‘House of Cards’ Season 4 Release Date News: Filming to Start This Summer

Christian Post Report – President Frank Underwood is returning for another term as U.S. President in the next season of Netflix’s “House of Cards.” Season 4 of the original political drama on Netflix was officially announced by the network through its Twitter account last week.

The show’s next season will start production in the summer of 2015 and will be aired sometime 2016, although no definite premiere date has been set. “House of Cards” will see the return of Golden Globe 2015 Best Actor winner Kevin Spacey who will reprise his role as Mr. Underwood, U.S. president, and his wife, Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright.

A New York Times report describes Kevin Spacey’s character as a “ruthless Washington politician.” He is a Democrat from South Carolina who initiates an elaborate plan to get himself into the highest position of power in the country, with the help of his wife, Mrs. Underwood. Season 3 ended with Underwood seeking re-election and it seems that in Season 4, he had won the election.

The series is based on a BBC drama series of the same title. The Netflix original series is an online-only web television series, making the episodes of the season available for multiple viewings. It is also one of the online-only web TV series that has been recognized by award bodies like the Golden Globe and the Emmys. In 2013, it garnered three Emmy awards including Outstanding Director for David Fincher. Robin Wright won the Best Actress award in the 2014 Golden Globes. The next year was Kevin Spacey’s turn, when he won Best Actor in the 2015 Golden Globes.

A VCPost report speculated on the possible plot for the upcoming season. Aside from looking at the Underwoods in the White House, it will also likely focus on Doug Stamper’s decision in an earlier season to kill Rachel Posner after she attempted to kill him and also because she was privy to the president’s secrets.

Christian Post Report – The ladies of “The Real Housewives of New York” are back, and on Tuesday, fans tuned in to see LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kristen Taekman, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Sonja Morgan, newcomer Dorinda Medley, and Bethenny Frankel.

Bethenny is back, and she reveals that she’s been living in hotels since her split from Jason Hoppy. She has a new apartment, but it’s undergoing renovation right now. Bethenny and her dog Cookie check into a hotel on Central Park South, and she says that she’s “the richest homeless person in New York City” thanks to her ongoing divorce proceedings.

Kristen and Josh appear to be doing better this time around. After last season where fans got to see their issues which almost led to divorce, it seems that they have mended their relationship and are happier. Their child, Kingsley, is out of her leg braces and doing well too.

The ladies have a group dinner, and Carole, Kristen, and Heather are first to arrive. Carole tells them that she’s on a new diet which allows her to have only cucumbers, vodka, and butter. LuAnn arrives next, and she tells them that she moved into a new house in the Hamptons and is throwing a party. She tells them that she’s inviting Sonja, even though they never got along well.

“I really want to help Sonja because I feel like she has problems,” said LuAnn.

Later, Ramona meets with Sonja for lunch, and Ramona tells her all about what’s happening in her marriage. She said that after being with Mario for 25 years, now, it feels strange not to be with him. However, Sonja circles the conversation back to herself, and Ramona is outraged.

“I can’t believe it, she’s making it all about her!” said Ramona in the confessional.

Ramona changes the subject and asks Sonja if she’s going to LuAnn’s party, but Sonja says that she’s not so sure about that since the last time everyone got together, the ladies ganged up on her.

Meanwhile, Carole is meeting with the editor of her upcoming book. She’s been procrastinating and has been avoiding her calls. “I was supposed to turn in 80,000 words six months ago, and right now, I have a table of contents,” she confides.

Ramona goes for a drive with her realtor to find a new office space, and suddenly, she has a meltdown in the car.

She says that she wants to have another baby, but “I don’t even have an apartment, I don’t have anywhere to live for the daughter that I do have … I want a new life,” she sobs.

‘The Real Housewives of New York’ airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Christian Post Report – Yet another suspense and action-filled episode is coming this week on CBS’ hit police procedural TV drama series “Hawaii Five-O” Season 5.

