Canadian singer Justin Bieber performs on stage during the “I Believe Tour” in Helsinki, Finland, April 26, 2013.

Christian Post Report – “The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber” featured a number of entertainers telling crude jokes at pop star Justin Bieber’s expense recently, but the singer still found time to speak about God’s grace.

Bieber, 21, was the butt of the jokes of high profile people like Martha Stewart, Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, Jeff Ross and Snoop Dogg. However, Bieber had a lot to say in his own speech when he admitted to some of his past mistakes.

“There was really no preparing me for this life. I was thrown into this at 12-years-old and I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into,”Bieber said. “There’s been moments I’m really proud of, and a lot of moments I look back and I’m pretty disappointed in myself for. But the things that I’ve done really don’t define who I am.”

The singer went on to apologize for his bad behavior.

“I’m a kindhearted person who loves people. And through it all I lost some of my best qualities,” he said. “For that, I’m sorry. But what I can say is I’m looking forward to being someone that you guys can all look at and be proud of.”

Bieber said he was thankful for God’s grace.

“Someone you can smile at and see some of yourself in. Someone close to me once said ‘It’s how you rise from a fall that truly defines you as a man,'” the singer said during his Comedy Central roast. “I’m excited for that challenge and I want to say thank you so much for taking this journey with me and I’m excited for you to see what’s next. Thank you, God, for your grace and for never giving up on me.”

Earlier this month, Bieber appeared on the cover of Men’s Health magazine where he spoke about wanting to turn his life around.

“This has really been a big year for me, as far as figuring stuff out,” Bieber previously told the publication. “This is almost like a full 180 from how I was. Yesterday, a year from yesterday, I was in jail.”

Bieber came into the public eye as a global phenomenon at 13 years old, and spoke about why growing up in front of the world was no easy feat. Still, the pop star told the publication that it’s important for him to maintain his “sense of purity.”

“There’s a part of me that I don’t ever want to grow up,” he previously said. “I want to always remain … to have that sense of purity inside of me where I don’t … I don’t want to lose that sense of purity.”

A promo shot from season 5 of The Walking Dead

Christian Post Report – The long untitled “The Walking Dead” spinoff series has gotten itself a title. It is now officially called “Fear the Walking Dead.” Aside from a title, the new series also aired its first trailer after the season five finale of “The Walking Dead.”

The trailer which was aired on AMC hinted that Los Angeles will be hit with something big. Another report in the Business Insider says that the new series may just reveal the origins of the zombie apocalypse, something that the original series did not touch on. The report says that the trailer hints at “a flu-like virus” that started the whole thing and that this may have happened while Rick Grimes was comatose.

The new series has the comic book creator Robert Kirkman as one of the show’s executive producers, together with Dave Erickson, Gale Hurd and Dave Alpert from “The Walking Dead” and special effects man Greg Nicotero. The series pilot was written by Kirkman and Erickson and will premiere late summer of 2015.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is set in Los Angeles, but will be shot entirely in Vancouver. The cast, as earlier confirmed, will include Cliff Curtis as teacher Sean Cabrera, Kim Dickens as Nancy Tompkins, a school guidance counselor who has two teenage kids, played by Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam-Carey. Teacher Sean Cabrera also has a teenage son named Cody Cabrera. Both adults are single parents who are left to deal not only with family problems but also with the coming zombie problem that their town will face.

The new series was earlier touted as being a prequel of the original series, which means a new storyline that was separately developed from the comic book series. The Forbes report cites that this may bode well for the new series, allowing the producers and writers to make something “truly character-driven,” unlike what they did in the original series.

Better Call Saul FACEBOOK/ Better Call Saul

AMC’s “Better Call Saul”

Christian Post Report – Things are definitely getting more exciting as the first season of AMC’s hugely-popular TV show series “Better Call Saul” continues with this week’s penultimate episode titled “Pimento.” And just like its parent show “Breaking Bad,” Bob Odenkirk’s prequel story of the criminal attorney, Saul Goodman, just keeps getting better as it nears its season’s culmination.

Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan shared some insights on what to expect during the series finale.

