Christian Post Report – With the release date of Apple’s highly anticipated smartwatch, the Apple Watch, already drawing nearer, a recent report indicated that for those who are planning to buy the device should first make their online reservations.

A report from IGN cited CNET saying that would-be buyers of Apple’s first wearable technology should bear in mind that unlike the company’s iPhone and iPad products, the Apple Watch won’t be available for them if they plan to just walk into their store to buy it.

The sales, according to the site, will only be made possible “through a reservation system” and this will be true “for the indefinite future.”

“Apple has no plans at this time to allow you to stop into a store and walk out with an Apple Watch, even after the device officially hits the market,” CNET wrote.

Buyers should be able to secure an appointment with a store representative before they can try the device for a fitting, not unless they are lucky enough to visit “an Apple Store during a lull.”

The Watch, which reportedly will cost from $349 to $17,000, will be made available on April 24. Pre-oders and online reservations will start this Friday, April 10 at 12:01 a.m. PT.

“The move to offer Apple Watch only by reservation is likely for two reasons — making sure Apple has the right inventory on hand for what consumers want and being able to walk through the process with potential buyers when they come into the store,” CNET speculated.

Christian Post Report – Netflix recently announced that it will once again bring back the hit political drama series “House of Cards” to its streaming service for another season. The award-winning show, which features Kevin Spacey U. S. President Frank Underwood and Robin Wright as his wife, Claire, will go into a fourth season.

Netflix’s official announcement, which was done via their social media account, stated that production for the upcoming season is scheduled to commence this summer.

Although the streaming service provider has yet to release the outing date as well as the synopsis of the show’s forthcoming chapter, a lot of speculations about the fate of the Underwoods have gone on online. One theory pointed out to the growing tension between the couple which will result to something drastic.

A report from Enstarz cited executive producer Beau Willimon’s interview with The Daily Beast wherein he discussed the “contentious points” in the show particularly that of the Frank’s treatment towards his wife.

“The scariest thing for us, narratively, was to take the core of this show, its greatest strength — this unorthodox, unholy union between these two people — and see it break apart,” Willimon talks about Frank and Claire’s deteriorating relationship. “It had to be violent, and not just physically, but psychologically. What we’re seeing is a rift. It’s had 28 years to grow stronger, and through the course of a very short amount of time in the White House, it’s come apart.”

Will the earlier theories of Claire killing Frank or the opposite come true?

Christian Post Report – There is a direct connection between a Christian’s worship and a Christian’s witness. Believers are being watched both inside and outside of the church.

When you go to church every week and things are going your way, when you have the perfect little family, a great job, a nice home, and your health is good, people will look at you and say, “Well yeah, you are not living in reality. Of course you are happy.”

But then one day maybe tragedy befalls you. You lose that job or one of your children or your health. When something difficult happens and you are still praising God, that is a testimony to a lost and watching world.

Your worship is a witness to people at church as well. When nonbelievers go to church, they are checking everything out. They are taking it all in. What kind of witness are you to the people sitting near you? They may be Christians, or they may not be. They may be there for the first time—and maybe for the last time. They will form an evaluation on what they believe about God and Christianity largely based on what they see.

You might say, “Well, that is a lot of pressure, Greg.” All I am saying is that you are being watched. And I think it’s a powerful testimony when you are worshiping the Lord and a nonbeliever is standing there next to you thinking, What is this all about?

It was watching Christians worship the Lord on my high school campus that opened my heart to listen to the gospel. And then when someone shared from God’s Word, I wanted to hear it, and I ended up believing that day. My heart was opened by watching Christians worship with sincerity.

Worship is a witness.

Christian Post Report – Celebrity couple Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin were reportedly seen on a romantic date in New York City over the weekend, according to reports.

According to the publication, both the “Hunger Games” star and the Coldplay front man met in an NYC restaurant, Tavern on the Green, to celebrate the Easter, after which, they boarded on a private plane on Sunday at the Teterboro Airport, New Jersey.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence is one of the many stars affected by the biggest celebrity hacking scandal in history.

Sources for the publication went on to describe the details of the “romantic date.”

“It was an affectionate and romantic date for Chris and Jen,” an eyewitness told Us Magazine. “They arrived separately, Jen first and then waited in her car for a little bit before moving into the restaurant with her bodyguard. Then Chris got there. They made it a quick lunch, she had a roast beef sandwich and he had eggs Benedict.”

Another onlooker told The New York Post newspaper that the two went out for a walk in the park afterwards.

