure that we receive proper recognition and reward for our righteous deeds. Speaking in Hebrews 6:10, the Holy Spirit further says:

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

Any attempt to deny anyone the reward of their labour is an act of unrighteousness before God, and because God cannot be unrighteous, it is part of His nature to call a person’s deeds into remembrance for adequate recompense. He did this with Abraham, Noah, Cornelius, Rachael, Hannah and the nation of Israel. God will therefore remember your contributions to the growth of His kingdom and adequately compensate you in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 14 April 2019 Sunday Prayer Point:

Father, please remember my labor of love in Your vineyard today, in Jesus’ Name.

BLESSING SUNDAY – 7TH APRIL 2019
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): DEUTERONOMY 28:1-14
MESSAGE TOPIC: THE BLESSEDNESS OF THE BLESSING OF GOD

SERVICE OBJECTIVES:

1. Understanding the overwhelming advantage of the Blessing
2. Understanding channels of the blessing

The Blessing is overwhelmingly advantageous to the life of the Blessed

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. God had to release the Blessing at creation to guarantee the future of the earth (Gen. 1:28)
2. The covenant lineage of Abraham got established in greatness and influence by the Blessing of God (Gen. 12:2-3)
3. The children of Israel exist on earth today as a force to reckon with in the comity of nations by the power of the Blessing (Gen. 32:28)
4. Children from families who receive positive affirmations and blessings from their parents fare better in life than children who receive only insults and curses

THE BLESSEDNESS OF THE BLESSING:

1. The Blessing consumes and dissolves curses, embargoes and limitations from the life of the Blessed (Gen. 32:24-28)

The same way that light is more powerful than darkness, in that same way the blessing is more powerful than the curse

2. The Blessing brings speed and acceleration into the life of the Blessed (Gen. 26:12-13)

The Blessing is a destroyer of stagnation and delay; you cannot be a carrier of the Blessing and experience delay or stagnation.

3. The Blessing changes the climate around the life of the Blessed (1Chron. 4:9-10; Ps. 5:12; Gen. 39:3-5; 27:27)

The Blessing changes the climate around the blessed from negative to positive, and from rejection to acceptance.

The Blessing changes your spiritual fragrance (Gen. 27:27)

4. The Blessing releases the potentials in the life of the Blessed (1Chron. 2:55)

5. The Blessing amplifies the effort of the Blessed; it facilitates resourcefulness and productivity and forbids.

Barrenness of resourcefulness (Gen. 1:28; 26:12)

The Blessing makes you resourceful, audacious and excitable

6. The Blessing enhances the quality and quantity of the life of the Blessed (Prov. 10:22; Isa. 65:8)

The Blessing causes a person to live well and to live long.

Do all you can do to be established in the Blessing

7. The Blessing enlarges the capacity of the Blessed; it deletes littleness and imparts ‘meganess’ (Gen. 12:2; 32:28; 1Chron. 2:55)

Your source determines your size; your connection determines your collection

CHANNELS OF THE BLESSING:

1. Directly from God (Deut. 28:1-2; Ex. 23:25; Ps. 5:12; 24:3-5; Mal. 3:10)

When you do the things God wants you to do, then the Blessing comes directly from God.

HOW TO CONNECT BLESSING DIRECTLY FROM GOD:

1a. Obedience (Deut. 28:1-2)

1b. Service (Ex. 23:25)

1c. Uprightness (Ps. 5:12; 24:3-5)

1d. Tithes and Offerings (Mal. 3:10)

2. Through parents (Gen. 27:25-28; Eph. 6:1-3)

Do all you can to secure parental Blessing

3. Through priests or prophets (Gen. 12:3; Num. 6:23; Heb. 7:7)
Your priest is a custodian of your Blessing
If you relate well and connect well, you don’t have a limit on the Blessing you can collect

4. Through the poor or the less privileged (Job 29:11-16; Ps. 72:10-15)

PRAYER:

Father, I connect to the blessedness of the Blessing. Help me to connect to all the channels of the Blessing – to connect the Blessing directly from You, through my biological and spiritual parents, through my priest and prophet, and the grace to connect it by ministering the less privileged in Jesus’ Name!

PRAYER FOR THE CIVIL SERVICE (CIVIL SERVANTS):

1. Father, breathe upon the civil service of Nigeria. Lay Your Hands upon the civil service of Nigeria. Lift Your children to places of relevance and positions of impact where they can change the Nation for good.
2. Father, let the fear of God rule and reign in the civil service in Nigeria, in Jesus’ Name.
3. Father, anoint the workforce of Nigeria to take Nigeria to the level of first world nations, in Jesus’ Name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR THE CIVIL SERVICE:

• Every diversion of labour and labour without reward is arrested in Jesus’ Name!
• Everyone whose junior is sitting on top of them, that anomaly is corrected!
• Serenity in the civil service in Jesus’ Name.

