Christian Post Report – “Constantine” ended its season 1 run back in February, and until now, it is unclear whether the Matt Ryan-led show will be back for a second season. The show premiered to low ratings and didn’t earn a back nine order during its first season on the show, and that usually spells trouble for any series as it often means immediate cancellation.

However, the “Constantine” team is not giving up easily as it’s still keeping the comic book adaptation alive through social media, where fans continue to show their support for the series. Now, fans are seeing a glimmer of hope as the show’s executive producer Daniel Cerone recently revealed that we might be seeing the man in the trench coat back on TV again.

Back in February, when asked on Twitter whether the show could be considered as “technically cancelled,” Cerone replied, “NBC made some early pickups but #Constantine not canceled. We’ll pitch them our plans for 2nd season in May. Then they decide.”

However, the pitch to NBC could happen sooner as Cerone took to Twitter on Sunday, March 29 and wrote, “End of April date has been set to pitch 2nd season ideas to NBC. Then they decide on a season 2. #Constantine #SaveConstantine #Hellblazers.”

According to Cinemablend, a pitch doesn’t automatically mean that “Constantine” will be renewed by NBC for a second season, but it does mean that the network is keeping its options open regarding its Friday night lineup.

When asked how fans can help to bring back the show, Cerone answered.

“Stream the available episodes and tell your friends,” he wrote on Twitter. “Anyone putting money in studio coffers by purchasing #Constantine in any form will motivate studio to find a home for show.”

“Rest assured, we’re working very hard internally to #SaveConstantine,” tweeted Cerone back at the end of February. “And trust me, THEY’RE HEARING YOU.”

Furthermore, being in their respective places, these two squads are very likely to meet in the first round of the West playoffs.

They have already met three times this season, with the Clippers leading the series two games to one.

In their first meeting at Staples Center, Los Angeles held on to a close 106-102 win behind 30 big points from J.J. Redick. The sharp-shooting guard shot an impressive 11-of-13 from the field, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. He also had four rebounds in 38 minutes on the court. Chris Paul played his usual best with 22 points and 11 assists while Blake Griffin added 23 despite only shooting 33 percent from the field.

For the Blazers, Damian Lillard had 25 points, LaMarcus Aldridge had 21 and Robin Lopez added 19. In the second game in Portland, it was Jamal Crawford who starred for the Clippers, scoring 25 points off the bench as they won 100-94. DeAndre Jordan had a great game with 17 points and 18 rebounds as Portland only had eight players in rotation. Aldridge dominated with 37 points but it was not enough as the usually reliable three-point shooting of the Blazers was absent, with the team only converting 23 percent of their shots from beyond the arc.

Portland finally notched a win over Los Angeles in their last meeting, with the game needing to go on overtime before the visitors pulled away 98-93.

Paul led the way for the Clippers with 36 points, but the only other player who scored in double figures was Redick with 26. Aldridge, Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews picked up the slack for the struggling Lillard, as the trio scored 29, 20 and 12 respectively. Lillard only had five points on 1-of-13 shooting.

Crystal Cathedral Founding Pastor Robert H. Schuller in Critical Condition; May Not Survive Pass Easter

Crystal Cathedral’s founder, Robert H. Schuller, is in critical condition, according to his family and ministry. The 88-year-old famed televangelist has battled esophageal cancer since 2013.

Christian Post Report – “We at Hour of Power and Shepherd’s Grove are deeply saddened to report that our founding pastor, Dr. Robert H. Schuller’s health is swiftly declining,” reads a Facebook posting by Shepherd’s Grove, the new name for Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral congregation, on Wednesday. “Please join us in prayer for him and the entire Schuller family during this difficult time. May our most precious Lord and Savior grant them peace and comfort as they gather at his side.”

The Orange County Register reported that Schuller’s daughter-in-law, Donna Schuller, who is the wife of Robert A. Schuller, said the elder preacher’s health has been declining since a digestive tract exploratory procedure in January. Donna says that the family does not expect Schuller to survive pass this week. Schuller’s wife, Arvella Schuller, died last February.

“He doesn’t seem to be in pain,” Donna said, choking up, according to OC Register. “He’s had a wonderful life and he’ll pass gracefully.”

She also noted that it would be meaningful coincidence if Schuller passes away during Easter week.

“He always did everything in a grand fashion,” she said. “It’s just like him.”

