Christian Post Report – Bethenny and Ramona argue in The Hamptons, on The Real Housewives of New York

This week on “The Real Housewives of New York,” the ladies head out to LuAnn de Lesseps’ house in The Hamptons, and an old feud gets reignited when Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer argue about brunch.

Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson share a ride going to The Hamptons, and they waste no time talking about the other ladies. Heather says that she’s not really looking forward to seeing Sonja.

Meanwhile, Ramona and Dorinda Medley arrive at Ramona’s Hamptons home, the one she shared with Mario for nearly 20 years before they divorced.

Being back in the house brings up memories for Ramona, so she opens up a bottle of wine. Dorinda tells her that cheating is never excusable, and that those who are in an unhappy relationship should just end things instead of seeking attention from another person.

Later, all the ladies meet up at LuAnn’s house, and they see that LuAnn is having an estate sale. Ramona approaches the Countess and apologizes for her behavior in the past, specifically for the time that she was rude to her when she was going through a divorce. Ramona said that now that she’s in a similar situation, she understands what LuAnn is going through.

“They say in life forgive and forget,” LuAnn tells her. “But, we’ll see if you really mean it.”

At LuAnn’s home, Carole flirts with LuAnn’s chef Adam, and she accidentally burns herself on the stove. Carole later quips that it’s not her fault that she’s “very attractive to attractive men.”

Later, Bethenny asks the other ladies if they would like to go to her place for brunch. Sonja says she’ll go, but Ramona isn’t having that as she tells Sonja, “You’re my guest and you’re not going anywhere.”

“Are you really saying this out loud right now?” an incredulous Bethenny asks Ramona.

Ramona explains that she already sent emails asking everyone to her place for brunch, but no one got Ramona’s invitation.

“Something is wrong with my emails,” Ramona mused.

Bethenny attempts to leave, and Ramona follows her to apologize.

“I really don’t wanna hang out with you,” said Bethenny. “I’m not interested in engaging you.”

Ramona stomps back into LuAnn’s house and announces, “Bethenny made a line in the sand!”

“The Real Housewives of New York” airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Christian Post Report – On March 9, Apple finally announced its newest ultraportable laptop.

Apple CEO Tim Cook launched their newest notebook line during the March live event. Instead of naming it MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, the newest addition to the Apple is simply called MacBook.

According to Apple’s SVP of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller, “Apple has reinvented the notebook with the new MacBook, and at just two pounds an 13.1mm, it’s the thinnest and lightest Mac ever.”

 “Every component of the MacBook reveals a new innovation. From its fanless design, ultra-thin Retina display and full size keyboard that’s 34% thinner, to its all-new Force Touch trackpad, versatile USB-C port and breakthrough terraced battery design, the new MacBook is the future of the notebook.”

Apple updated the look of the new MacBook by reducing the size of the bezel at the display edge. The Apple logo at the back is doesn’t glow; instead it is now similar to that of the iPad.

The Retina display is improved, with a resolution of 2304×1440 pixels (226ppi). This is almost comparable to the 13in Retina MacBook Pro’s 227ppi pixel density. At 0.88mm thin, it is the thinnest Mac display ever.
Many fans of the Apple notebook line would be delighted to know that the new MacBook is available in gold finish.

One of the most looked-after features of the new MacBook is its trackpad called the Force Touch Trackpad – a trackpad that’s pressure sensitive, enabling it to differentiate a tap and a click. The trackpad has four Force Sensor allowing users the liberty to click anywhere.

In addition to the improved trackpad, the keyboard also had a make-over. It is still full-size but it now uses a butterfly mechanism that allowed the designers to make the notebook 40% thinner.

The new MacBook is now available through Apple Authorized Resellers, Apple Online Store, and Apple Retail Store.

The next patch of “Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls,” Patch 2.2.0 went live last April 7, released by Blizzard. The patch first went live in the Americas, with Asia and Europe following soon after.

