‘WAP’ isn’t empowering women, it is objectifying them

US Popular female rapper, Cardi B released a controversial song called WAP. Don’t border checking the meaning on google if you are a Christian. The song is a disgrace to Women empowerment as some critics have put it.

Eviemagazine report that the song is being touted as the bold epitome of female empowerment. The X-rated lyrics and video provide nothing more than shock value in a piece of glorified porn that couldn’t be further from real femininity.

A report in Medium says, both the song and music video have been criticized for their explicit lyrics and imagery from just about all sides.

Dr Claire Rush of Girls’ Brigade Ministries wrote on premier Christianity that “the new hit song by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion will fuel casual sexism, misogyny and harassment, says , and what’s more: it’s anti-Gospel” – this report is true.

- We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?

If you are not a Christian, and would like to become a Christian. Simply say - "LORD Jesus, thank you for forgiving me of my SINs, today I am deciding to follow you. Accept me into your family, in Jesus name I pray. Amen "