Crystal Cathedral during its heydays hosted extravagant pageants for Easter and Christmas, called “The Glory of Easter” and “The Glory of Christmas,” respectively. The elaborate Easter production featured flying angels, live animals, a cast of more than 200 performers, and colorful costumes.

Schuller is perhaps best known for his weekly “Hour of Power” television program and for building the architectural phenomenon Crystal Cathedral – a Southern California landmark designed by American architect Philip Johnson that is the largest glass building in the world and has one of the largest musical instruments in the world – its gigantic organ.

But the later years of Schuller’s life was plagued with financial scandals and mismanagement, with the Crystal Cathedral declaring bankruptcy in 2010 and forced to sell its iconic church building to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange. The Diocese renamed the building Christ Cathedral.

Shepherd’s Grove, the new name of the Crystal Cathedral congregation, is led by Bobby Schuller, the grandson of Robert H. Schuller.

Christian Post Report – Sunday’s iHeartRadio Music Awards promised a lot of surprise collaborations, and fans were indeed blown away when Taylor Swift turned up to play acoustic guitar to accompany Madonna as she sang her new single “Ghosttown”.

The duo started their performance sitting down on stools before rocking out with a spirited version of “Rebel Heart.” Madonna later thanked Swift with a kiss on the cheek, and the 56-year-old later reappeared to present Swift with the Song of the Year award, which she won for “Shake it Off.”

A source tells E! News that the friendship between the two stars began after Madonna praised Swift’s songwriting skills in interviews. Swift, who has been a long-time fan of Madonna, took the compliments to heart and gushed over the iconic singer.

“She has an opinion, and she’s going against the norm,” said Madonna to Rolling Stone of the “Style” singer. “So in that respect, she is similar to me, yeah. And also, people just want to give her a hard time all the time because they think she’s a goody-two-shoes, so of course I want to embrace her.”

Meanwhile, another source tells E! News that the Swift and Madonna’s performance was so tightly under wraps that many members of their camps were unaware of any partnership until just hours before the pair took the stage.

After their performance, the singers took to their Instagram page to post pictures. Madonna captioned hers, “My new favorite guitar player! Thank you Taylor! Just you and I in a #ghosttown #rebelhearts.”

A few minutes later, Swift also posted a picture of them on the photo sharing app and captioned it, “I might be okay but I’m NOT FINE AT ALL. #MyFangirlLife #MadonnaAndTaylor.”

Christian Post Report – On last Sunday’s episode of “The Good Wife,” Alicia meets with some well-wishers after winning the state’s attorney election, and Florrick/Argos/Lockhart falls victim to a cyber attack.

Alicia returns to the firm to find her office filled with gifts and other items congratulating her on her win. No sooner has she sat down when visitors and requests for favors start to come in.

James Castro is the first to stop by and he asks Alicia to keep his current deputy in place during her administration. She says that’s not possible, but he says, “It is customary for the incoming SA not to investigate the outgoing SA.” He ends up threatening her before he leaves as he tells her, “A lame duck can still tank your record before you get started.”

Next to drop by is Guy Redmayne. He mentions that he sent a gift of “a chessboard made out of human teeth” and makes his request: he wants her to appoint his friend Dean Lumber as her deputy. Alicia is not too keen with his suggestion, so he too leaves her with a threat: “I spent seven figures putting you into office. It won’t cost me nearly as much to get you out of it.”

Lemond Bishop stops by and asks Alicia to ensure his safety and stop Geneva Pine’s investigation. She promises to stop the investigation and grant him immunity if he’ll testify against his lieutenants. Bishop tells her that this is not a smart move at all as he leaves.

Eli learns about Alicia’s interaction with Redmayne and barges into her office. He angrily advises her to respond to all requests as such: “Thank you for your advice. All options are open to me. I plan to decide in the next 48 hours.” So Alicia meets again with Redmayne and she tries to appease him. Alicia also meets with Castro and Bishop, but she appoints Finn Bolmar as her deputy.

Meanwhile, the firm is busy with a case involving a movie producer suing an illegal pirating site named WharfMaster for leaking a movie before its release. The site’s fans are angry with the firm for threatening the site, so they hack and leak the firm’s network and start sharing private emails online.