The latest patch of the action role-playing game is said to bring new treasure goblins, legendary items and an improved crafting experience, as reported in IGN. Treasure goblins when caught by players, bring riches to those who catch them.

The improvements are mostly found in the game’s Adventure Mode which includes the addition of three new treasure goblins. According to the IGN report, players are given the chance to increase their blood shard cap by “earning new personal records in Solo Greater Rifts, the randomized dungeons in Adventure Mode.” These blood shards can be spent as one goes through Kadala in the town areas of the game.

Among the new items introduced in the patch are two new legendary potions, two new legendary gems and new armor sets for selected classes: Wizard, Barbarian and Demon Hunter.

Patch 2.2.0 also allows players to craft gems and items in quantities, rather than clicking through several items at once.

According to another report in Venture Capital Post, a PC gamer commented on the patch’s ability to give the player access to a bottomless potion instead of the usual regular health potions that run out.

The game is the third installment in the “Diablo” game franchise. It was first released in May and June 2012 for PC and OSX. The console version followed in September for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Next generation consoles got their version almost two years after, in 2014.

The main premise of the game is that players need to defeat the Lord of Terror, Diablo. Players need to choose one of six character classes – Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, Wizard or Crusader (this is only available with the expansion pack, “Reaper of Souls.”)

Christian Post Report – “Attack on Titan” season two will be released by 2016, the series’ actors and director have confirmed.

The television adaptation of the popular Japanese manga series, “Attack on Titan” season two has been confirmed for release in 2016, the television series’ actors, Yuki Kaji, Marina Inoue and Yui Ishikawa, and their director Tetsuro Araki have said.

The first season of the series covered over half of the manga material available since it started airing in October 2014, and the production team has decided to delay season two to 2016 to await more chapters to be published.

Fans may expect season two to show less filler episodes than the previous season, news which may be met with approval from manga series followers who are looking forward to the TV adaptation to stay true to the existing 15 tankōbon volumes.

Two original video animation prequels have already been released – “Attack on Titan: No Regrets, Birth of Levi” in December 9 last year and in April 9, to compensate fans of the series for the long wait between show seasons.

Meanwhile, two live action “Attack on Titan” movies, produced by Toho Studios, the same production outfit bringing the “Godzilla” franchise to theaters in 2016, are making their entrance to US theaters in late summer and autumn this year.

The two films will be released in consecutively in August and September, and the news has been greeted by mixed reactions from fans, some of whom predict the live action adaptations may tarnish the image of the beloved anime series. However, many of the manga and TV series followers have reportedly expressed their approval for the films’ casting.

“Attack on Titan” revolves around the story of Eren Yeager and his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, who, together with their childhood playmate, Armin Arlert, join the military to defend the human race against gigantic creatures known as Titans that invade human settlements and snack on the denizens.

Christian Post Report – Michelle MacLaren will no longer direct “Wonder Woman.”

The production for the upcoming film “Wonder Woman” is experiencing delays as Variety reported director Michelle MacLaren opts out due to creative differences with the team.

“Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct ‘Wonder Woman’ together,” the studio said in a statement.

The former director of several “Game of Thrones” and “Breaking Bad” episodes was selected from a list of female directors when Warner Bros and DC wanted to interject a woman’s perspective into the film. Although there are no confirmations yet, many speculate that a male director would take over the production.

MacLaren’s departure from the film sparks rumors that the superhero productions are having difficulties working with female directors. A similar incident also occurred in 2011 when Patty Jenkins was replaced by Alan Taylor as the director of “Thor: The Dark World.”

Developed on multiple tracks, Wonder Woman’s script is said to be heavily influenced by MacLaren. This development would be a big loss to the film. To date, there are no reports citing changes in the release date. The movie adaptation of the comic book character is set for release on June 23, 2017.