”They were talking softly to each other throughout the meal. As they left, she changed shoes and her sweater, and she was overheard telling him she wanted to take a walk through Strawberry Fields, and they left holding hands,” the source said.

Then on Easter Sunday, Lawrence, 24, and Martin, 38, where then snapped heading together at the mentioned Jersey airport.

Meanwhile, the “Fix You” performer was reportedly seen spending time with estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow and kids, Apple and Moses, at a resort in Mexico last week.

Sources insist that despite the friendly terms the two were enjoying, they are still pressing ahead for their divorce plans.

Under yet another media franchise of author Tom Clancy called “Rainbow Six,” will a new massively multiplayer online game entitled “Rainbow Six Siege” be released this coming October 16, 2015. The game is being developed by Ubisoft, as with one other Tom Clancy game, “The Division” and “Assassin’s Creed Victory.”

Prior to the game’s release, however, Ubisoft announced the conduct of a closed alpha from April 7 to April 13. In a blog in Worth Playing, Ubisoft Montreal called on interested gamers who may want to participate. The results of the closed alpha will feed into what the development is doing to improve the gameplay experience, most especially the “siege gameplay and innovative destruction technology.”

The game’s siege feature is described as “a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy’s position.” Using Ubisoft Montreal’s Realblast engine, the game is said to “incorporate procedural destruction that is realistic and unscripted, meaning the environment reacts authentically, distinctively and dynamically,” depending on what type of bullets are used or the amount of explosives used. The blog further details how the closed alpha will run.

In another report in The Christian Times, Ubisoft indicated the areas that they would want to get “critical feedback” on during the alpha: test the core gameplay loops, test the server infrastructure which is also important for a good online multiplayer experience and general feedback on the game’s problem areas or issues.

In the Worth Playing piece, there was also a mention of going to the game’s official website and signing up for the waiting list for the beta test of the console and the PC versions, which is scheduled sometime later in the year.

“Rainbow Six” is a media franchise established by author Tom Clancy, after the publication of his novel “Rainbow Six,” which was about a fictional international counter-terrorist unit called “Rainbow.” The game is a first-person shooter video game.

Christian Post Report – When DC announced in September 2014 that it was working on a new animated short series and animated feature of the “Justice League,” they did say that it will not be based on the storyline of the original 2001 comic book, but will instead be based on an original narrative to be written by Alan Burnett of “The Batman Animated Series” and “Batman Beyond.”

Bruce Timm returns as executive producer for the series and the feature film. He is said to have contributed a lot in character development and the story, according to Screen Rant. Timm is known for his work in creating and building “the modern DC animated universe and franchise.”

The recently released trailer for new “Justice League” shows an entirely different take on the heroic trinity of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. Another Screen Rant report describes it as portraying “a darker animated DC Universe,” with the heroes not only sporting different costumes, but also having different personalities.

Superman here is apparently a son of General Zod and is shown to be more violent and quick-tempered. Batman is not Bruce Wayne but Kirk Langstrom, who becomes a pseudo-vampire because of the bat venom that he used to try and cure his cancer. He now feeds on the blood of criminals in order to live. Wonder Woman is no longer an Amazon, but is the wife of Orion and is one of the New Gods. In the film and in the series, they still form the Justice League that is being persecuted for allegedly causing the massacre of a group of scientists.

The animated series entitled “Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles,” which will comprise of three parts, will be shown on Machinima within the second quarter of 2015. The animated feature will be released direct to video soon after the series.

Fans of the hit TV sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” Season 8 have always been aware of how slow Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) seems to progress in their relationship.

At a Valentines Day special episode, viewers saw them professing to each other their love for one another and then sealed it up with a kiss. However, there haven’t been any signs of intimacy manifested between them afterwards.

But, in this week’s showing titled “The Fortification Implementation,” Amy might be getting some from Sheldon as it was revealed that the two will go into a sleepover.

A spoiler report from IBTimes said that the physicist is quite sad for not having been invited to a physics symposium. The incident meanwhile brought back those sad childhood memories in which he was often left out by his siblings when they were building forts at home.

Later on, Amy and Sheldon thought of building a fort for themselves. What can fans expect during the sleepover?

On the other hand, a report from The Hollywood Reporter confirms a guesting appearance of “Victorious” actor, Matt Bennett.

Bennett will take on the role of Josh which the summary for tonight’s segment indicates, would be Howard’s (Simon Helberg) half-brother.