Titled “Ua Helele’I Ka Hoku” or “Fallen Star,” a synopsis was posted on The Futon Critic where it teases about a death of an Elvis impersonator and then his body got stolen afterwards.

The incident, which happens during an Elvis impersonation convention, would call on the attention of Five-O wherein they must track down the culprits who, as found out, are actually after the hidden diamonds sewn into the victim’s costume.

Carter Matt said in their report that this week’s ordeal could prove to be a challenging one for Hawaii’s finest as the convention would expect to be littered with so many Elvis wannabes. This could prove to be very difficult to follow one particular suspect amongst the crowd.

The summary from TFC went on to mention that Gabriel Waincroft (Christopher Sean) will return to seek Chin’s (Daniel Dae Kim) help regarding his plans on getting off the island.

Written by David Wolkove and under the direction of James Wilcox, Episode 21 “Fallen Star” also features the acts of Alex O’Loughlin as Steve McGarrett, Scott Caan as Danny Williams, Grace Park as Kono Kalakaua, Masi Oka as Dr. Max Bergman, Chi McBride as Lou Grover, and Jorge Garcia as Jerry Ortega.

Returning alongside Sean are recurring cast members John Lovitz, who plays Barry Burns, and Dennis Chun as Sgt. Duke Lukela.

“Hawaii Five-O” Season 5 airs this Friday, April 10 at 9 p.m. on CBS.

‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’ Release Date News: Closed Alpha Ongoing, Set for October 16

Christian Post Report – Under yet another media franchise of author Tom Clancy called “Rainbow Six,” will a new massively multiplayer online game entitled “Rainbow Six Siege” be released this coming October 16, 2015. The game is being developed by Ubisoft, as with one other Tom Clancy game, “The Division” and “Assassin’s Creed Victory.”

Prior to the game’s release, however, Ubisoft announced the conduct of a closed alpha from April 7 to April 13. In a blog in Worth Playing, Ubisoft Montreal called on interested gamers who may want to participate. The results of the closed alpha will feed into what the development is doing to improve the gameplay experience, most especially the “siege gameplay and innovative destruction technology.”

The game’s siege feature is described as “a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy’s position.” Using Ubisoft Montreal’s Realblast engine, the game is said to “incorporate procedural destruction that is realistic and unscripted, meaning the environment reacts authentically, distinctively and dynamically,” depending on what type of bullets are used or the amount of explosives used. The blog further details how the closed alpha will run.

In another report in The Christian Times, Ubisoft indicated the areas that they would want to get “critical feedback” on during the alpha: test the core gameplay loops, test the server infrastructure which is also important for a good online multiplayer experience and general feedback on the game’s problem areas or issues.

In the Worth Playing piece, there was also a mention of going to the game’s official website and signing up for the waiting list for the beta test of the console and the PC versions, which is scheduled sometime later in the year.

“Rainbow Six” is a media franchise established by author Tom Clancy, after the publication of his novel “Rainbow Six,” which was about a fictional international counter-terrorist unit called “Rainbow.” The game is a first-person shooter video game.

A report from Star claims that the EDM DJ broke up with the singer-actress because of her “high-maintenance and needy” nature.

“She’d call him all the time and get upset if he didn’t drop everything and answer,” said an anonymous source to Star. “Zedd is tired of dealing with the drama.”

Gomez is currently filming “In Dubious Battle” in Atlanta right now while Zedd is busy promoting his album ‘True Colors’. It was earlier reported that the DJ had plans to visit Gomez on set, but the tabloid’s source claims that that plan has been scrapped.

“Zedd was supposed to go out to Georgia last week to visit her, but he had to cancel because of a gig,” the insider said.

However, Hollywood Life assures “Zedlena” supporters that they are still very much together and are more in love than ever.

“Selena was not dumped by Zedd. They are still together and planning on spending some much-needed time together,” an insider told the publication.

