Christian Post Report – Earlier this week, a report from Sony Computer Entertainment Australia offered details of the upcoming PlayStation 4 system software update version 2.50.
According to the report, the software update,, nicknamed Yukimura will see the streaming frame rate improvement from 30fps to 60fps which will be available both for Remote and Share Play options.
The official press release further revealed details of the update which, as stated, also includes giving the players the chance to upgrade their sub-account to master account when they turn 18. This would consequently remove restrictions “for chat, enabling users to fund their own wallet, make purchases and more.”
Yukimura also gives PlayStation gamers a “redefined social gaming experience” and social networking access through the Facebook friend search.
“PlayStation now lets you go even bigger by connecting with your Facebook friends on PS4 using your linked account. Search for Facebook friends who are PSN members and build on the foundation of Friends you already have in your list,” Sony said.
Trophy screenshots is also coming to Yukimura. Right after a player gets a Trophy, “a screenshot will automatically be captured.” This feature meanwhile gives player the ability to remove games from the Trophy list which they weren’t able to complete.
Accessibility Options, meanwhile, offers a wide variety of player-centric options for text and speech like “enlarged text, bolder fonts, higher contrast UI, zoom for displayed pictures, invert colours on screen and more.”
Yukimura, moreover, gives players the chance to share their game moments via Dailymotion by simply clicking on the Share button found in their DualShock 4 controller.
The PS4 system software update 2.5 “Yukimura” will roll out soon to PS4 users in Australia, Gamespot wrote.