COMMUNION FOCUS:

The Cup of the Blessing; every blessing pronounced on this altar is communicated and transmitted into your life by the communion

PARENTAL BLESSING (MUMMY):

• The delay is over in Jesus’ Name!
• Everyone trusting God to be married, we declare the delay is over!
• We declare blessings upon homes and upon children and upon those trusting God for the fruit of the womb!
• We declare blessings on couples and the establishment of marital destiny and dignity in homes in Jesus’ Name!

PARENTAL BLESSING (DADDY):

• This month shall do you well!
• Every conspiracy against your life and destiny, today is the end forever!
• You shall fulfil your days!
• Every planting of hell in your life, today they are uprooted!
• Systems are coming under pressure and shall lose their peace, sleep and rest until what is yours enters into your hands!
  It is well with you, your family and Nigeria! The perfect council of the Lord shall come to pass!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

• Every deposit of hell in your life today is returned back to hell!
• We take authority over the spirit of kidnapping in Nigeria! We curse the altars behind it and set them on fire! We decree deliverance for Nigeria!
• Those who send, patronise or license killers and kidnappers, they shall face the judgement of Jehovah!
• Where blood is wasted, yours shall never be wasted!
• Whatever be the challenge you came here with, it is over forever!
• A satanic litigation and accusation has just been set on fire!
• That reproach, pain, rejection, depression and disappointment you came here with, today, that yoke is broken!
• Any word spoken over your life by an authority figure that is working against you, I stand today, and declare that it is reversed
• Anyone who came here with a wrong aroma/fragrance that makes people to run from you, today, it is dissolved by the Blessing!
• The last time you laboured in vain shall be the last time forever!
• Every spirit of lethargy, laziness and weakness is arrested now!
• Whatever has narrowed your destiny, today the narrowing is over!
• Whatever has made your life an irrelevant, piece of statistical information, today, it is over!

Uprightness according to Oxford English Dictionary is the condition of being honourable or honest. It is the conduct that conforms to an accepted standard of right and wrong. Uprightness can also refer to positive character, decency, rectitude, integrity, morality, virtue and righteousness.

SCRIPTURE: For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalms 5:12

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your character, many times, introduces you even before you speak.

It is confirmed that uprightness has an open door power. Integrity or Godly character is a door opener. God blesses the man of integrity with favour, and favour comes with open doors. It is well known that good character opens doors and bad character closes doors.

A Scriptural example of a man whose good character opened doors of supply for, was Elisha the Prophet. Elisha was perceived to be a holy man of God by the Woman of Shunem, and by that confirmation, a house was built for him (2 Kings 4:8-11). Now, what built the house for Elisha was not his title but his manners. It is important to know that character is both perceivable and discernible.

People’s perception of you can affect your possession in life. Your character, many times, introduces you even before you speak. The character of an excitable, exciting or an excited person is feel-able, and a depressed person also exudes depression all around him.

Now, one key to Godly character is passionate love for God. To love God with passion means the desire to please God is placed above the desire to please self. It means, making God Almighty the centre of your life. It means that there is nothing and no one that can take the place of God in your life.

Receive the grace to maintain Godly character, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: Your character, many times, introduces you even before you speak.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Ask God for the grace to work on your character on a daily basis.
2. Love God, and love your neighbour as you love yourself.

PRAYER: O Lord, I ask for the grace to work on my character on a daily basis. Help me to progressively grow into Your Image, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. — Romans 12:12

No matter what we do in life, at some point in time we will all face a level of criticism. But it is possible to learn how to cope with criticism and not let it affect your life.

We can be grateful for the example the apostle Paul set for us. Paul experienced criticism often, but he said that he was not concerned about the judgment of others. He knew he was in God’s hands and that in the end he would stand before God and give an account of himself and his life. He would not stand before any man to be judged (see 1 Corinthians 4:3–4).

You may not always do everything right, but God sees your heart. If you’re attempting to live for God and looking for ways to love others, God is pleased (see Matthew 22:37–40). Don’t worry about the criticism of others; God loves you. His love and approval are all you need.

Prayer Starter: Father, I thank You that I don’t have to listen to the criticism of others. You see my heart and You know my motives. I thank You that Your approval is greater than the approval of any person. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