The source adds that the “I Want You to Know” singer always talks about the DJ and that she reportedly feels secure with him, and trusts that he won’t have a “wandering eye” just like her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

Another source tells Hollywood Life that Gomez plans to reunite with Zedd in Las Vegas as she reportedly will be there to support him on his upcoming weekend performances.

“She’s hoping to go to a couple of his weekend shows in Vegas to support him,” said the source. The insider adds that the only problem in their relationship is the lack of time to see each other, but Gomez is “determined to make up for lost time” now that the actress is almost done filming in Atlanta.

Christian Post Report – Rumored celebrity couple Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin, after several months of not being seen together, were said to have reunited over the Easter weekend.

According to a report in US Weekly, Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence had a quick lunch followed by a stroll in Central Park during Easter weekend.

Eyewitnesses say that on Saturday, the pair arrived at Tavern on the Green separately, with the 24-year-old Jennifer Lawrence arriving first with a bodyguard and later followed by the 38-year-old Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin. The two enjoyed a quick brunch, a roast beef sandwich for Lawrence and Eggs Benedict for Martin.

After the meal, the pair were seen leaving the restaurant hand in hand. According to the report, their next destination was Strawberry Fields, also in Central Park, which is a 2.5 hectare memorial dedicated to the late John Lennon. Apparently, this was Lawrence’s special request.

In another report on ET Online, the pair reportedly spent the rest of the day together.

On Easter Sunday morning, the pair were also seen at a small airport in New Jersey where they reportedly boarded a private plane to an unknown destination. They were photographed arriving at the airport separately also.

It has been a while since their last public appearance, which fueled rumors that the two had called it quits. The last time the pair went out together was at the 21st birthday of One Direction member Harry Styles in January. Prior to this, US Weekly says that the couple had cooled off last October because they could not make their schedules work, according to a source close to Martin.

Martin also spent spring break vacation with estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their two kids in Mexico, which caused further speculation about the status of his relationship with Lawrence.

Christian Post Report – A YouTube user has created a “Grand Theft Auto V” video using the recently released trailer for the latest James Bond installment, “Spectre.”

Fans of 007 and the GTA games series were treated to a video created by Joris Prudhon, a YouTube user who put the “Grand Theft Auto V” treatment on the upcoming James Bond offering, “Spectre.”

Prudhon launched himself into fame last year when he recreated the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer and gave it a “Grand Theft Auto V” spin. That version has since gathered over 700,000 views on YouTube.

The ring showing Spectre’s logo featured on the original trailer also makes an appearance in the video, and while the analogs weren’t rendered as perfectly, the meeting with Christoph Waltz’s character is included, even if Prudhon didn’t quite make the setting details clear.

The video remains relatively faithful to the “Spectre” trailer, however. The 3D version of Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond, is a fairly accurate rendering, along with a fizzy-haired version of Naomie Harris. Even the iconic and climactic James Bond soundtrack is thrown in at the end for good measure.

Recreating parodies of trailers was made possible by a number of complex tools present in “GTA IV,” giving creative players a venue to produce their own intricate videos. The Spectre-GTA V version is not the first in this genre, parody versions of E3 and the “Need for Speed” trailers have already been created and have their own following on YouTube.

Console players without “Rockstar” movie maker tools at their disposal may make do with multiplayer positional tracking and painstaking manual camera edits. One such example is the aqueduct chase sequence in the recreated “Terminator 2.”

Fans of these types of remakes should soon expect a rendering of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer, and even the complex “Terminator: Genisys” recreation in GTA V, courtesy of the gaming community.

Christian Post Report – Barcelona travel to Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan to face Sevilla in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday with a start time of 2 p.m. ET, and the game is available to watch online through live stream (details below).

Both teams are in excellent forms as Sevilla have won five straight matches. They are currently fifth in the La Liga table and are only one point behind Valencia for the UEFA Champions League spot.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are atop the table with 74 points, four points above rivals Real Madrid who are second.

Like Sevilla, the Catalans are also on a winning streak as they have pulled off six straight victories that includes a big win over Real Madrid.