Meanwhile, the film will still feature Gal Gadot for the titular role. Casting for the male lead role is still ongoing. Rumors are circulating that the love interest of ‘Wonder Woman’ Scott Eastwood would be played by Steve Trevor. Sources have since denied the rumors.

Warner Bros and DC is yet to release details about the movie plot, but fans are speculating that it could be a continuation of where Gadot’s character will stand after “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

“Wonder Woman” would be Gadot’s first major film after her acting stints in television series’ including “Game of Thrones” and “Breaking Bad.”

After Sony started pushing the Android 5.0 Lollipop updates to the Xperia Z2 and the Xperia Z3 Compact in March, the company recently announced that they will start rolling out the much awaited update to other Z series phones.

Starting April 13, Sony has the following phones lined up for updates: the Xperia Z Ultra, the Xperia Z3 Dual, the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z1 Compact.

According to a report in iDigitalTimes, the update will be made available through Over-The-Air or OTA. In order for phone owners to check if they are eligible for an update, they must go to Settings, then About Phone, then System Updates and select Check for Updates. The rollout is likely to happen in phases so users are advised to check for updates once in a while. It is also important that the phone is fully charged as downloading the update may take some time.

After this line up, the next Sony phones that will receive the update are the dual-SIM phones, the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia C3. The rollout for these will start next week.

A report in Tech Times cited that the next in line are the older Xperia Z phone models. This will complete Sony’s promise that the Lollipop update will be provided to its Xperia Z series. The models included are the Xperia Z, the Xperia ZR and the Xperia ZL. The Xperia Tablet Z is also said to receive the update.

The report also said that although Sony has made the update available to the said phones, rollout is still very much dependent on the different mobile carriers in the different countries.

Sony is one of the few mobile phone makers who made it a point to bring the OS update even to older models of its flagship phones, the Z series. Owners of non-Z series phones however are still waiting for news if the update will ever reach their phones.

While fans of the cult classic “Pitch Perfect” are anticipating the movie’s sequel “Pitch Perfect 2” on May 15, one of the film’s stars have already confirmed that there will be a third sequel. Rebel Wilson, who plays one of the Barden Bella characters, Fat Amy, recently told a reporter that she has signed on to be part of said sequel.

According to a report in Hollywood Life, Los Angeles Times reporter Amy Kaufman shared the news through a tweet on April 10 that said: “News: Rebel Wilson just told me that there will be a third Pitch Perfect and she recently signed on to be in it (She doesn’t know abt Kendrick.)”

Anna Kendrick also plays another pivotal character in the film, Beca Mitchell who is the leader of the Barden Bellas. Other cast members in the second film are Brittany Snow, Anna Camp and Skylar Astin. The director of “Pitch Perfect 2,” Elizabeth Banks, is also a member of the cast.

It is not yet known if anyone else from the original cast have been signed on. The sequel’s plot is also not known. Although it is likely that if there is a sequel, it will follow the adventures and misadventures of the acapella group, the Barden Bellas.

“Pitch Perfect 2” follows the group after they gained some prestige after winning the national collegiate championship. In this film however, some of the characters from the first film are already graduates, but this did not bar their appearance in the second film, such as that of Adam Devine as Bumper, Britanny Snow as Chloe Beale and Anna Camp as Aubrey Posen. This time around, the group faces another challenge of winning an international aca pella competition, which has never been won by an American group.

A report in SlashFilm also cites that if “Pitch Perfect 3” was indeed happening, the film’s writers have to contend with the fact that its lead characters Beca and Fat Amy are graduating seniors in the sequel. This means that they have to think of some creative way to bring them back in the third film.

A cryptic message from Björn Ulvaeus about a big announcement sent Abba fans in a frenzy. Just last week, the Swedish composer launched a website, “Mamma Mia! The Party,” along with a statement: “new entertainment experiment that I will tell everyone about on Wednesday.”

