Folau’s cousin loses job after comparing Catholicism to devil worship

Mr Folau was employed as a tutor at St Gregory’s College in Campbelltown, Sydney.

Headmaster Lee McMaster confirmed the decision to 2GB radio, saying: “We have met with Josiah recently and in our discussions, Josiah has made the decision to discontinue his casual employment at St Gregory’s College. We respect Josiah’s privacy in this matter.”

Josiah Folau is a member of The Truth of Jesus Christ Church, founded by his uncle, Israel Folau’s father, Pastor Eni.

In a letter to a church member, Josiah said: “any devout Catholic person IS NOT A SAVED CHRISTIAN WHATSOEVER.

“Look at Catholic doctrine, almost 100% of it is false and is filled with lies.”

“The blasphemous Catholic mass is a paganistic ritual rooted in heresy, evil and devil worship.

He also said: “Roman Catholicism is masked devil worship.”

This comes as Israel Folau’s legal team begin court proceedings against Rugby Australia and NSW Waratahs.

Kentucky Law Requiring ‘In God We Trust’ Be Displayed at Schools Going into Effect

Kentucky Law Requiring ‘In God We Trust’ Be Displayed at Schools Going into Effect

According to a new law passed in Kentucky, prominent banners displaying “In God We Trust” will be hung in schools across the state, according to Local 12 News.

“Local boards shall require each public elementary and secondary school to display the national motto of the United States, ‘In God We Trust,’ in a prominent location in the school,” the law, which passed in February, reads.

Kentucky is one of several states, including Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Arizona, and South Dakota, who now require the words displayed, according to Forbes Magazine.

The spike in legislation regarding the phrase likely came from a document called, “Report and Analysis on Religious Freedom Measures Impacting Prayer and Faith in America.” The report, put together by pro-religious groups, encourages lawmakers that “states can and must play a crucial role in protecting religious freedom.”

Because “In God We Trust” is on money and license plates, some lawmakers, according to the Washington Post, have argued that the required signage is about reaffirming history.

Some have stuck to the religious argument. “Let’s keep hope alive,” South Dakotan Republican state Sen. Phil Jensen said. “This is our legislature, our history, a nation that trusts God.”

But several opponents of the law in Kentucky believe the phrase could…

Vicar’s cat causes holiday chaos after hiding in caravan

Rev Jane Brown from St Mary’s in Garforth and her husband Paul discovered their cat Squishy had joined them in their caravan when they got to France.

“She must have been in there for at least 23 hours by the time we found her”, Rev Brown told the Yorkshire Evening Post. “Squish is a very inquisitive cat, she is still sniffing around now and hasn’t learned her lesson at all.”

Due to local regulations, they were forced to keep the cat in the caravan for 21 days elongating their break.

Keeping Squishy indoors caused its own problems due to France suffering due to a heatwave.

They kept the cat cool by using ice blocks and a wet flannel.

The Brown’s also needed to arrange a rabies jab and collect a pet passport.

Rev Brown was forced to leave her husband and cat behind as she needed to return to work.

Kayne West Is a “Born-Again” Christian, According to Nicki Minaj

Kayne West Is a “Born-Again” Christian, According to Nicki Minaj

According to rapper Nicki Minaj, Kanye West has become a “born-again Christian.”

In an episode of “Queen Radio” on Apple Music, Minaj shared in a conversation with Chance the Rapper that West had told her he had “turned to God” in 2016 after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, according to Faithwire.

“Sometimes in the music business, we think that other artists don’t believe in God or aren’t spiritual as we are,” she shared. “Then when you find people, because I was just with Kanye, and he told me he’s a born-again Christian now.”

Minaj continued to say she had seen a change in West’s attitude. “Like, my first instinct was, ‘I’m so proud of you,’ because I could see there’s a peace that he has now that just surpasses everything,” she said. “And that’s what I find God gives you. And I love when I see men that are man enough to embrace God.”

Chance the Rapper, who has been vocal about his Christian faith, agreed with Minaj. “…My wife literally saved my life by becoming celibate and going and getting baptized,” Chance shared. “It changed my life for real and now I know exactly where my strength comes from, and this is all after I proclaimed I love Jesus and stuff.”

Belief in God is important to Minaj, too. She claims to run as far away as possible from people who do not believe in God and encouraged women to be…

Bishop warns of propaganda as Gov announces £2bn spending for no deal Brexit

Despite Boris Johnson claiming he doesn’t want to leave the EU without a deal, Chancellor Sajid Javid announced the spending which will cover the stockpiling of medicines, the hiring of more border officials and the funding of a publicity campaign.

Commons Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg said Boris Johnson would not be “browbeaten” by Brussels and the European Union must realise the UK was not “frightened” of leaving.

Dr Graham Kings, an assistant bishop in the Diocese of Southwark expressed his disappointment on the News Hour.

“I’m appalled by this huge waste of resources, when it’s clear that no deal cannot happen,” he said. “These resources could be spent much better on the NHS and on education.”

Robert Kingston

The Prime Minister chaired his first meeting of the Brexit war cabinet – comprising the Chancellor, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Michael Gove, Brexit Secretary Steve Barclay and Attorney General Geoffrey Cox – on Thursday.

Explaining the reason for the spending Sajid Javid said: “With 92 days until the UK leaves the European Union it’s vital that we intensify our planning to ensure we are ready.

“We want to get a good deal that abolishes the anti-democratic backstop. But if we can’t get a good deal, we’ll have to leave without one.

“This additional £2.1 billion will ensure we are ready to…