As Howard receives a notice that he has inherited his father’s house, and while discussing some home renovation, a stranger steps up at his door and introduced himself to be his half-brother from Mr. Wolowitz.

Obviously, the two got mad over the actions of their father but they eventually forgo the issue and bonded together.

“The Big Bang Theory” Season 8 episode 20 titled “The Fortification Implementation” airs this Thursday, April 9 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Christian Post Report – Selena Gomez is celebrating her Christian faith despite being hard at work in the studio this week.

The 22-year-old singer previously informed fans that she was working on “dark” new music, but on Wednesday, the “I Want You to Know” songstress shared a cheerful photo on Instagram where she offered thanks to God.

“Took a break from the studio to run and jump in the grass,” Gomez wrote. “Our God is so good!”

Over the past year, the former Disney star has been very outspoken about her relationship with God. On Easter, Gomez shared a photo from her celebration, adding: “God bless everyone!” Then, just days before sharing the jubilant photo on Wednesday, the singer proclaimed her appreciation for her pastors. She is believed to attend Hillsong Church in Los Angeles.

“My pastors are cool,” the singer wrote on April 3. “Words can’t describe how incredible they are. So grateful!”

Although the singer remains named in headlines relating to ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, Gomez is romantically linked to Russian-German musician Zedd, with whom she recently recorded the hit song “I Want You to Know.” During a fashion show in Paris last month, Gomez offered a glimpse at what fans can expect from her new music.

“I haven’t released any music in two years,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. “So it’s really going to be kind of showing my journey in the past two years, and there’s a little darkness in it.”

In addition to working on new music, Gomez is filming “In Dubious Battle” alongside James Franco, Josh Hutcherson, and Bryan Cranston, among many more. The drama, which centers on an activist involved in the labor movement for farm workers in California during the 1930s, is expected to hit theaters later this year. The starlet will also appear in “The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving” sometime next year.

Fox’s hit police procedural TV drama series “Bones” Season 10 never fails to deliver a good dose of crime, suspense and drama. Spoiler reports suggest that in this week’s showing, fans will be getting more of those factors.

The episode titled “The Baker in the Bits” will take on the Jeffersonian team investigating a crime case involving the murder of an ex-con. A synopsis from TV Guide indicated that the team will head over to a local bakery known for employing former felons.

During their investigation, they learned that the victim was actually involved in a robbery crime. These findings will lead them to probe even deeper on the deceased history.

The report meanwhile points out that viewers might expect more tension going on between Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) as the later finds out that her husband was once again getting into some of his old habits, which includes gambling.

Bones, according to the report, will confront Booth about his relapsing gambling problem but the Special Agent will deny it.

Speaking to TV Line, actress Deschanel informs the publication that Brennan will “work on himself and tries to get help. We’ll see how they do towards the end of the season!”

Moreover, the spoiler report also indicated that Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Vaziri (Pej Vahdat) will also suffer some strain in their relationship. Arastoo is said to take on a journey to visit his dying brother in Iran. This will put him in a conflict with forensic pathologist.

“Bones” Season 10 airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on FOX.

It’s not always that we stumble upon a person whom we can truly call a friend. And “Vikings” lead character Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) lost his and the effect on him is quite devastating.

Fans of the hit historical TV drama series saw the brave Norsemen readying themselves in last episode titled “Paris.”

In this week’s showing titled “To The Gates!” the Viking warriors became even more bolder and fiercer (as what the series of promo pictures released by History Channel suggests) as they approach the fabled “impenetrable walls” of Paris.

The other party, meanwhile, take on their parts to protect themselves against the impending invasion of the people from the North. Although followers of the series are rooting for King Ragnar’s victory, it remains to be seen whether or not the episode will end with the Vikings’ flag hoist upon the enemy’s walls.

A synopsis provided by the network warns that an equally strong force will pound Ragnar’s men but this will make them even more “determined to make it through the gates and of Paris and will stop nothing to succeed.”

However, the issue won’t only be about the sacking on the City of Lights. Ragnar’s dismay over the loss of his Anglo-Saxon monk friend will follow him into the battlefield.

“It’s going to have a huge impact psychologically and in other ways. We don’t necessarily see that immediately, but certainly when he gets to France. He becomes a slightly different, slightly darker man,” series creator Michael Hirst told Zap2It. “In the immediate aftermath, he’s going to mourn his friend and consequently be a lonely figure. It’s a desolate thing to happen to him.”

Witness the great raid on Paris when “Vikings” Season 3 airs this Thursday, April 9 at 10 p.m. on History Channel.