In the 2-1 victory, Jeremy Mathieu became the unlikely goal scorer as he opened the scoring in the 19th minute of the game. Cristiano Ronaldo came back in the 31st but Luis Suarez converted in the 56th and proved to be game’s winning goal.

They followed that result with a 1-0 win against Celta de Vigo before a 4-0 thrashing of the struggling Almeria.

Lionel Messi continues to lead the charge for Barcelona with 33 goals, while Neymar and Suarez have helped him perfectly with 17 and 10, respectively.

Sevilla are still capable of reaching the UEFA Champions League next year, as they are only a point behind for the final qualifying spot, but also only four points away from automatic qualification.

They started their streak in an exciting 4-3 win over Deportivo La Coruna, but would go on and tighten up on defense asn they would only allow one goal in their next four matches.

Their most recent win was a 2-1 victory over Levante, with Kevin Gameiro and Jose Antonio Reyes scoring for Sevilla.

In their first meeting of the season at Camp Nou, Barcelona throttled past Sevila 5-1, with Messi completing a hat-trick, while Ivan Rakitic and Neymar scored as well.

Sevilla’s only conversion was from an own goal by Jordi Alba as it was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect game for the Catalans.

Christian Post Report – After about a week-long hiatus from the airwaves, ABC’s hit TV series “Revenge” will finally return with more suspense, intrigue and drama in the upcoming segment titled “Exposure.”

Spoiler reports indicated that the brand new episode will pick up from the events of last week’s showing titled “Clarity.”

Fans will find out that Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) won’t let Emily (Emily VanCamp) have a peaceful and “promising future” now that she has already revealed to everyone her real identity as David Clark’s (James Tupper) long-lost daughter, Amanda.

A synopsis from The Futon Critic indicated that the Grayson matriarch will bring more misery to Amanda’s life by uncovering “devastating new secrets” from her past. These new revelations could also threaten the things that the young Clark has accomplished as Emily.

Aside from Victoria, Emily’s close ally, Nolan (Gabriel Mann), seems devastated and at the same time disappointed with the events happening on Emily. Nolan has strongly disagreed with Emily’s big reveal plans from the start. Now that everything was left to the open, could this mean that their friendship will be affected?

To add to the list of people unhappy with Emily’s decision, Ben (Brian Hallisay) appears dismayed and might be having second thoughts of pursuing her romantic plans with the Hampton resident.

However, not everyone in Hampton is going against Emily. Christian Today said that her childhood friend, Jack, (Nick Wechsler) is “surprisingly happy” with Emily’s revelation. Will the turn of events be favourable in his part?

Christian Post Report – I read an interesting article about how narcissistic our culture is today. It said, “A new analysis of the American Freshman Survey, which has accumulated data for the past 47 years from 9 million young adults, reveals that college students are more likely than ever to call themselves gifted and driven to succeed, even though their test scores and time spent studying are decreasing.

The article went on to talk about how because of Facebook and Twitter, everyone can act like they are a rock star. They can live in the fantasy world of video games as an Olympian or sharpshooter.

But then there are those who have a realistic assessment of themselves, and here is some good news: God can do amazing things through those people. In fact, God goes out of His way to find people like that—people who see their shortcomings, but also the greatness of God.

When Simon Peter saw himself in light of God’s greatness, he told Jesus, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man!” (Luke 5:8). In other words, “Don’t waste your time on me Lord. I will only let you down!”

The people God uses are not proud and arrogant, but see themselves for what they are.

This gives hope to all the people out there who are not extraordinary, but ordinary.

Those who are not necessarily the best students, class president, or on the homecoming team.

Those who are not the first chosen for the team, but the last.

Those who have not made the cover of People magazine’s “World’s Most Beautiful People.”

If we humble ourselves, examine our gifts and abilities realistically, and then hand them over to God to use as He pleases, God can and will use us for His glory.

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up” (James 4:10 NKJV).