It’s hurtful for everyone in the firm as secrets are exposed, but Alicia is spared most of it. Then, the hackers threaten to release two years’ worth of emails, so Alicia asks Marissa to search her account for anything that could be used against her.

Later, the suit gets settled and the hackers are called off, but the cost to repair the damages affected the firm’s ability to pay Alicia’s buyout offer. The partners offer her a buyout of $100,000, which is less than what they initially offered her. She tells them, “I want you to know that this offer does not in any way impact my consideration of your criminal cases when I’m SA.”

“The Good Wife” airs on Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.

Christian Post Report – On last Sunday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the ladies take Dr. Jeff’s advice to go on a retreat to fix their relationships and they fly to the Philippines, and Nene stays behind as she meets with the creative director of Broadway’s “Cinderella.”

Nene is in New York and meeting with the creative director of “Cinderella.” In a mock British accent, Nene reads her lines and later, when she’s told that she has to improve, she tells him, “I will bring it.” She also said that she would like to use two accents for her character. He tells her that she better “bring it” because her name is on the marquee.

After a 16-hour flight, Claudia, Kenya, Porsha, Demetria, Kandi, Cynthia, and Phaedra arrive in the Philippines. Claudia takes them to a vegan detox resort, and she assigns the biggest room to Phaedra because she’s been having a hard time lately, and Phaedra is openly touched by the gesture. The rest of the ladies are also impressed with their accommodations.

The next morning, Claudia invites Phaedra to lunch so that Phaedra will know that “this isn’t a set up.” Claudia tells her that she too went through a painful divorce.

“I dealt with it in not a great way,” said Claudia. “I drank a lot of wine. I was depressed. I had suicidal thoughts.”

Phaedra appreciates her support, but is not quite willing to talk about Apollo yet. However, she’s glad that Claudia sincerely reached out, and the two of them ended up connecting well and laughing.

Later, Phaedra and Kandi meet for pedicures. They talk about how they both got hurt over miscommunications, but in the end they agree that they’re true friends and that they should stick together. Kandi also hopes that Phaedra can find it in her heart to forgive Kenya.

Over a group dinner of smuggled chicken and alcohol, Claudia tries her best to help others mend fences. Cynthia tries to apologize to Phaedra for confronting her about Mr. Chocolate a few weeks ago, but Phaedra ignores her. This causes Porsha to giggle.

Claudia calls Porsha out for giggling, and Kenya and Demetria accuse Porsha of undoing all the efforts the other ladies made so far. Exasperated, Claudia stands up and clinks a glass with her spoon to get their attention, but she ends up breaking it.

Later, Kenya says that she wants to mend her relationship with Phaedra after Apollo lied about Kenya sending him flirty text messages. Phaedra still has her doubts, so Kenya asks her if she’s willing to have a private conversation, and Phaedra agrees. The women cheer and toast to “doing the work.”

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

Christian Post Report – Fans of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” will be tuning in for the reunion show as they hope to find answers to the following questions: Will Kim and Kyle settle their differences and restore their relationship as sisters? Will Brandi be lashing out at Lisa Vanderpump or Kyle or any of the other ladies that she has issues with? And will Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna be back for another season after all the craziness that they experienced during season 5?

In a new promo for the Bravo hit’s reunion show, Brandi’s dating life is going to discussed by the other housewives. It can be recalled that while they were in Amsterdam, Brandi went on a date with a younger man who knows Lisa V. and her family. In the video, Brandi admits that she got intimate with him and that they’ve been talking online and he wants to come to the U.S. to visit her.

However, Lisa V. claims that the same guy told her something very different, and here is when tension starts to build in the studio. She also said that it was unbecoming of Brandi to be with someone so much younger than her.

Brandi is not thrilled with this as she immediately lashes out at Lisa and accuses her of wanting the guy for herself. The ladies then turn on Brandi for what they think is a low blow.

That’s not all the drama that will happen on the reunion show as Lisa Rinna took to her Bravo blog and wrote that the reunion was “a nightmare of epic proportions, like a roller coaster you were trapped on for 10 hours”. A few weeks ago, some of the housewives took to social media to post that this season’s reunion show was the hardest and most exhausting so far compared to previous seasons.

Christian Post Report – “Tekken” executive producer and game director Katsuhiro Harada revealed three characters for “Tekken 7.”

Both Jin Kazama and Devil Jin have returned to the series and will be added to the game on March 31st and April 7, respectively.

