US Popular female rapper, Cardi B released a controversial song called WAP. Don’t border checking the meaning on google if you are a Christian. The song is a disgrace to Women empowerment as some critics have put it.

Eviemagazine report that the song is being touted as the bold epitome of female empowerment. The X-rated lyrics and video provide nothing more than shock value in a piece of glorified porn that couldn’t be further from real femininity.

A report in Medium says, both the song and music video have been criticized for their explicit lyrics and imagery from just about all sides.

Dr Claire Rush of Girls’ Brigade Ministries wrote on premier Christianity that “the new hit song by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion will fuel casual sexism, misogyny and harassment, says , and what’s more: it’s anti-Gospel” – this report is true.

She said, Cardi B, hailed as one of the most influential female rappers of all time by Forbes, released her music video for her new single ‘WAP ‘featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The video has been described as a confident display of women who demonstrate their sexual prowess.

With lyrics like “there’s some whores in the house”, ‘WAP’ broke the record for the biggest 24-hour debut for an all-female collaboration on YouTube gathering 26 million views in its first day of release.