“I will say what happens in the rest of the show surprised us. These characters went in directions we weren’t expecting. The cast added such layers to these folks. This is the glory of television. We watched what the actors were doing as we shot the first few, and realized that some of our ideas of who these people were could be developed more,” Gould told HitFix.

Gould added further that fans should expect “some twists and turns” as BCS nears its conclusion.

“That’s the best thing I could say. But I would say the last two episodes especially surprised us completely,” he went on to say.

During the panel screening of “Pimento,” Vince Gilligan meanwhile shared some information on where the story will pick up should it get served with another season. The creator admits he and Gould still don’t have any idea where to start.

“Do we spend some time during the period, the epoch, of Breaking Bad? Do we show what happened in between the scenes of Walt and Jesse? Is there more to tell in the Omaha years? These are all questions we do not have answers to yet,” he told The Guardian.

However, no matter which storyline “Better Call Saul” will tread on to, Gilligan assures its followers that it would certainly be a worthwhile ride.

“The fans who pay strict attention, we want to honor them for that. We want reward them for that,” Gilligan said. “We will make mistakes. There’s no doubt about that, but we intend not to. We intend to keep them to as small a number of mistakes as possible.”

“Better Call Saul” airs this Monday, March 30 on AMC.

Jackman is reportedly hinting at the final sequel of the “Wolverine” series, which is reportedly due for release in March 2017. The still untitled movie is being called “Wolverine 3” in the meantime. Director James Mangold replied to Jackman’s Instagram post.

“Can’t wait to make this, HJ! Been toiling quietly a while now!” he said.

This news also confirms what was earlier made known by Jackman himself about the fate of his playing Wolverine and that of his character as well. Jackman said his next time would probably be his last.

“If I did another one I’m 99.9% sure it would be the last, so that will inform what it is for me,” the actor told Screen Rant last year.

As for the storyline that the sequel may follow, there has been speculation that it may bring in some elements of the “Old Man Logan” story, which is set in a future where the villains have taken over the world and Logan is trying to live a life without using his claws. Another set of rumors say that the sequel may also take some of the story elements from the “Death of Wolverine.”

Twentieth Century Fox has not confirmed any of these reports.

In the seven-minute video entitled “just be you and live original,” Robertson candidly revealed her own height, weight, and clothing sizes before admitting her own struggle with jealousy and confidence problems.

“The reality is, I struggle with comparing myself to other people, I struggle with worry, and I’m really hard on myself,” the teen continued in the tell-all video. “I am just like every other girl and I look in the mirror and pick out the flaw.”

‘Deadpool’ News: Official Synopsis and Official Costume Revealed

Ryan Reynolds Ryan Reynolds/Twitter

Ryan Reynolds debuts the full costume for his role in Marvel’s “X-Men” film series, “Deadpool” premiering in theaters on February 12, 2016. Twitter. March 27, 2015

Christian Post Report – It is official – the “Deadpool” solo movie is happening. Ryan Reynolds who will star as the “Merc with the Mouth” recently posted a photo of himself on Twitter in his official “Deadpool” black and red costume and mask. He parodied a famous nude photo of Burt Reynolds on a rug, with a funny caption to boot: “With great power, comes great irresponsibility.”

Aside from the official costume, the movie’s official logo was also released, according to a report in Screen Rant. An official Twitter account was also set up (@deadpoolmovie) and an official website.

The movie’s official synopsis as published in the website, says: “Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.”

February 2016 is the movie’s expected release date. Some observers are saying this is too soon, but some reports also note that “Deadpool” does not need extra time to cast its star and look for a director, as both of these were already on board before the movie was given a go-signal. It also had a working script.

Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as the mentally-unstable Wade Wilson. Other cast members like Morera Baccarin, Gina Carano and Ed Skrein are playing unknown characters as of the moment. Baccarin will play Wilson’s love interest. Skrein has definitely been cast as the villain but no details as to which villain.

The report also hints at a possible bigger connection with the “X-Men” cinematic universe especially if the story will touch on the Weapon X project that created Wolverine and Deadpool. The movie may introduce a better origins story for Weapon X and that of Deadpool also.