Kazama has improved moves with more powerful punches and strikes, and his fighting style is similar to that of a professional boxer. Meanwhile, Devil Jin has laser-fire eyes and though the character looks a lot like Kazama, it has a different fighting style.

Meanwhile, the new character which Harada introduced is named Josie Rizal, the series’ first fighter of Filipino descent. Designed by Mari Shimazaki of Bayonetta fame, the character’s name is a nod to the Philippines’ national hero, Jose Rizal. The character’s clothing is also based on the Philippine flag’s colors, which are red, blue, yellow with a bit of white detailing, and she specializes in both kickboxing and Eskrima, with a bit of muay thai thrown in.

Last year, it was announced that the game will introduce other characters from different parts of the world, and new characters Katarina Alves (Brazilian) and Shaheen (Saudi Arabian) were added to the roster, and both are designed as beginner friendly characters.

Several characters will also be speaking in their native languages, so Leo and Lili will be speaking German and French respectively for the first time in the series, while Claudio, Katarina, and Shaheen will speak their native Italian, Portuguese, and Arabic respectively.

“Tekken 7” has already been released in arcades in Japan on March 18 and the game reportedly has already gained a steady fan base. Bandai Namco has yet to announce when the game will hit other platforms in other territories. The game is expected to make an appearance at EVO 2015.

Christian Post Report – As they eagerly await the birth of their first child, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard celebrated the one year anniversary of their engagement on Sunday, March 29, by taking to Instagram to post throwback pictures.

“One year ago, she said yes,” Derick wrote. “Happy engagement anniversary to my beautiful bride @jillmdillard I love you Jill Michelle! #newlyweds.”

Jill also took to the photo sharing app and wrote, “One year ago today, the sweetest man in the whole world asked me to marry him. I said, ‘yes, totally!’…now, 9 months into marriage we await the arrival of our little #babydilly.”

Baby Dilly, as the couple refers to their unborn child, was scheduled to arrive on March 25. On Friday, Derick took to Instagram to share another photo update of his wife holding up a chalkboard with the words “40 weeks and 2 days.” He also took to Twitter to announce that he can hardly wait for his son’s arrival as he tweeted, “40 weeks: time to make like a baby and ‘head out’ anytime now, son #BabyDilly.”

Jill has previously said that she doesn’t think that her baby will come anytime this month. The 23-year-old, who is a trained midwife, recently told People that she has named April 5 as her second due date because “first time moms often go a week and a half over” their expected due dates.

The “19 Kids and Counting” star was even able to fit in a little volunteer work over the weekend as she shared an Instagram shot of her volunteering at the Compassion Center in Springdale, AR. The center is a non-profit that “funds, resources, and supports hunger, foster care and adoption, life training and immigration transition” according to the center’s official Instagram account.

Grammy-award winning rapper Lecrae will open for the wildly successful comedian Kevin Hart at Essence Fest 2015 which takes place on July 2 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Superdome.

Lecrae celebrated the performance slot and spoke on it during a recent interview with Essence.

“I’m someone who appreciates the culture — someone who has grown up loving black music and appreciative of everything from Frankie Beverly and Maze to Kendrick Lamar, and then having those firm faith foundations. I’m somebody who cares about you, who wants you to enjoy yourself,” Lecrae said.

Hart, who stars in the new film “Get Hard” with Will Ferrell, will perform at this year’s Essence Festival where Lecrae will open for him at 7 p.m. The rapper also commented on some of the other performers who will be at this year’s event.

“You deal with people like Anthony Hamilton and you get that vibe. But it’s R&B/soul. Within hip-hop, you really haven’t had anybody you feel like, ‘Man, that’s my brother. He’s not just here to turn up all the way on me,” Lecrae added. “He wants to encourage me in my relationship, he wants to be a positive influence in my life and yet, we can have a good time.”

Along with Hart and Lecrae, other big names in the conscious hip-hop community will be on stage that day including Kendrick Lamar, who recently released his sophomore album To Pimp a Butterfly.

Lecrae labeled Kendrick’s latest album as “high art” during an interview with Christian music website Breathecast.

“Kendrick’s album is high art. With high art and high story, you gotta take you time and really digest it,” Lecrae told BC. “It’s not something that you can just casually listen to and say, ‘Alright, this is what I think.'”