When quizzed of details about the project, even PR agents are mum when quizzed about the details of the said project. But this has not stopped fans of the group to speculate that the much-awaited reunion could be in the works. An Abba reunion has long been in the rumors mills, as some of the group’s former members have hinted in past interviews.

However some of Abba fans were quick to dismiss the reunion of the group who split in the 1980s.

Roxanne Dickson, an Australian fan, said to The Local: “I doubt it will be a reunion – and most serious fans would agree that will not happen. There has been a suggestion of a Mamma Mia themed dinner party for 100 people and then a performance. Sounds like fun, but only for the 100. I think we all hope it will be something all fans can enjoy – not just a select few.”

Composed of Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, and Agnetha Fältskog, Abba dominated the music scene in the 1970s. Their memorable win at the Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden in 1974 propelled their popularity. The group recorded international hits “Mamma Mia”, “Thank You for the Music”, and “Dancing Queen.”

At the height of their success, Ulvaeus and Fältskog tied the knot. While Andersson and Lyngstad, also married back then, divorced.

After much success, the group finally split in 1982. Lyngstad and Fältskog went on to pursue solo careers. Ulvaeus and Andersson continued to write for musicals, including “Mamma Mia!,” which became a hit feature film starring Meryl Streep and Swedish Stellan Skarsgård.

According to spoiler reports, the next episode of the hit medical TV drama series “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11 is said to bring back some painful memories for Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw).

A report posted by the Ecumenical News said that an incident involving a small plane crash will send the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in a red alert mode. However, two of its personnel (Mer and Arizona) will see the tragedy in a different light.

In the episode titled “One Flight Down,” horrible memories of death and destruction will flash before Mer’s eyes who, apparently, have lost one of her loved ones in a similar accident back in season eight.

Arizona’s personal case can be seen as even worse when her legs were amputated following the plane crash.

This new incident will apparently affect their professional duties. A promotional video for the upcoming episode saw the two women crouching in the supplies closet, which clearly suggests that they find it hard to face the horrors once again.

In the matters of the heart, a separate promo clip meanwhile indicates that Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is missing which will bring further worries to Mer.

“Derek missed his meeting in D.C. this morning. I called him and he did not pick up. I have not heard from him all day. 5 o’clock is my deadline. If there’s no news by then, I will go home and freak out,” Meredith said.

“You are freaking out now, aren’t you?” Maggie (Kelly McCreary) said.

“Yes,” Mer replied.

Could Dr. Shepherd have been in the plane? Or was he out again for something that Mer has long been so afraid about?

Christian Post Report – For seven years, fans of Bethesda’s “Fallout 4” waited aimlessly for when the game will finally be released. It is likely that Bethesda will launch the highly anticipated game in June during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which Bethesda will attend for the first time. However, gamers will need to stretch their patience a little more since the release date of the game will probably be around November, which is when most big titles are released.

Since Bethesda gives out limited information about its titles, fans of the game are left nothing but speculations. As early as 2013, speculations about “Fallout 4” are abound, even spawning a hoax website and an alleged leaked information from Kotaku detailing that the game is set in Boston.

Other rumors claim the game could be set in Boston. However, developers were quick to confirm that the setting would either be in Chicago or New York. Also spreading are rumors that the said game will not be launched on an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, which points to speculations that the game would have improved visuals that requires use of improved hardware like that of the next gen PS4 and Xbox One.

In the report by International Business Times about senior multiplayer designer Josh Hamrick moving to Bethesda Softworks, rumors spread that the anticipated single-player video game will incorporate a multiplayer option. If this happens Bethesda seems to haved upped the ante in its games.

With the limited information Bethesda is feeding its hungry fans, E3 event could be the only answer everyone is waiting for. Bethesda looks to have something big in store for its fans. Bethesda will not plan out a big event like E3 if they don’t have anything significant to give out to their fans.

Other titles expected during the E3 include “Elder Scrolls 6” and “Wolfenstein.”
